Really enjoyed our stay at the Windsor. The rooms are on the smaller side but everything is clean, comfortable and well kept, no complaints there. The breakfast the next morning was genuinely one of the best we had on the whole trip, which was a lovely way to start the day.
The team at the front desk were warm and welcoming throughout. It's a little on the pricier side for what it is, but it's peak season in Biarritz so that's to be expected. The location is great, quiet, relaxed, and with views of the beach, it's a perfect spot for a couple looking for somewhere peaceful to stay.
We'll definitely be back next time we're in Biarritz.
Hotel and rooms pretty shabby but more importantly construction cranes and noise completely made booking an expensive ocean view a poor option. Once seeing the room I pointed out this was a problem but they would not bend on price or offer another room
Excellent location, rooms withj a view of the ocean, fabulous, delicious breakfast, great and helpful staff, I highly recommend it. It is quiet, one sleeps very well at this hotel.
We stayed three days, and were very happy with the hotel. Location is perfect, near the beach and the commercial area, the rooms were nice and functional; no noise and well maintained. And the service was very nice and efficient, particularly the women in reception made check in and out easy and fast. Breakfast was also good, with many choices. And the view to the sea was spectacular around the sunset. We will be back.
Overall very good. Shower in room on the 7th floor has no pressure nor constant temperature. Slippers in the room would be a nice touch. A bit small. You can’t close the bathroom door when the toilet seat is closed. Only one narrow lift to serve 7 floors. Amazing view from the room.
Parking is not included in the hotel, will cost 25 Euros per day at Casino parking.
