Fantastic tour. Our tour guide was amazing, very informative and very knowledgeable. Also put things into perspective and made it extremely relatable. The views from the dome were also fantastic. Highly recommend this tour.

Itinerary
our meeting point for the tour in the government district, before and after our tour we recommend a visit to this free, interactive museum with many important future topics such as climate, living, nutrition and technology.
Action artist Ben Wagin built the Parliament of Trees in 1990 as a memorial to the victims of the Berlin Wall and made an important contribution to remembrance. We try to introduce this place on our guided tour.
Right at the beginning of our tour we see this park. Between the Spree, the Chancellery, the Paul-Löbe-Haus, the Swiss Embassy and the day-care center of the Bundestag, the Spreebogenpark with a waterfront promenade and wide meadows has become a popular green space. From there there are great views of the Victory Column, Zoofenster, Sony Center and TV Tower.
Along with the Reichstag, the Federal Chancellery is one of the most well-known buildings in Berlin's new center. It is part of the bond of covenant. Renowned architects planned the government and parliament quarters around the Reichstag. Chancellor Angela Merkel has governed the Federal Republic of Germany from there since 2005.
The parliament building is located in the government district. The building houses the scientific services of the German Bundestag, including the parliamentary library. The hearing room (including investigative committees) is the second largest room in the German Bundestag, after the plenary hall in the Reichstag.
For the elected representatives, the Paul-Löbe-Haus is one of the most important buildings in Berlin's government district. During the session weeks, the 21 meeting rooms are used by the committees every day. The building contains 1700 rooms including offices for MPs and for the committee secretariats.
The house is the largest building complex of the Bundestag and houses various offices of the Bundestag. Some older buildings have been incorporated into the complex. Including the former Reichstag President's Palace.
The ARD Capital Studio was opened at the same time as the federal government moved from Bonn to Berlin in 1999. About 70 journalists work there and produce reports about political Berlin.
The Reichstag building is the seat of the German Bundestag. In addition to the plenary hall, the roof terrace and dome can also be visited. The visit can take place, for example, after our tour of the government district. Registration is individual.

It was the first time I made a mistake while using Klook.I had no idea that my Reichstag Dome and Government District Walking Tour in Berlin was with a German tour guide. We had a messy day tour trip, but I made it through by using a German-to-English translator app. I would recommend double-checking the trip because the title does not specity German trip Guide Only.
Great guide! Excellent knowledge of the history of the places he took us to. Explanations were delivered in a competent and humourous way.
An interesting and entertaining tour, not least because of the good and engaging presentation of the tour guide.
Everything was fine. Meeting point close to the main railway station, easy to access from everywhere. The information during the tour were rich and interesting. Explanations about the government district were illustrated with fotos from before and after the fall of the wall. It was a mix of modern and old history. Friendly knowledgable tour guide.
Good meeting point and "check-in-proccess". The guide was very entertaining and an "Original" Berlin guy! The tour was interesting but next time I would recommend that the toudrguide should focus more on the government district information instead of investing so much time on focussing the time of the time fall of the wall - interesting too, but another theme ;-)
We didn't find the group.we tried many time to contact them but no reply.first and last time with this company.
We had a private tour 👌the man that gave the tour was a historical. He knows a lot. Thank you for that.
We visited the Reichstag dome, which is the seat of the parliament of reunited Germany. The restoration of the building was completed in 1999 and the German government has been seated in the Reichstag since April 19, 1999. Before entering the Reichstag, we saw the iconic inscription in gold letters "DEM DEUTSCHEN VOLK" (meaning "To the German people"), which overlooks the monumental entrance; we learned that the metal which was used to forge the golden letters comes from 2 cannons taken from the Napoleonic troops in 1814!!! Upstairs from the entrance hall, we took an elevator to access the lower part of the dome. We were amazed by the design of the glass dome ( 40 meters in diameter and 23.5 meters high). The dome was reconstructed in glass by architect Norman Foster to symbolize the transparency of democracy. In the center of the dome, a column of mirrors directs the light into the Reichstag hall, which reflects the silhouettes of visitors. From the lower part of the dome, we were able to access the top by double-helix light steel ramps, with a slope of 7%, running along the edges of the dome. In the center of the dome, we saw interesting documents and photographs, which trace the history of Berlin and the Reichstag from its construction until today. From the roof terrace of the dome of the Reichstag building, we had wonderful 360° panoramic views of the government quarter and the monuments of Berlin !!! A MUST in Berlin!!!
Nice Tourguide with a lot of experience and a very infomative tour! He told us about his family history which gave all a personal touch.
Uncomplicated booking - nice contact and great guide. It was a very informative and also entertaining tour through the Reichstag district. Highly recommended!!!
It was a great guide with very good knowledge and he transmitted his knowledge very well to the man or woman understandably . It was very nice.
Poorly organized, no overview of the participants, little information on historical topics, very customer-unfriendly, we no longer book the city guide
Very nice, motivated and open guide. Third party Berliners with exciting stories. The tour was very informative and understandable, as well as fun designed. The organization of the entire tour was very good and the Waiting time before the Reichstag was limited despite Saturday afternoon in the best weather.
Mike Willfang’s tour (Berlin on site) was very informative and filled with amusing anecdotes. It has rarely been so much fun to experience history. Highly recommended!!!!
RENÉ is a wonderful tour guide, every minute was packed with knowledge and humor! His nonchalance made every minute an experience! The organization was also top notch. Everything went on time and without any problems, including access to the Reichstag. Thank you René for sharing your knowledge with us. A historian like you would wish for
Very interesting and informative tour by Arvid, he always had photos and pictures to hand to explain things, even personal memories flowed into his explanations, this part of the tour of the government district was worthwhile just because of the person of the tour guide, the subsequent tour of the Reichstag, seat of the Bundestag, was also very interesting thanks to the lecture by Mrs. Krolsch, the building itself is worth the visit alone, you should book in advance, the easier it is to get in, conclusion: I can only recommend this tour
Fantastic! We had a great tour from our guide Marcel. What a professional. He knew so much.
