Chris was very knowledgeable about Berlin. He was personable and told us some of the behind the scene stories we would never have known. He was funny, too. Very accommodating. A very pleasurable way to spend our few hours in Berlin. I would highly recommend him.

We’ve used Withlocals numerous times, and Chris was one of the best. The tour was fun and we learnt a lot. Many interesting facts, fun anecdotes and rich history. Berlin is fascinating , and Chris made the city come to life. We all truly recommend his tour for all ages; we had a blast!

My wife and I live nearby Berlin and had two Chinese/American visitors over for whom I had mainly booked the tour. We were all extremely impressed with Juan's tour and his abilities as a guide. It turned out, even I did not know the majority of the sites and attractions myself, and - if I did - Juan always had a take on things that shone a new light on them. He is super enthusiastic, lives in Berlin for 25 years and has a profound knowledge of Berlin's history, architecture, arts, culture, libraries etc and obviously loves the city. He is very communicative, answers all your questions, also says when he does not know something (hardly the case though), and often shows you pictures on his tablet. on what places looked like in the past so you can compare them to what you see, today, so you can really get a very good impression of the changes that Berlin underwent throughout history. Juan also suggested two restaurants, one of which we went to after the tour, which was exactly the right thing and reasonably priced. This was a great 3 hour tour through Berlin which deeply impressed us and we can only wholeheartedly recommend Juan as a guide!

Our tour guide, Michéle, was absolutely phenomenal. She tailored the tour of Berlin based on our previous knowledge of the city and points of interest. She was friendly, knowledgeable, answered our questions and really showed us what Berlin is all about. Her passion for the city is unmatched, and we truly felt as though we had spent the day with a friend. This tour changed the entire trajectory of our trip, and we ended up completely rearranging our travel plans to come back to Berlin at the end of it. Do not pass up the opportunity to book this experience. You will most definitely not regret it.

Juan was ABSOLUTELY GREAT! He adjusted the tour to our pace (we have 2 boys ages 9 & 12). Juan gave us the right mix of highlighting the main buildings and the history behind each of them, while also showing a couple of hidden gems along the way. We spent a great morning with Seth. Seth took us on an off the beaten track tour. He was very knowledgeable and he made the tour very interesting with a lot of local back stories which really brought our understanding of the city to life. We started in the Tiergarten to the Victory column. Then a bus to the Kaiser-Wilhelm church and then to Die Hackenschen Hoefe (where we had an excellent coffee stop), over to Museum Island, Lustgarten, Neue Wache and finishing at Bebelplatz. We had a thoroughly brilliant morning and we would highly recommend a private tour with Seth to get the most out of your time in this amazing city.

A very good tour for someone who wants to have highlights of the city in three hours. Miha knows the city very well, and has some good stories to tell. He was very nice to recommend an exhibition that was soon to close and helped me buy ticket. We used the underground and the bus which is really helpful as he taught me how to use the transportation system. He is a very nice person, and we had great conversation during the three hours. It went by fast!

Was cancelled the same day the tour was supposed to happen, even though they have sent an sms to confirm the day before... Ruined the whole day for us...

Thoroughly enjoyed our guide - personable and knowledgeable. Learned a lot about Berlin and saw alot. Tour details did say transportation and a local drink which we did not get (only negative of the tour).

I booked Miha’s tour at the last minute and he was extremely accommodating and responsive. Miha understood what we were interested in seeing and took us on a perfect route. Miha’s knowledge about Berlin’s history and current city life is exceptional. We felt that Miha was able to show us everything we wanted to see and many things we didn’t even know we wanted to see. I really enjoyed this tour thanks to my tour guide Miha's great insight on the city, including his knowledge on architecture, and could explore many aspects of the city in such a short time, from Potsdam Platz to Nikolai area. And Miha was kind enough to let me know how to use the public transportation in the city, which was very helpful as well. I highly recommend this tour to the first time visitors to the city like me.

We came to Berlin as a last minute, unplanned trip and had no idea what there was to do here. Christian was the best guide. He was very friendly and easy to talk to, as well as extremely knowledgeable and able to answer our questions. The tour was really fun and personal. We came to Berlin as a last minute, spur of the moment trip and decided to book a private tour because we had no idea what to do here. Christian is really sweet and easy to talk to. He has knowledge on basically everything Berlin related and knows all the best places. He has local knowledge so it’s not just an external view of the basic museums and buildings but also an inside look into where the locals go as well as suggestions for fun things to do for the rest of our trip. He’s really accommodating and totally tailored the tour to our interests. We went off the planned path and he showed us some really interesting sites. My daughter and I enjoy traveling the world and visiting new places. Sadly with the novel corona virus putting a stop to travel, we were so happy to find Miha's live tour of Berlin. A pleasant morning spent with a very knowledgeable & friendly gentleman. Made us both feel at ease & introduced us to Berlin in such an enthusiastic way. Such a nice way of discovering Berlin ! Jim showed us all the highlights, he was very nice and friendly and told us lots of interesting facts. It was a great tour and the 3 and a half hours seemed like minutes ! He also gave us recommandations for our stay (restaurants and so on). Go on, you won't regret it !

It was more a walk with a friend instead of a classic crowded tour guide. There was just me and Miha walking around Berlin! Impressive the amount and the variety of things he knows about the city. Some hidden places, not so turistic, made it fabolous. I warmly advice him!

Jim gave us an excellent tour of the highlights of Berlin. He tailored the tour to fit our interests and asked us where we wanted to visit. He obviously loves Berlin and shared his enthusiasm with us. His knowledge of history was evident and his comments were informative and entertaining. He has a great sense of humour and we all thoroughly enjoyed the tour. We would definitely recommend him as a guide and would also recommend the private group tour as it enables the guide to be more flexible and concentrate on areas of interest to the group.

Our guide, Miha, was really incredible - the weather conditions weren't the best and he was flexible to change it a little bit so we could go to museums and go by train to a couple of places to get off the rain. He knew a lot of facts and all about the architecture, it was great to know some of the insights and this amazing guide gave us a really nice tour. Truly recommend.

We had an excellent meeting and tour with Milena. Because my mother had stepping problems, she made the tour a bit different and we took the bus for a small rest. We proposed to drink quickly a coffee somewhere, and she was very keeping attention. She made a lot of intresting things to see and explained a lot. Lucas was incredibly knowledgeable, laid back, and friendly. He was flexible to our timing and desires and we learned a lot about Berlin culture and history. It truly is a melting pot with such a rich history! A caveat: The company itself is not reliable and cancelled the day of 3 different times. But Lucas came to the rescue and provided an exceptional tour.

We had an amazing three-hour tour on bikes in Berlin with Boyd! He was very flexible when it came to adapting the experience to our group, we got to see many of the biggest tourist attractions as well as other smaller sites. We booked Miha for a four-hour walking tour of Berlin having decided we wanted a private tour for our group of six. What a great decision!
