Lake Bled Tandem Paragliding

This was incredible!!! Spectacular views, amazing pilot and seriously exciting. Flying over the island across the middle of the lake was simply breathtaking.

I am writing this review because I believe potential customers, particularly young women travelling alone, should be aware of my experience with this company. I am 19 years old and travelled specifically from Ljubljana to Lake Bled to undertake a tandem hang-gliding flight. I paid €145 for the experience, including the photographs, and approximately €15 in additional bus travel specifically to get to Lake Bled for the activity. I had been genuinely looking forward to the experience. Unfortunately, the conduct of my instructor, left me feeling extremely uncomfortable, vulnerable and genuinely afraid for my safety. What happened: Sexually suggestive comments about me being 'legal', unnecessary touching/grabbing of my arm (right before saying “It’s only us now" and “We are alone.” with a sexual tone) & more comments on men being attracted to younger girls. These did not feel like isolated awkward jokes. To me, they formed a pattern of sexually suggestive comments and behaviour while I was in an exceptionally vulnerable position. What happened afterwards: The experience I paid for was completely ruined. What should have been an exciting and memorable experience instead left me feeling threatened, uncomfortable and frightened. I subsequently submitted a formal complaint to the company, explaining what had happened. I have received no response to my complaint. I am particularly concerned about the possibility that other young or vulnerable customers may have experienced similar behaviour but did not feel able to report it. I am therefore sharing my experience publicly because I do not want another woman to find herself in the same position. I am not making assumptions about anyone else's experience. I am simply documenting what happened to me, what was said to me, how I felt during the flight, and the fact that my formal complaint has so far gone unanswered. If you are considering booking, particularly as a young woman travelling alone, I strongly recommend that you read this account carefully and make your own informed decision.

The pick up and drop off was smooth. The instructor was friendly and serious. It goes against your natural instincts to jump off a cliff but it's amazing! I landed safely on my butt. Just book the tour.

What an amazing experience. We were a group of 5 and we had a brilliant time. Extremely well organised and safe, our original date got cancelled due to bad weather and we managed to reorganise. Klemen was always in communication with us. Some first timers in our group and we felt completely safe and once in the air the views and flight was unreal I’d do it all over again!

What an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel welcome, safe, and completely at ease. The instructors were highly professional, friendly, and explained everything clearly, which made the whole flight stress-free. Flying over Lake Bled was simply breathtaking. The views of the lake, the island, the castle, and the surrounding mountains are unforgettable. It was the perfect balance of excitement and peacefulness. A special thank you to the entire team for their positive attitude and professionalism. They truly made this a highlight of our trip to Slovenia. If you’re visiting Lake Bled and considering paragliding, don’t hesitate—this is an experience you’ll remember for a lifetime. Highly recommended!

Extremely fun. The instructors were all very experienced and knew exactly how to resolve any worries or issues. I didn’t even realise but in seconds we were off the ground and flying high. The scenery was beautiful and flying over lake Bled, doing cool tricks, even being allowed to control the paraglide for a little while. Would definitely do it again, the experience lasted quite long and everything was quick and snappy with introductions.

Cannot have enough word to describe how grateful we felt that day. We were very nervous and even the morning same day we wanted to give it up fortunately we didn’t , honestly it’s very easy and pleasant feeling, once you got to the sky you’ll feel wow you made it immediately. Our instructors, I only remember one name Tomas, he was very very nice and warm, he would make you feel very easy and relax to fly, I can do again and again with him without being nervous at all haha. Thanks all who created this unforgettable moment with us. We definitely recommend to everybody this activity. Just one note, if you have plane sick or car sick you should consider taking a pill before

Went with my mom and sister and had the best time. The guides were so nice and we were in the air for about 25 minutes! Totally worth the money!!

This was one of my best experiences ever, I loved every minute of the flight! The view of Lake Bled was just mesmerizing. For anyone not scared of heights, I strongly recommend trying this. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

My adult son and I had a fantastic experience !! The pilots were experienced, I felt safe at all times, it was very exciting and exhilarating with views over like blood that are impossible to achieve in any other way!

