Absolutely beautiful hotel. I had to move here around 9pm due to an issue with another local hotel who's air conditioning was not working. The staff are so friendly. The room was spotless. I got room service and got the salmon and oh my goodness it was delicious. Probably best room service I've had (and I travel a lot for work so get it a fair bit). Hotel in a perfect location for the conference centre. 3 mins walk. Nice and quiet too. I'm so glad I had to move hotels as this was absolutely perfect.

Stayed here with my daughter for one night after going to a concert at the arena and so glad we did. Fantastic location for arena and shopping. Parking right underneath the hotel. Smooth check-in and friendly reception staff. Room was perfect. Plenty of space, two double beds, air conditioning (very welcome in heat wave). Breakfast was excellent, kitchen and serving staff amazing. Needed some urgent toiletries and reception staff very helpful. If I got to a concert at the arena again will definitely be staying again! Oh and thanks to Jenny for making our room clean and welcoming :)
We’ve stayed here many nights and have been so well looked after. The rooms and lounge are great. The staff is wonderful! Breakfast is a delight and the location is excellent. Thank you to all the amazing staff for helping us so much during our stays while we explored the area and attended to some unexpected medical appointments. We will always choose this hotel when in Birmingham!
I stayed at this hotel from April 17 to April 20, and overall I had a very satisfying experience. First of all, I would like to commend the housekeeping team for maintaining an exceptionally high standard of cleanliness. In particular, I would like to recognize one staff member who stood out for their excellent work. I would also like to express my appreciation to the front desk staff—Mr. Ash, Mr. Seano, and Mr. Finn. All three were incredibly professional, friendly, and attentive. They answered every question clearly and helpfully, which made my stay much more comfortable. I am truly grateful for their outstanding service. I would, however, like to raise one point for improvement. During weekdays, only one coffee machine was available at breakfast. Given the number of guests, this caused unnecessary delays and affected guests’ schedules. I hope the hotel can consider improving this arrangement. Overall, I am very pleased with my stay, especially the front desk and housekeeping staff. I would like to share this feedback with the hotel management. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
I was intending to post a 5 star review but then 15 days later I receive a letter from UKPC for a parking charge. I only parked in their car park underneath the hotel because the hotel staff told me it was safer there with my new car. I then moved the car into their car park as recommended to do so. Having contacted the hotel today after getting a penalty charge notice, the receptionist told me maybe its because I was parked in a numbered bay as if I’m meant to know this at midnight when I moved my car into their car park. No staff member told me this at that time when I was told to park it downstairs and the receptionist talked as if I’m just supposed to know this or to just accept it……If it’s that important (ie where you have to park in a massive underground car park that was virtually empty..)….then surely the receptionist should bring this up for ALL customers at the time of checking in …to avoid this nonsense in the first place. I can only say this feels to me like a massive money making scam to be sent a penalty notice for £60.00 some 15 days later. I had paid for my car park stay on the way out but thats not been accepted because it was in a "registered bay". How am I meant to know this its not as if the bay had a name on it? I simply cannot recommend a hotel where the hotel staff don’t tell you where you are meant to park in a massive multi storey car park and then fob you off afterwards when you complain …as if it the car park has nothing to do with them… sorry but your staff told me to park there in the first place and did not tell me where to park (ie in area x or y of the damn car park).. wherever that is…. Please don’t insult me by saying there are signs around the hotel lobby or elsewhere in the car park…..yes everyone is going to look at those when they check in for the first time ever ..of course! Ps I am IHG platinum Elite so ..Ive stayed in my fair share of IHG hotels…and know one or two things about parking! …I can’t recommend this hotel due to parking chaos...and the cost! Id rather stay outside of town with free parking and none of this nonsense.
