High Tech Axe Throwing Fun At The Axe Factor

We went to the axe throwing last weekend and had an amazing time, Pree was so helpful kind, he made the experience 10x better! Thank you so much!

We are both 64 but thought we would try something new while visiting Shrewsbury. Pree was a fantastic host!! I was rubbish at it but he was so patient 😂. Great guy and very friendly. I may never be a good axe thrower but had a great time with Pree hosting. 😁

Had a great time at The Axe factor. We went there for my sons 30th birthday. Loads of different games to play like whack a mole, zombie's or just a target board. Chap who runs it is a legend. Would highly recommend.

Easy to find venue. We had a great time, Prees the host with the most was really attentive and helped us out to get started. I’ve been to other axe throwing venues previously which were more ‘rugged’ and I was a little dubious of the hybrid mix with technology but it worked well and was warmer!! We played a couple of different games (the visuals are projected onto the wooden wall) each one was good fun. The set up is small but feels personalised - we spent a great hour on a cold wet day - thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend.

Had an amazing experience at the Axe Factor, great fun, they have lots of different games. I have never thrown an axe before, and the member of staff Pree was a great friendly theacher manking the experience even nicer. Definitely recommend it!

Such a lovely experience! We had so much fun :) I was kinda nervous to start with, I am not usually trusted with sharp things, so to yeet and axe was a bit scary! But honestly the staff were amazing and the guy talked us though it step by step and was so reassuring! Super friendly and even took a cheeky selfie haha I ended up having so much fun and can't wait to go back! I also beat my boyfriend so that was a bonus :) 10000/10

Visitors Today - 6th May with a. Group of 10 people. Everything flowed really smoothly and was a Fantastic Experience unlike traditional axe throwing Axe Factor uses Games and challenges via a virtual projector on the targets which really changes it up and is a lot of fun! Great Staff as well that were engaged throughout with coaching when needed - Thank you very much

Absolutely fantastic experience. My partner had been axe throwing previously but I am a complete novice. They catered to both of us and certainly didn't make me feel inferior for not succeeding at any point of our session. Pree was our instructor for our session and he instantly put me at ease. He explained the rules of the lanes and then explained how to throw correctly. During our session, we had a chat plus a laugh and a joke. The session itself was certainly worth the cost. There are several games that you can play, so it's not just 'who can hit the bullseye'. Will definitely be going back again! Thank you so much for making our monthly date day memorable.

Brought my daughter's here this morning (22/4/25) whilst in half-term to prepare them for when the world goes (even more)to s**t!!! Amazing experience, aided massively by our host Pree. Thank you mate, you're knowledge and attentiveness put us at ease immediately. Can't wait to come back again!

Absolutely epic!! We've never been before and didn't even know that such a place existed. You get about 10-15 minutes very precise training and a detailed safety briefing before being allowed to use the axes. It's so much fun! Because of the training, you can get really good shots In and so it can get pretty competitive. Really good stress relief as well. Staff are so lovely, very patient and really knowledgeable what they are doing and saying. Definitely worth a visit

Had a great time, as some of us hadn't done axe throwing before, but two of us had, we were all treated the same, so we were all on same level, Pree our instructor was engaging, funny, skilful and made us all feel like we were capable. He was also teaching a blind person how to axe throw in the next lane, and showed incredible kindness, patience and was not in the least patronising, was a pleasure to witness. The activity was fun, goof choice of games to play other than just hitting a plain target and the price and place were excellent. We will recommend and we will return! Also did y9ou find any red sunglasses there? They are mine!

Went in not knowing what to expect.especially being a wheelchair user. Had an amazing time. The guy running it was really cool and helpful giving tip/help in a comfortable way WILL DEFINITELY BE GOING BACK AND WOULD RECOMMEND

Booked for a birthday day out. Pree was a fantastic host, knowledgeable and funny and remembered my brothers from a previous session and made the day feel very personal. The interactive game boards are brilliant, add a real variety of competitive fun. It's great to be encouraged to get some photos at the end. Really enjoyable activity, handy location being in town and set the tone for a great day out.

Great experience, got to come back for that axe competition, Pree was a great instructor and a great guy, 100% would recommend

Spotted this venue when having a look around the shopping centre and from the moment we entered we were treated with complete courtesy and kindness we got a one on one demo with an amazing member of staff and had a fantastic time would recommend to anyone interested in trying this out or who’s just a little curious

If you haven't tried it, I would highly recommend it, Pree was a excellent instructor, turning me from a total novice into a super axe thrower! It was fun and there was pleanty of time to enjoy the experience Will definitely go again

Had an amazing time at the Axe Factor today with my boyfriend for his birthday. The guy who took us through the safety, rules etc was so friendly and very helpful. He was always around if you needed help and often gave tips to help you. Would definitely recommend visiting.

First time trying Axe Throwing and had a really good experience at The Axe Factor. The assistant (sorry I forgot your name) was super helpful, kind and patient and really went out of his way to set my mind at ease. (I was slightly overwhelmed). It’s a nice set up with two booths, really friendly staff and a fun experience. Will be looking to return to do again. Sasha

We had such an amazing time. The staff were so lovely and fun, and they had their hands full with our party. We used the walk in service which was priced brilliantly, you really get your monies worth. We visited here for my partners birthday, there isn’t much to do in Shrewsbury town centre at the moment and this is great. We have been axe throwing before but this has an interactive kind scoring system and so this makes it easier! The staff are friendly and there is a bar here too! Worth a visit if you want an activity in the town!

First time axe throwing and what a great experience we had. From the beginning to the end the staff member (sorry didn’t get a name) was amazing explained everything and was around to make sure we had lots of fun. We will definitely be giving this ago again and hope we find another place as great

This was our first time going axe throwing at this company and it was the best experience we had. We had the pleasure of having Pree guide us and he is outstanding! We have experienced Pree’s customer service in the past at a different axe throwing so we were over the moon to see him here and it was heart warming knowing he’s doing what he enjoys again. Pree was really understanding and patient as one of us was finding it difficult, but he is phenomenal at his job and made us feel comfortable and enjoy it. I can’t praise Pree enough, he enjoys his job and you can see that with his service, the axe factor are lucky to have him! The interactive games are a nice touch and make it more fun. We will definitely be back again, thank you so much Pree!
