The worst bed I've ever slept on. I like a firm mattress but that was like sleeping on concrete. Rock solid pillows too. Very old outdated rooms. Couldn't have a coffee in the room as the kettle was full of limescale with no filter on the kettle. Also very small bathroom. We visited the "spa" £5 charge per person. Never had to pay extra to use hotel facilities before, but not too badly priced. All the lockers were broke. The pool was cold, hot tub jets were poor. Staff were friendly. Breakfast - not worth £17.50 ridiculous over priced!! Buffet style full English, okay-ish food, egg were inedible. Raw croissants. Dirty glasses for juice. Coffee was weak. I wouldn't recommend this hotel, nor will I stay here again.

Really helpful staff - I was running late for breakfast and rushing to go to work… and Manuel prepared and put some food aside for me. He went above and beyond which was such a sweet thing to do. I stay in hotels with work so I’ll definitely be booking this place again! Please give Manuel a gold star and reward for his hard efforts :)
Didn't have fridge in room. Didn't have room service available had to go and get plates myself. The WiFi doesnt work and I had no service. Leaks from the ceiling. No option for air con in room, lucky its cooler on our stay. VERY VERY DIRTY, the corridors, the plates in restaurant (had to order out), the food here isnt variable and so so expensive, sat us at a dirty table (left and ordered food at a restaurant) No plug near bed to charge up phones The bed has black hairs on the bed, I am blonde. And the pillows are so firm and felt like I had whiplash. Cheeky to comment but no complimentary biscuits. Doesn't feel welcoming. You can hear so much noise no idea if from other rooms or outside. Med size room enough room for me and child. Haven't had breakfast yet but doubt that will be any better for £17.50 I want those plates cleaned haha. The bedside table doesnt have draws and can not open. Unsure of the pool area as child wants to use but read other comments about it not being clean so hopefully this doesnt effect her experience as she is excited to use. So yeah overall will not come again
Had my wedding here on 20th june 2026 and I must say totally amazing. How i expected my wedding day to be let me say it was even better. The staff totally made me and my husband feel like a king and queen.Erin is totally amazing and Ellie who looked after me on the day well I cant really put into words as words dont seem to be enough. She needed a medal totally outstanding amazing. The bar manager was so so great couldn't do enough for us. Front of house was just amazing and the chef well the food everyone talked about it i take my hat of to you. I can honestly say best food ever. The tomato soup omg everyone needs to try it i would of been happy to bring it home. If anyone is thinking of getting married this is the place to go. Our Wedding was just perfect and even better than that.
Stayed on a Tuesday and although quiet this was an excellent hotel well maintained with an excellent menu. I couldn’t fault the staff and although the hotel is obviously previously part of a chain it was still in great condition. The gym was basic but large. All spotlessly clean. Evening food again was excellent. Breakfast had lots of choice and the full English would put to shame a lot of the more prestigious chains breakfasts. Location looks good and somewhere hoped with better weather is upon us that can be explored. Somewhere I will stay again!
