Beautiful hotel, with very obliging staff and excellent housekeeping service. Just across the road from the Guggenheim Bilbao and 15 minute walk into the old town. I booked an internal room but would recommend spending the extra on an external room. Would definitely stay again.
This is not a 5 star hotel. That should be said. They upcharge for everything, the service is mediocre, and giving people free water and chocolate doesn't make you an 5 star. I personally would not stay here again. The location is great if you are in Bilbao to see the Guggenheim. In such a beautiful and loving city, I'm sure there are better accomodations to make you feel welcome. It was clean and nice. 4 stars for a good 4 star hotel.
We spent a weekend at The Artist hotel and everything was wonderful. It is located right next to the Guggenheim, a must-see in Bilbao. It is also just a short walk from the Old Town, where we went to taste the famous pintxos. Additionally, we hired RiojaBlack for our transfer to the hotel, taking the experience to the next level. Both the vehicle and the driver provide a service that exceeds expectations. They know the area perfectly, which gives a feeling of complete trust and security. Without a doubt, the best car service in the north of Spain!

We had an early flight out of Bilbao after a vacation in Basque Country and decided to spend our last day in Bilbao and see the Guggenheim museum. We decided to stay at this hotel based on the reviews, the availability of a room for 3 people and the fact that they would help us arrange transport to the airport in the morning. Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The service was outstanding. Not only did they help us arrange transport to the airport, they also made us coffee and our daughter a hot chocolate when we were leaving at 4:45am. The staff wonderful, the air conditioning was cold and everything was exceptionally clean. The view from the rooftop bar was wonderful as well! We would definitely stay here again!