Berlin is a city rich in history, with monumental palaces, many places to see.... my advice is to book with "guides on tour" guided tours of both Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp, and a tour of the city center, have guides in all languages including Italian and guided tour packages for every taste and time... very good and engaging... which also provide useful advice on places to eat, both with local and international menus, or places to shop... remember comfortable shoes!
You've seen a lot about the parliamentary district that you wouldn't have seen. It was commented on neutrally loosely. Unfortunately, it was not clear whether you would get into the Reichstag building.
Very interesting insights and background information on the history, architecture and current events behind the (transparent ;-)) scenes of the government district.
Great tour, very entertaining. Despite rain good mood, our guide Arvid did a great job.
Highly recommended, competent and informative guidance from Daniela, very friendly! Should definitely be incorporated into the Berlin trip.
I took a guided tour of the government district years ago and was surprised: Guys it's worth it: something keeps changing. Great tour, interesting information and arrived well at the Reichstag. Registration for the Chamber tour was available..all without Waiting time. Typo!! Thank you so much!
Super interesting with a Berlin original - awesome guy :-) We were able to learn a lot of new things that could not be read in any guidebook. Also the small special Berlin “expressions” to the locations was great. Highly recommended - also the previous vote to change the leadership afterwards!
A very interesting tour of the government district with a very sympathetic guide. For 15€ per person definitely recommended.
Marcel war ein toller Guide, mit vielen spannenden Infos und sehr sympathisch. Konnte jede Frage top beantworten, daher war die Führung für uns alle eine wertvolle Bereicherung und ist sehr zu empfehlen …
Mathias Hopp led our group through the government district humorously and with a lot of local knowledge. He responded expertly to our questions and provided us with valuable current and historical information. We would have listened to him even longer without further ado.
We had a private tour Reichstag, government district with visit to the Chamber. Thomas, our tour guide was excellent and gave us a great impression. The organization and communication with Marcel before the tour was perfect and the Service excellent. It's as good as it gets. We can fully recommend Berlin contours and are already looking forward to a new tour with Berlin contours on our next Berlin stay. Thank you so much!!
We would like to thank Alex, he has guided us through this walk great. Many things we knew, from Leipzig, but some information was new, sociable, loyal to political aspects and characterized by high knowledge, a real tourgide! Highly recommended!
So the guide was top, very informative and good. But everything else when booking misleading. No glass dome visit, but the appearance is made in the description. In the description is created drr impression it is a ride, however everything is on foot. The lead went only 500 meters. No Brandenburg Gate either. Feel stupid and ripped off.
Very informative tour. Very funny packaged information about the government district. And loved it great and we learned a lot. One point deduction, since there were no more tickets for the Reichstag.
The tour was informative, impressive and entertaining. Our 12 and 15 year old sons also enjoyed it very much. Great job, great compliment!
The tour of the Parliament district was very informative, entertaining even in dry matter, questions were answered immediately. Excellent job Mathias. The presentation in the plenary hall of the Bundestag was also very informative for us and is recommended. The visit of the glass dome is of course part of it.
Very informative and perfectly organized. No long waiting times. Price / performance absolutely justified.
It was a very good tour.We learned a lot about the government district. The Führer was very competent.Could not be better. The lecture in the Reichstag and the visit to the glass dome were also wonderful. The distancing rules have always been observed. I'd be happy to.
Very informative, entertaining tour. Mathias did a great job. It was a pleasure to listen to him!
Great tour! Interesting, sympathetic and entertaining Matthias led us through the government district. There were three of us and had booked such a tour as a small group for the first time. Our conclusion: we like to do something like this again immediately. Matthias as a local guide had a lot of information for us and was able to answer all questions. First we walked through the government quarter and then he accompanied us to the Reichstag, where there was a tour in the Chamber. Afterwards we went up into the glass dome where he stayed with us to answer our questions. Really a great tour that we really enjoyed. Thank you and all the best.
everything very well organized, curious and informative.we have been to berlin many times and have yet to learn new and interesting here.great praise to our guide.very clear recommendation and two thumbs up.
Highly recommended. All due respect how unfriendly weather was hardly felt thanks to a very informative and appealing guide.
About Gay everything was super explained , we liked very much anytime gladly again. We will definitely recommend the tour to our friends and acquaintances.
The tour gives a good impression of the historical context surrounding the origin of our republic. It is also very figuratively explained how the construction of the wall came about. In the Parliament district you can learn a lot of interesting facts. The tour then includes a day before in the parliament building, which was also very pictorial and informative. The event is also very suitable for children due to the distances to be covered and the presentation.
Highly recommended! Top sequence. Very cool guide! But also savvy and every (!!) Question could be answered. They visited all the places.
Best guide ever, since exclusive insider knowledge and also incredibly friendly! Could answer every question, no matter how specific, super understandable and even had a few special tips ready. Best regards to the guide Marcel from us at Lake Constance!
Interesting guided tour with an extremely motivated and competent guide Arvid ( berlinfluesterer.de ). The lecture in the Chamber was also very instructive for us.
The guide was very funny and could answer any of my questions. The entrance to the Reichstag building went smoothly and quickly. Even the "handover" of our group in the Reichstag building to the press secretary (very competent) went without delays. And after the tour you were allowed to stay on your own as long as you wanted in and at the glass dome.
Very competent and friendly and humorous guide, very well prepared. A fun and informative tour of the government district. At the end with magnificent views of Berlin from the roof terrace and the glass dome of the Reichstag building.
