Leonardo Hotel East Midlands Airport

Stayed here the night before our 0610 flight to the Canary Islands. Arrived just before 2pm and enjoyed a free drink in the bar as our room wasn’t quite ready (although we weren’t in a rush as we were already in holiday mode!). Didn’t appear to be a lift so if you are not good with stairs make sure you ask for a ground level room although concierge did offer to carry our bags. We did decline as we were pretty sure they’d not want to come and get them again at 3am when we left! Just the one flight of stairs and very manageable for us. We ate in the bar in the evening - very nice. As an Advantage Club member we got 15% off our bill, so that is definitely worth doing. Can’t fault it - would definitely stay again here if flying from EMA again and would definitely entertain their other venues when travelling. Great value and great experience,

Room and general service fantastic, spacious room for the 3 of us ( 2 adults, 1 child) Ample facilities on site and being a short walk to the airport is so massively convenient. Here comes the but. The food in the restaurant - shocking is putting it politely. My son ordered chicken strips, what he received was what I can only describe as an iceland chicken burger cut into slices. Both mine and the wives meals were equally well below par for the prices

Came for Download, we were very well catered for! Got some festival bits in our room (ponchos, ear plugs), food and bar were available until the early hours of the morning, staff were all knowledgeable and friendly. Very close to the festival itself, walkable distance, will almost certainly be back next year!

Perfect, just perfect for the start of our holiday. Our first time flying from East Midlands airport. We chose this hotel as it offers parking for the duration of the holiday and it's within walking of the airport check in. Our room was very clean and comfy. Not one, but two double beds. The bathroom and shower were very good too. Breakfast was great, lots to choose from, basically an all you can eat. Best to pay on arrival for breakfast, you get it a bit cheaper. Our first time certainly won't be our last time based on our first time.
