chocolate box village. Service at bar and in morning quite slow. Coffee in morning Luke warm. Poor sausage and bacon hard. Mushroom not particularly nice. Room smelt foisty. Had to leave windows open. Floor and windowsill had bits all over it and a used toilet roll inner left on floor in bathroom and toilet paper in toilet. No not us. Had a seafood platter lunchtime which the cod cheeks were over cooked chewy. Evening meal spot on. And service. Bed comfortable and pillows. Needs tweaks.

Very friendly welcoming hotel. Food Very good and well presented. Room Very comfortable well equipped and decorated. Staff very helpful and nothing was a problem even my wife's requested butter sizzled toast went down with a smile and laughter from the kitchen. Only disappointed no local ales available. Car Park had no lights so arriving in the dark is a problem, needed a torch.

We've been here twice for Sunday lunch. It's a lovely place with friendly and helpful staff, the roast dinners are excellent and there's a decent choice of other food too. Also there's a good selection of real ales in good condition. It's not cheap but it's worth every penny.

Experience a warm, friendly family like feel at this beautiful pub in the gorgeous countryside. We chose this pub as our wedding reception venue and guests stayed over in the beautiful rooms. Everything was perfect and the staff are incredible especially Sylwia the manager, Marcia and Amber! My family haven't stopped talking about the food which was incredible thanks to the chefs, Dawid, pav, josh and Karolina If you are looking for a relaxing pub in the countryside with a family feel, children friendly and a warm welcome, this is the pub for you!
