Guide was great, showed much more than just to food.

Our guide took us to restaurants for food Berlin style. It was great fun and she did a very good job

We ended up being the only ones on the tour so it was a nice little private thing. Christine was super personable and didn’t make things feel awkward. We got a nice taste of some traditional food from the area. The first stop was delicious but all the stops had very big portions.

Brilliant. Easy to find starting spot. Gabriel was perfect. My family of 3 were the only guests on the tour and he felt like part of the family. The food was outstanding and super generous. Great variety and explanations. Recommend. A great introduction on our first day in Berlin.

Come hungry!! Gabe was a great host who took you through areas of Berlin that you probably wouldn’t have discovered on your own. His knowledge of the city, its sites, and its history really added to the experience and made the tour much more interesting. He also did a great job explaining how Berlin’s culture has developed over time and how that evolution helped shape the city’s food scene. It was a great way to experience Berlin beyond the typical tourist areas while learning more about the city and enjoying its food along the way.

Gabriel was a great guide with plenty of knowledge about the history of the foods we tried. We experienced places and food we wouldn’t have ordinarily considered which was a great way to start our break in Berlin.

An incredible food tour in Berlin that truly made me feel the city’s culture through its food, stories, and atmosphere. Finding the meeting point was very easy, and everything was well organized from start to finish. Our guide Gabriel was excellent throughout the whole experience, not only taking us from place to place but also sharing fascinating stories behind every dish and location, which made everything much more meaningful. We started with a classic German schnitzel and a traditional Berlin beer, a perfect introduction to the tour. Then we tried a Döner kebab at a hidden gem in Berlin, which was delicious, followed by a shot of Berliner Luft, a very local and refreshing drink. We continued to another hidden gem spot that we really enjoyed, then tried Currywurst, a true Berlin classic, with a local drink, and finally ended with Berliner Donner. Everything was amazing, smooth, and well organized, and I left feeling like we had truly experienced Berlin from the inside. Highly recommended.

Gabriel was a great tour guide! My 17-yr old son has been talking about the kabobs ever since the tour! The whole family had a real nice time, and enjoyed learning about the different food and drinks he taught us about.

Amazing tour with a great guide! We got to try authentic original Berlin foods including a delicious sweet Berliner, the original kebab, currywurst, and many other local specialties. Everything was perfectly organized, the food was excellent, and the guide made the experience fun and informative. A perfect way to discover the real flavors of Berlin, highly recommended!

Best tour ever!!! Amazing tour guide and original food from Berlin, we wanted to have local food and that’s what we got the taste of Berlin!

Unfortunately, the meeting place was only coordinates and not well defined such as meet at the statue in the park. The itinerary was different then what Viator listed. Our guide Mateo was personable but poorly trained and had limited knowledge about the history of the area and food. That’s the company’s responsibility for training not the tour guide’s fault.

Bring an empty belly, as this is much more filling than other tours we have tried in other cities! Good mix of local dishes and beverages, with an engaging guide. Gabriel was excellent, checking at each stop for dietary restrictions and taking care of everything from seating to ordering.

This was exactly what we were looking for, a true local tour where we experienced authentic local food and places. We really enjoyed discovering the real side of the city. Great personal service provided by Luca who ensured we ate some great food at refreshments in some authentic locations. Would recommend this trip to anyone. It’s worth leaving plenty of time to find meeting point as sat nav does not show well and is not well lit.

My husband and I had Luca, the tour guide, to ourselves which was great! We were able to ask all the questions we wanted. His wife suggested a delicious restaurant and an area to go shopping. We chose this tour because we didn’t want to be rushed through the tour and it had the food and beer stops we were looking for. Since it was just the two of us the tour only lasted about 2.5 hrs but we didn’t feel like we missed out on anything else. The food spots were amazing and the beer was delicious! I highly recommend this tour and hopefully you are lucky enough to get Luca as your tour guide!

The guide was not engaging, did not appear to know much about the food in the area, and for what we paid and where we were taken, i could have just walked around our hotel and checked a search engine. Maybe if he was actually German it would have helped. When asked about the area and places to visit, he didn’t seem to know much. He mentioned a park outside Berlin he likes to frequent. I’ve done food tours in Iceland, Prague, and Stockholm and this is by far the worst I’ve experienced. Hire a native next time who knows the city and enjoys the food.

Luca was a very good host. Food was amazing and all different cuisines. Had schnitzel, curry wurst, doner kebab (which was great and I didn’t know was German), and the best donuts I may have ever had.

Went to 5 restaurants and tasted iconic Berliner food. Walked around aleksanderplatz with new and older sites. Plenty of food and Luca was very friendly

What our tour guide Luka did was just buying foods for us. The tour wasn’t informative. When we asked questions about German culture and Berlin, our tour guide was unable to answer and I have to Google. Our tour guide didn’t seem to know the tour well - I used Google Maps to find restaurants. Do not recommend it at all. It’s a waste of money and time

A friend and I scheduled a group lunch tour which ended up being just us and the guide, Luca - turned out great. Although we were excited to meet other people on the tour, our surprise private tour through Alexanderplatz was an even better experience. We got to really know one another as we explored the route, plus Luca added on a few extras for us, shared recommendations for other interests we had, and just created a great afternoon. Definitely recommend! It’s a wonderful way to see Berlin and meet someone who knows and loves the city.

Fantastic food tasting tour with a bit of Berlin history as well. Carlos was a great tour guide and told us a little about the history of Berlin and pointed out historical sites as we walked through Berlin and sampled some of the local cuisine. The food itself was delicious at every stop and was a perfect variety of some traditional Berlin fare. A completely enjoyable evening and I highly recommend Carlos and this tour!

A variety of food emphasizing the food culture in Berlin...German...Turkish...Indian and donuts. Gabriel was a great tour guide. Was a small mishap of payments to establishments but Gabriel handled as best he could.

Good tour, but expensive for what you get.we had schnitzel, doner kebab, curry wurst - all average but i guess that's question of taste. Desert was donut cut up and shared. Tour was relatively quick as well.

The guide was friendly but didnt give us a very indepth overview of the Berlin food scene. The quality of the food was mixed

Gabriel was awesome! Very knowledgeable, super friendly and personable. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He even showed up on time in the pouring rain and gave me his umbrella.

I can't even begin to describe what a bad experience this was. It was a total scam!! for over 230 euros we were taken to a few sleezy hole in the wall dives that gave us disgusting food that was barely edible. The tour guide did not pay two of the places we went to, and left us at a bar stuck with the bill for our drinks and his. The bar did not take credit cards and we are American and had only been in Europe one day and so we didn't have any Euros on us. The bartender yelled at us and threatened to call the police. Finally, a kind person at the bar lent us the money to pay the bill. Such a beyond terrible experience. Trip Advisor needs to refund our money.
