Had a one night stay the location was perfect and the view from the bedroom of the bridge was perfect had breakfast the following morning which was freshly cooked and very tasty if you are in the area would recommend either for some food or a short stay in one of the rooms they have available
No better place to stay if you want to be centrally located, all museums within walking distance, but be prepared for up and down terrain if you do, not a stroll by any means. Private parking within 500yds so if you prefer you can drive to the attractions, buy a plus pass if you want to visit them all, 2 days will do a whirlwind tour 3 days is better. The Thai restaurant is 5 minutes walk down the hill and is exceptional.
I stayed here a few months ago (June 2023) for a single night and I highly rate them. I flew overnight from Texas to Manchester and then drove down to Ironbridge to spend the night. The booking process was easy and the staff responded to both my emails and a telephone call promptly. When I arrived, they greeted me with a happy smile and gave me all the information I needed about staying there, parking and breakfast. I told them what I wanted for breakfast the next morning and they reserved me the prime spot table in the window facing the bridge. True customer service. The room was clean and tidy and I chose to have one facing the church. It was quiet and I slept soundly following my previous red eye flight. I cannot recommend these people enough. The breakfast was great too. I will most certainly stay here again.
This place is in a fantastic location, right on the bridge in the middle of all the shops and restaurants. The room was full of fabulous treats (cake, wine, biscuits, coffee, tea and juice) plus water and toiletries. Shower was lovely, hot and powerful. There was an iron, ironing board, boot stand and hairdryer. Room (double) was an average size for a building of this type and age. Staff were amazing and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and they took time to come over each morning and check in about your night. Breakfast was fantastic. Huge amount of choice from continental to full English. Cereals, juice etc were self service and you could access this as much as you liked. The quality of ingredients with the way in which it is was cooked and presented was great.Hardly anything I'd change but I would of loved a little bit of net or voile for privacy from the top of the bottom window. Sometimes we wanted the room to allow in the daylight but didn't want to be so on show. Cleaners need to check the windows, ours were very webby and the web was full of little flies.
