Unusual Guided Tour In A Segway In Biarritz

Manis was a fantastic tour guide. He showed us all the sights of Biarritz and it was a very entertaining few hours. I would highly recommend Manis/this tour

This was so much fun. The guide was awesome, really caring and fun. He was very safety conscious too which was reassuring. Great way to see the beautiful Biarritz but above all else, a whole lot of fun. We are still smiling about it now. So thank you, and if you are reading this, book with confidence, you'll have a really great time. So good in fact that my daughter (aged 18) said it was the highlight of her trip. That's a fine recommendation.

We arrived at the tour at 12 and Manis gave us a full lesson on how to use the segways and ensured we were comfortable on them before we went out on the road! We had an amazing tour for a few hours. He brought us all around Biarritz stopping at points of interest and showed us Anglet too which was beautiful! The coastline was amazing and beaches were beautiful. The tour was great fun and interesting. Manis was great fun and made it really interesting. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour you get to see a lot of Biarritz and learn of the history of the place while doing it on a segway which is so relaxing !

We spent a very enjoyable day and had lots of laughs with Manis who is a great teacher and leader. The Segway’s were great fun and can be quickly mastered with Manis’ help. We travelled around Biarritz with lots of commentary from Manis in his mixture of English and French and learned a lot about the area. The family loved this trip so we would highly recommend.

Manis is a great guide. He made sure we were comfortable with the segways before setting off. He g he as a brilliant local knowledge and made the tour very interesting and enjoyable. Highly recommended.

All the information about the history of Biarritz. We asked for English Guide but unfortunately the guide spoke very bad English. We find the segways not very stable. In the Netherlands thee are better segways. But further We had a great time.

Il a été très diligent dans ses instructions et a fourni une visite très instructive. As his first name means, Manis is a persevering man who gives himself the means to get his way. And its ends are the safety of participants and those around them. Then he is clear and firm, but always benevolent. He also has the malicious look that goes with it when he remonstrates with you. In short, he is a beautiful person and the tour was pleasant. As for the handling of the gyropod, it’s a different story: to each its sensations (or not). But after my bowl, I understood and finally found my pleasure...

With Manis' good advice, it was off to a 2h tour through Biarritz and its history in gyropod. Machine easy to tame, the first moments a little stressful but we get used to it quickly. A great ride with adequate time. Manis answers all questions with pleasure and likes to pass on. Little extra on 1 stop Basque ball, and several great views. I recommend this unusual visit. First experience with these mini gyropods (we had already tested but on a larger version). After a quick takeover, we left for this 2h walk to take an unusual tour of Biarritz with a magnificent weather. Frankly very nice. Manis is careful about our safety. It gives all the explanations to understand what we see on our journey (and much more). Do not hesitate to ask him questions, he will be happy to answer them (especially on surfing...). I think that depending on the audience, he adapts the course to avoid being stuck in a situation. The gyropod is a real way to walk and walk for miles while remaining fun and relaxed. We highly recommend this activity with Manis who will make you spend a very pleasant time. We were lucky to be able to share a friendly moment with him then in front of a few bubbles. Thank you Manis for this afternoon that opened our stay here in the most beautiful way (and thank you for all your anecdotes about Basque culture).

Walk made on July 9, 2022 under a beautiful sky!:) Good pedagogy to feel good for the 120 minute walk. We were a small group and completely new, with difficulties for my cousin... And yet the ride was really interesting on the information of the city of Biarritz... To do to discover the city and the gyropod!!:)

What better way to visit a city than by gyropod! Fun and unusual experience with an original means of transport and a friendly guide that take you both to the 4 corners of the city through the panoramic views, heritage and eras that make the history of Biarritz!

It is a very fun activity to do as a family and the best way to visit the city. The guide first taught us how to handle the segway well and then taught us all the main corners of Biarritz. He was with us for 2 hours, always watching over us and that we didn't fall or anything happened. He also made us photos and a video. The only downside (and I feel sorry for him because he’s such a nice guy) is that we had asked for guidance in Spanish and he barely spoke Spanish. We had to understand how we could with the little French we know. Otherwise, an experience of 10.
