Location: Four Seasons Hotel Casa Medina enjoys an excellent location in Bogotá’s Zona G, one of the city’s most appealing neighborhoods for dining and nightlife. Excellent restaurants, cafés and bars are within easy walking distance, including the acclaimed El Chato. Despite its central setting, the hotel feels pleasantly removed from the bustle of the city. Service: Service throughout the stay was polished, warm and consistently attentive. Every member of staff I encountered was genuinely friendly and helpful. Even arriving at around 2 a.m., check-in was seamless and efficiently handled. Food & Drinks: I only experienced breakfast, but it was excellent. The buffet offers a generous selection of fresh fruit, breads and pastries alongside well-prepared Colombian specialties. Quality was consistently high and made for a very good start to the day. Rooms: The rooms are elegant, comfortable and thoughtfully equipped, with everything one could reasonably need. Much of the hotel’s appeal comes from the building itself: a beautifully restored historic property with distinctive architectural character, giving the rooms considerably more personality than those of a conventional city hotel. Facilities: The gym is relatively small and functional rather than exceptional, but perfectly adequate for a workout. More memorable are the hotel’s atmospheric communal spaces, including an inviting bar and a number of elegant lounges and quiet corners that are ideal for reading or unwinding. Summary: A beautifully characterful hotel that combines historic architecture, a prime Bogotá location and polished Four Seasons service. Casa Medina manages to feel intimate and residential while still offering the standards expected of a luxury city hotel. An excellent choice for both leisure and business stays in Bogotá.

A beautiful colonial gem with intimate luxury I spent two nights at the Four Seasons Casa Medina last week, and it was an absolutely stunning experience. Having previously visited the other Four Seasons property in Bogota—which features their more typical, modern look—Casa Medina stands out for its incredibly intimate and historic atmosphere. The colonial architecture is beautiful, seamlessly blending the charm and character of an old heritage building with brand-new technology. The suites are truly special, each boasting a gorgeous, unique design that makes the stay feel deeply personal. If you appreciate history, exceptional design, and top-tier service, this property is a spectacular choice. Highly recommended!
Excellent hotel, customer care and service is TOP. The food is AMAZING Great breakfast buffet. Hotel attendances are the best always available and eager to help. Location is prime having walking distance amazing restaurants. Don’t forget to visit the hidden bar on the ground floor The bartender will surprise you with amazing cocktails 🍸. Can’t wait to go back.
We stayed for five days and honestly, it started to feel like home. The hotel is beautiful, spotless, and full of charm. The staff were consistently courteous and helpful, which always makes a difference. The buffet breakfast was a highlight — lots of choices, great gluten-free options, and an amazing variety of fresh fruits every morning. Like some other reviews mention, there is a bit of street noise. In our case, it was more of a constant murmur of people talking outside. Not ideal — but the way the team handled it absolutely was. Once we mentioned it to the reservations desk, they quickly moved us and even upgraded us to a suite. That level of responsiveness was truly appreciated. We also booked three excursions through the hotel with Hansa Tours, and the guides were fantastic — knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely caring. We really enjoyed spending the days with them. Now for the one area that needs attention: the tour vehicles. The first day’s car was perfectly fine. After that, though, each vehicle had some issue — and when you’re spending most of the day in a car, that matters. One had only two fixed AC/heating settings, so it was either too much or not enough until we finally gave up and opened the windows. Another had a seat stuck in an awkward position with just two options: bolt upright or leaning way back. Not exactly comfortable for a long drive. When you’re maintaining a certain class and booking full-day excursions, the vehicles should match that standard. The tours themselves were wonderful — now the cars just need to catch up
Nothing but perfection. Excellent spacious rooms with (importantly) great bathrooms. The staff are in top of everything, breakfast in a wonderful setting with a matching selection of delicacies. Super cool bar with a great jazzy vibe, amazing restaurant. Sad to leave it.