We had a truly amazing paragliding experience! The pilots were highly professional, made us feel very safe, and the timing of the whole activity was perfectly organized. Everything ran smoothly, and overall it was a fantastic adventure that I would highly recommend. The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because of two small issues: I had to send a message to the operator through Viator around 9 pm the evening before to confirm the timing for the next day. It would have been much better to receive this information proactively from the operator a bit earlier. I purchased the photo & video package for both me and my husband. While his pictures and videos turned out amazing, I only received one short landing video and nothing from the actual flight, which was a bit disappointing. Despite these points, the overall experience was incredible and I would still highly recommend it!

We had a great Experience! Our instructors were very nice and accommodating. The views from the sky were the best of the lake and town. Highly recommend this activity if you are around the bled area!

We’re a family of four from Ireland – two teenage boys and two parents in our early 50s who were definitely out of our comfort zone! From the moment we arrived, the Lake Bled Paragliding team made us feel at ease. They were friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do. Once in the air, all nerves vanished. The views over Lake Bled and the surrounding mountains were absolutely breathtaking – something we’ll remember forever. Our pilots were reassuring and made the whole experience feel safe and fun. None of us had paraglided before, but we are already talking about doing it again. This is a perfect adventure for first-time flyers – thrilling without being intimidating. The experience was great. The men doing the gliding were friendly. The views were great. I would suggest to take an early flight if possible.

Pick up and drop off from my accommodation was great. We got to the launch site and everything was really organised we were taking off within 15 minutes of arrival. The experience lasted about 15 minutes and we had some fun on the way to landing. Felt 100% safe and the pilot was well in control the entire time. Loved the experience.

The flights are determined by the wind, and can range from 8 mins to 30 mins. I contacted the company directly, rather than the various booking agents, as the weather forecast might mean very short flights. The owner, Klemens, was very responsive and we agreed to confirm later in the morning whether it was a goer or not. There was a risk I could miss out altogether, but I’d rather that then pay for a flight that didn’t do much. But I now know, there is no such thing! Every experience is incredible and worth it. I think 8 of us took off in the one session and we all had very different experiences, and all loved it. My wife took off first (in tandem with an expert) and she headed straight towards Lake Bled and stayed relatively low. Another glider followed a similar path and both landed to the south of the lake. The rest of the gliders circled for a long time, getting higher and higher, giving amazing views of snow capped Mt Triglav. And then, when we were maybe 200m above the takeoff slope, we headed towards the lake. Soaring over the island gave us a Birds Eye view of the church and other buildings. I was lucky enough to also glide over the castle before coming into land at the western end of the lake. Key learning for me: Don’t stress about the length of the flight. The whole experience will make it worthwhile

Excellent experience! It was the first time paragliding for both of us and we felt safe and well informed. The views were of course wonderful! The pilots were professional and very friendly. The only negative aspect was the communication before the flight day. The day before the activity I had not heard anything from the local tour organizer even though I had reached out through the viator chat option. This caused a bit of stress and difficulties for travel planning. :) When I called them the day before, then I found out that they were not sure if the activity was possible due to the wind. This is, of course, understandable, but it would have been nice to be more informed. Everything was sorted in the end and we absolutely loved the experience!

I can’t think of a better place to paraglide than over the beautiful Lake Bled. The team were professional it was definitely the highlight of our holiday.

We had a group of 6 and the guides were all awesome! The videos are great. Wear clothes with zippers to be able to keep your phone with you. The view is amazing. Thank you very much!

One of the best experiences I had done. Lovely views over bled once up. Totally secure with my guide who was brilliant. Four of us were all up in the air together eventually. Wasn’t as cold as first thought but sure was windy. Pick up and drop off was close and easy.

My pilot,Jon was so personable and ensured my safety during the flight. Pick up from hotel was on time and drop off was easy too. Highly recommend.

Thanks team for an epic morning of paragliding! My first every paraglide, I loved the whole experience of the flight. Very relaxing once you've taken off, the take off and landing are super easy. I will return. Honestly, if you're considering it, go for it!

Everything was perfect. Two days before the appointment they write to you to tell you the time and the meeting point. After a 20 min journey you arrive at the jump site and they introduce you to your pilot. When I went, they offered to record with their GoPro for a price (it depends on the person, I didn't do it). At all times they convey calm, the instructions are very simple, and that's it. Time to fly. Up there everything is slow, calm. After a 15 or 20 min flight (it will seem short to you) you land and back to the real world.
