We had a wonderful stay at Lancaster House in Bogotá! The hotel was comfortable, clean, and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was also great for getting around and exploring Bogotá. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience and would definitely consider staying here again. The only thing I would say could be improved is the food, as some of the dishes we tried were not quite to our taste. Other than that, we had a great stay and would happily recommend Lancaster House to others visiting Bogotá! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lancaster House has large suites with kitchens so suited for long term stays whether for tourists like us or business people who could also make strategic use of the many conference rooms in this safe and upmarket business and residential area of Bogota. The warm and professional welcome and attention to detail in the service gives credit to the outstanding management and put us at ease upon arrival. My daughter enjoyed the selection of mocktails, the adaptations of some classical items on the menu to her taste and sensitivities and I enjoyed being introduced to the local, hearty chicken, potato and herb soup, Ajiaco, which was delicious, at the Gatsby restaurant of the hotel. Highly recommending this hotel if you expect more than the impersonal chain hotels, yet want good value for money.
I stayed at Lancaster House for 5 days and the stay beyond exceeded my expectations! The room was spacious, comfortable, and had modern amenities. The location was in a safe area and centrally located next to restaurants and various shops. The restaurant served delicious, traditional, Colombian food throughout the day and room service was also offered. There was a gym, sauna, and jacuzzi in the hotel. The staff was cordial, professional, and helpful. It’ll be the only place I stay in Bogota.
This is a good hotel with spacious rooms an excellent service. Unfortunately the installations are a bit aged and the amenities look old and require a revamp to be up to par with a 4 stars hotel. Another detail to know for any other traveler is that the jacuzzi and sauna are additional services not included in the hotel fare.
My Wife and I stayed at the Lancaster House Hotel for one month. While the hotel is a little dated the people and service make for a great time. We are already planning on when we come back to staying here. We had a suite with terrace. The kitchen was adequate with full size fridge, microwave and 2 burner stove. But really we ordered from RAPPI daily or went out. The rooms were quite large and comfortable. Breakfast is included which is eggs your way and lots of fruit, cheese, soup, hot sides like arepas, Coffee, tea and juice were always available. As to how hot some rooms are that is due to the orientation of the building east and west. So right now with the sun in the southern hemisphere the rooms to the south side of the building get a lot of sun. (keep the shades down to block the sun ) The Staff is great from Vladimir to Francis and everyone in between were kind and very helpful. If you need something they will do it. (We needed a mattress topper for more padding and it was immediately provided. Like I said we will be staying here again and not renting an apartment.
