Great guide (or two guides I should say!!) Rob and his trusty 4 legged companion Gilbert were both delightful :) Rob welcomed any and all questions while keeping the atmosphere light and fun but serious at times when talking about the darker parts of history. Including Gilbert’s photo for your viewing pleasure!! :)

Niyema was excellent - very knowledgeable, entertaining and catered for everyone with stories and information. She was very engaging and provided just the right amount of information without overloading. Also had plenty of time to take in the sites, wander through the memorial - never felt rushed or unable to take everything in. Highly recommend!!
Did the tour with Jules, she did an amazing job, very intelligent . Learned so much about Berlin. Would definitely recommend her.
Jr was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and very well spoken. Starting your stay in Berlin with a walking tour is the way to go! Have fun!
We recently did the Welcome to Berlin Walkative tour with Ru as our guide and he was absolutely fantastic. The tour was interesting, sad in places but Ru made it such a great experience with his knowledge about the history of the city. Absolutely recommend if you're lucky enough to visit this amazingly vibrant city!
Tom and Gilbert were amazing guides! Must do for anyone visiting the city for the first time, especially for history buffs.
Have done walking tours everywhere in the world. Did one with the Scottish tour guide Ru, and have been one of the best a have had, truly amazing.
Will was an amazing tour guide! So knowledgable and entertaining. Learned to much in so little time!
Highly recommend this walking tour, Will was our guide who was english - had amazing experience, knowledge and covered all the history facts too. The sites we covered in 3 hours was simply brilliant.
Welcome Tour Berlin in English with Rob. Really great. Rob studied history, really knowledgeable about historical context Germany & neighbouring countries & political & social developments within. All questions welcome & his knowledge generously shared. A super afternoon walking around key landmarks Berlin with great history & story-telling.
It was a very interesting and (thankfully) deeper introduction to Berlin than expected. In addition to Berlin's history, JR (or RJ? sorry I can't remember anymore) gave us great tips regarding free museums (and we did visit some of them and weren't disappointed). Be prepared that the tour does not end where it starts and it requires stamina :-)
I very much enjoyed this tour. Our guide Will was terrific. He knows his history and shared the information in a way that was engaging and informative. We highly recommend this tour. It stops at all the major points of interest in the area. David
A great walking tour , felt like it flew by even though it was 3 hours . Chris from Toronto was an amazing guide and very knowledgeable having been a guide here for 7 years . Answered all questions and has a great was of conveying the core of Berlin and its history.
Took 2 tours with them and both were great! Welcome to Berlin with Anika and alternative Berlin with Canadian Chris. The tours are very interesting and the guides were just terrific Don’t miss out
Will was amazing this morning, he took us to all the sights we needed to see Was going to go on the bus tour but this was so much better than any bus tour I’ve been on in other cities A must if you are in Berlin
What an outstanding tour! Mary was excellent and I loved all the personal stories and how she made us think. I love these tours and the fact each guide brings something different to the tour. In case Trip Advisor doesn’t allow me to do a second review I must also comment in Canadian Chris who gave an excellent tour too on Under the Swastika. Both are what your guises should be - friendly, knowledgeable and engaging.
Really good guide! Our guide was Scottish, very passionate and didactic. Right amount of info to have an idea of Berlin’s history. Highly recommend
The top tour operator Marysia (Mary) is a inspired guide. I highly recommend a walk with her, a lot of knowledge about the history of the city and more
This is a must do for any visitor to Berlin. Our guide Jules Graf was knowledgeable, fun, answered all questions and made the three hours pass quickly. My wife and I were sorry when it was over. The tour was only 3 miles long but it encompassed so many main sights of Berlin. This was a great experience.
We've taken many such tours in many cities and this one, led by Xavier (with apologies for a possible name misspelling) was best, by far. Simply put, there are two necessary requirements from a tour guide - content and delivery - and Xavier is second to none in general and anecdotal history knowledge delivered in a passionate, personal way.
Took a tour with Will who's a top tour operator, many suggestions for fun stuff to do outwith the tour (restaurants, pubs, clubs, musuems and parks) and a great sense of humour which makes things fun. Respects the more serious moments of German history and can tell he has a real passion for what hes tslking about. Took just over three hours but we had a few folk in group that struggled with amount of walking involved so could usually be done quicker i imagine. Took us round musuem island, memorial to murdered jews of europe, brandenburg gate plus many more. Guests would have option for break with coffee and toilet but we prefered to power on. Had a great time out today and defo worth the booking if looking to get to know the city! 😀
First- the guide Chris the Canadian 😉 best guideguy I've met! Super funny, tells super interesting stories, shows interesting perspective on the city, open and a real fan of history. I highly recommend the tour with Chris 👍
Dear mom of Moonlight Canadian Chris, With this review I want to let you know your son made an excellent tour today. He is a funny charismatic person with great storytelling skills. Totally enjoyed my time. If you are reading this, not being his mom, well you can tell this tour was worth it. Don't doubt, just go! Worth every euro. I wished I had more cash on me to give ;). Dear Chris, I wish you all the best. Hopefully I can join another tour with you on my next trip to Berlin. Shannon from Belgium
We did an excellent “Welcome to Berlin” walking tour with the guide Ru. He explained everything very well, with great richness of details and was always very friendly.
The tour went great! Javier, our guide @JAVIERFZFS, has been amazing. It has brought us a lot of knowledge of the city and has kept it interesting throughout. Open to any questions and very friendly. The final recommendations have guided us a lot in our subsequent gastronomic route. Highly recommended!!
