Very nice place in a lovely posh English village. The rooms are clean, and it’s a large resort-style hotel. However don’t forget to bring your own drinking water, as the tap water isn’t great.

The hotel is beautiful and looks really elegant, but the rooms, although spotless, are tired and could do with some updating. Some of the 'older' aspects could be classed as charming, but woul quickly loose it's charm, like the room door lock, which is secured by an old fashioned lock that takes a bit of jiggling to work. The receptionists I met were absolutely brilliant and had the most professional but friendly approach, they are to be commended and the outside surroundings are really pretty.
It was adequate for our needs and sensibly priced - £75 for the two of us. The ground floor room was a decent size and we got a good night's sleep. Our dogs settled straight away. Breakfast options were limited (no English Breakfast options) and there was no lighting in the car park when we arrived back. For someone with a knee replacement who wears varifocals it's not ideal. The staff were friendly enough. We were there to visit family and then Leicester Speedway at Beaumont Park. Quorn is a typical English village and was also very clean. Plenty of pubs and places to eat and a park for our dogs to run close by, always a bonus. It has seen better days but we would stay there again as it was central to all our needs.
Very spacious room. Good breakfast choice from continental to full English. Disappointed that no lunch or evening meals are available. Local facilities for food withing walking distance, pub food, Italian, Indian. The staff at the hotel are very pleasant and helpful. Beds are very comfortable and spacious.
I stayed here for work, and booked through our travel company. On balance my stay was okay for a quick overnight trip. Its realistically more a 3* hotel which might help manage expectations better. The breakfast menu stated aswell as a cooked breakfast there were pancakes, waffles & pastries which were not available. The breakfast room was absolutely freezing, I ate and ran back to my room for another cup of tea. Continental breakfast is essentially cereal or toast it was lacking any real fresh element (berries were in some very thick jelly like syrup)
