We stayed here for our wedding anniversary last weekend with my mother in law accompanying. Whilst the friendly staff, location, facilities & spacious rooms were all great...there was a few things that needed improvement. Our executive premium room in 122, myself husband & small dog stayed in was lovely on 1st inspection, for the price paid & upgraded spec there was a few niggles. Scuffs & scratches on paintwork on walls & ceiling need attention, the corner sofa needs cleaning underneath cushions before every stay as there was old food/crumbs under each that had been missed from cleaners. One of the bedside reading lights was a warm bulb & the other was a cool bulb so didn't match, the pillows were too soft & though a pillow menu was advertised & requested on booking - we expected a choice to be in the room already without having to ask reception. The aircon may need servicing as it didn't get cool enough on the lowest setting & therefore had to rely on opening the windows throughout our stay (my mother in laws one in room 125 however worked perfectly). The bathroom was of good cleanliness & standard, however the vanity mirror mounted on the wall was very loose & damage to the wall using this from previous guests needs attention as this was quite unsightly & unsafe. Breakfast choice & quality was fantastic & though a good open space to enjoy with our dog, the small section doesn't provide enough tables for 3 or more eating (apart from 2 sofas which you can't feasibly eat at - only 1, 4 seater table was available) so eating as a 3 person was tricky as the 2nd morning one person had taken up the only 4 seater table meaning we had to use a table in the bar/pool table area away from main breakfast area. We suggest that when there is only a small section for dog owners to eat in, hotel staff advise non dog owner guests to be seated only in the main dining restaurant section & leave this area free. Also more 3-4 seater tables are needed in case more than one family come to breakfast at the same time. Not enough knives & forks or spare napkins provided either so had to go ask. On check out day, as we were in the process of packing our car between our 2 seperate rooms - the cleaners had entered my mother in laws room & started cleaning early way before the 11am check out time which we found unprofessional. Cleaners should only be entering a room to strip down & clean for the next guests AFTER full check out of previous guest when informed by reception. This left my mother in law quite uncomfortable & made for an awkward experience when she needed to re-enter to use the bathroom before we left. Regardless of mentioned above we would definitely return & recommend to friends & family but would appreciate improvements implemented.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel from start to finish. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. A special mention goes to Jass, who was incredibly attentive, helpful, and always went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Their excellent customer service really made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you to the whole team for a fantastic experience. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to others
Without a doubt, this was one of the worst venue experiences I’ve ever had. To be absolutely clear, this was not the fault of the event organisers—they handled a very difficult situation as best they could. The responsibility lies entirely with the venue. The venue advertised air conditioning, but it was completely ineffective and was blowing hot air instead of cooling the room. With 500+ people packed inside, the hall became unbearably hot, humid, and suffocating. There was little to no effective ventilation, and the temperature quickly became unbearable. Throughout the event, people were constantly leaving the hall just to get a breath of fresh air because it was so hot and stuffy inside. It became difficult to sit through the sessions, and many attendees were visibly struggling with the conditions. It was astonishing that a venue would continue hosting an event of this size without resolving such a serious issue. Basic health, safety, and comfort should be the minimum standard for any venue. Instead, hundreds of guests were left enduring conditions that should never have been allowed to happen. This completely overshadowed what should have been an enjoyable event. I would strongly advise anyone planning a large event to avoid this venue until they can demonstrate that their facilities are fit for purpose. Based on my experience, I would never book this venue and cannot recommend it to anyone.
A delightful stay at the Holiday Inn in Leicester. The staff were absolutely brilliant and very helpful. The room was very clean and in a very quiet part of the building. No issues. Will definitely stay here again in future if need be. Thank you so much. Recommended.
