Hannah guided through the Birmingham city centre with enthusiasm and knowledge. She cheekily explained Pigeon Park and The Floozy in the Jacuzzi. The theatre, the library, the statues, the canal. All well viewed and appreciated! Thanks to Hannah!! Highly recommended!!
We had spent our week in Birmingham mostly on Broad Street, and this tour provided a great perspective of the city center and many interesting (and surprising!) facts about Birmingham history. Alex was an excellent tour guide — animated and funny and a wealth of information about Birmingham and the Midlands. Highly recommend carving out 90 minutes for this gem!
Recommended! Our guide, Hannah, was friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. It was good to learn about the history of the city, how it was shaped by the industrial revolution and became the large city it is today, the recent past (and present) was included, from 'Black Sabbath' to 'HS2'.
Our guide, Hannah, was fantastic. She was knowledgable, welcoming, friendly, funny and her enthusiasm for her city shone through .
We booked a walking tour of Birmingham City centre. Hannah, our guide, was very kind and she described every monument or building in details. She also told us some interesting anectodes or curiosities about the city. We had our backpacks with us, so she didn't rush and she stopped at places where we could have a little rest. Thank you Hannah!! 😊
Very interesting tour with Hannah, who was an excellent guide.
Pete was an excellent guide. He took us to lots of interesting places and explained the history. It's a fascinating city. Highly recommended.
Birmingham has a lot to be proud of and this tour gives you a taste of what is around you. Excellent and knowledgeable guide!
Hannah was great very informative
Very knowledgeable guide. Saw a lot in a short period of time and learned the history of this exciting city and its people. Good tour.
This is a very easy walking tour which provides a good overview of the origins of Birmingham and some of the city’s specific areas (financial, municipal, culture, etc). Our guide, Peter, brought it to life extremely well and pitched it well for the diverse group that we were in. He pointed out a few places that we might want to visit on our own after the tour concluded. Highly recommended.
Diction of the Leader is very clear. Pace of walking not taxing. Ably answered any questions from group members.
Had a great time on my tour with Pete! A true Brummie, who showed us the highlights of Birmingham and gave us so many interesting stories and history!
This was easy walking, and ideal for a visitor to Birmingham who wants to learn about the City. Our superb guide was Radek, who was very informative.
Many thanks to Radek, brilliant guide. Very enthusiastic, and very informative. We really enjoyed this tour. He's passionate about his role as tour guide. Thoroughly recommend.
Hannah was an amazing guide. She knew so many things about the city and she was very funny while explaining them. Would definitely recommend!
The starting point was quite crowded, so I appreciated the guide’s bright orange coat! The tour was well paced, and there were enough stops to give our feet some rests along the way . I learned lots about Birmingham’s history and architecture. It was good to finish the tour right outside a pub/cafe!
We had a lovely tour of the city centre. Alex our guide was full of information and enthusiastic.
Great guide to the centre of Birmingham - interesting history of the 3 main squares and bits in between. Lovely guide who knew her history. Definitely recommend to get your bearings of the city centre and some facts along the way.
Alex provided a very interesting, informative and amusing tour. She was very friendly, talkative, but professional. The tour was about the right length and distance to ensure that everyone stayed engaged. Highly recommended.
Dee was a great guide, very knowledgeable, happy to answer our questions and threw in some humour for good measure. It was quite clear she loved taking the tours and her city. Great value for money and would definitely recommend. Thanks Dee
We had Dee as our guide around the city and it was great. She was knowledgeable and entertaining. We learnt a lot about Birmingham’s history even though I live in Birmingham! Definitely can recommend the tour
Absolutely brilliant! Alex was an amazing tour guide, she gave a great mix on knowledge plus humour. It was just me and my wife on the tour so it was very nice that Alex was able to keep her professional composure while also dabbling humour and asking more about us as well. Highly recommend taking this tour, you won’t regret it and I’m sure Alex will guarantee you a great time!
Great experience with a friendly knowledgeable guide. How put his own personality into the tour.
Great way to be introduced to Birmingham. The tour guide was great at relaying the history and culture of the city. Also provided us recommendations for what to do in free time.
Alex was knowledgeable, funny, interesting & curious. We really enjoyed the walk & will recommend it.
The meeting: pick up place was not described well. It should’ve said Saint Phillips instead of Birmingham Castle. My Uber dropped me at the wrong space however it was a five minute walk and I hopped on a few minutes late and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Will always be a great memory of my Birmingham trip.
I didn't know what to expect but this tour was great. Our guide Richard was fab, really knowledgeable, funny & a natural communicator. I learned a lot about Birmingham's history & that's made me want to find out more. Excellent value for money.
Peter was very knowledgeable, explained the history of the city and some curiosity’s about the place.
Great tour guide, very knowledgeable, very informative, happy to answer all questions. Really good short walk.
Great tour of Birmingham sites and history with Hannah. Well presented and fun to talk with.
We had an excellent walking tour in Birmingham yesterday. Our guide was very knowledgeable and made sure everyone in the group was able to hear her information. I would recommend.
Very informative with a great guide. Hannah was very knowledgeable and shared a very balanced view of Birmingham.
Our guide, Alex, was friendly and helpful. She shared some interesting parts of the city, including an unscheduled visit to the cathedral as we were a small group. The history of the buildings - including those that are no longer there - was fascinating. The "Council House", "Town Hall" and "Victoria Square" are lovely - as is "pigeon park"!!
Having never visited Birmingham, we decided to start our exploration of the city with this tour, and we were so pleased we did. Our guide was local, friendly, down to earth and clearly very proud of her city. We really appreciated getting an overview of the city's history and the stories shared as we walked. A great way to start a visit to Birmingham.
Very interesting and informative. Guide was friendly and happy to answer questions. We learned a great deal about the origins of the city and how it Grew to become the centre of the industrial revolution.
A relaxed walk pausing to cover the many aspects of Birmingham’s history and allowing time to take in the buildings.
Pete was a very informative, knowledgeable and entertaining guide. Historical, architectural and current affairs of the city were all mentioned during the tour. Easily walkable ending at the canal.
Arthur the guide was exceptional with his knowledge, wit and charm. He made visiting Birmingham a true treat. I enjoyed visiting the city with his guidance. Well worth the price.
We were lucky enough to have a small tour group on our walking tour of Birmingham. Radek and Alex were engaging and shared lots of interesting insights as we wound our way through the various historic and interesting squares, buildings and points of interest. Although my husband had lived in Birmingham we learnt lots of additional and interesting information about the city’s history. Would recommend this walking tour if you are looking for an interesting and informative understanding of the city.
Dee knows a lot about Birmingham, she's also very kind. We enjoyed the tour a lot!

Really informative and knowledgeable guide. Recommended a couple of things to visit that we hadn't thought of. Clearly enjoys running a tour. Would recommend.
Fortunately a rare fine morning. Always good to have an ex teacher as a guide with a good speaking manner. Tout started with 6 but attracted more en route. Covered 5or 6 key aspects of central Birmingham during the 90 minute walk. Very good value.
A great way of learning about Birmingham’s history and evolution in just a couple of hours and from an excellent guide.
Really informative tour with Phil. I know Birmingham a little and was great to learn more about its history and also to have things pointed out that I've been walking past for years!
