Ac Hotel By Marriott Birmingham

My stay at the AC Hotel was disappointing. The pillows on the bed were rough as was ths mattress. The TV wasn't working and so we ended up having to get a new room. The service from the staff was exemplary a special call out to Becky she quickly got us a new room as at that time of night maintenance wouldn't be able to come. Wonderful location but improvements needs to be made to both the mattress and the pillows especially at that price.

The AC Hotel's greatest strength 💪 is it's PRIME location, in the centre of Birmingham City. It's a 10-minute walk from the Bullring Grand Central Train station. Most times I go out for my meetings, I arrived earlier at the train station by walking from the hotel, than my friends who took uber. Shopping 🛍 for groceries is next door 🚪 to the hotel because of the TESCO Express just about 10 metres away. It's an exquisite and exhilarating experience, particularly, in the night, when everyone comes out to soak in the fabulous 👌 nightlife of Birmingham City Centre. I was positively embarrassed, favoured, and pampered by the kitchen every morning, led Constantina, Reece, Isabella, and Francies. These ladies carry exceptional and excellent courtesies. I humbled myself at all times under their mentorship, and tutorship, on the diverse cuisines and appetising delicacies served at every breakfast. The porters too were so courteous and kind in helping me when at two different occasions l lost the key cards to my room. Constantina promised me that the hotel has unfathomable ways of celebrating 🍾 birthdays if I choose to host my birthday 🎂 there (though, they would have to wait till next year, to fulfill their mouth-watering birthday promises). I'm humbled and flattered by the palatial hospitality of all the staff, from porters, to the kitchen, and the cleaners.

Although we only stayed for one night, we were really impressed with the service at the AC Marriott Birmingham. A special thank you to Bogdan and Talar on reception, who gave us such a warm welcome and made check-in quick and seamless. Their friendly and professional attitude made a fantastic first impression. We’d also like to thank Dumi from housekeeping. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully prepared, which made our short stay all the more enjoyable. The breakfast team was lovely, especially Constantina. She was friendly, engaging, and genuinely took the time to chat with us, creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It’s clear the team takes great pride in what they do, and we’d happily stay here again when we’re next in Birmingham. Thanks! Marco C.

Location is very good, close to the station and many restaurants around the hotel. The hotel itself is ok. Room was spacious. Still, a few things to have in mind: They give one mini water bottle per day, and forgot to add mine 2 days. Breakfast is not worth it. Food is ok but the coffee shop in the entrance is a much better option. And the worst part, I had to leave a day earlier and the hotel charged me anyways as they must “charge the last night”. Even being a Marriott member didn’t help, or raising the issue to the management.
