We worked with Fork &Walk for a private food tour for a multi‑generation HNI family with very specific requests and preferences, and the overall experience was excellent. From the inquiry stage through payment and tour execution, communication was smooth and professional, with Dov as our main point of contact. The guide assigned to our clients, Ms. Lana, was exceptionally kind, patient, and accommodating. She went out of her way to assist our guests, even helping them reach the next tour meeting point, which was well beyond her responsibility and greatly appreciated. Everything was well‑informed and reconfirmed in advance, ensuring a seamless experience throughout. We highly recommend their tours and Ms. Lana as a preferred guide for future tours.

Our tour with Lana was enjoyable, engaging and offered a great taste experience of Berlin’s neighborhoods we would have never seen in our own.
Our Food & Culture tour with Lee, our guide. was truly unforgettable. He was engaging, informative and enthusiastic. He not only offered us the great variety of foods in Kreuzberg but also a glimpse of their origin and evolution.
Fantastic experience, 5 different "meals" all pretty unique and learnt a lot about the neighborhoods we walked through from Lee. Would recommend to anyone.
We had a great time with Dimi on our “semi-private” (ended up just being our family) street art and food tour. He went at our pace and we had a lot of great conversation along with a fantastic sampling of great food. They aren’t kidding when they say come hungry!
Lee did a great job explaining food and culture and the mix of influences. Couple real gems on the tour including Markthalle Neun and the Baklava factory.
Stopped on way home from New England Botanical Garden and glad we did. Great ambiance, friendly staff and cozy space. Good for families early and couples and friends later. Large drink menu with interesting cocktails complimented by a surprisingly large, varied and creative food menu. Short ribs, pulled pork and Brussel sprouts were a hit.
Amazing guide, great locations and really good selection of foods. Totally agree it was east meets west. I can 100% recommend this tour to anyone interested in getting to know the Berlin vibe on the frontier between former east and west part.
The Guide Lee was vety k kwoledgeable about the area and the cuisine He guided us to some very unique areas and resteraunts
Lee took us on a very informative tour of- a good blend of history and cuisine! Particularly liked the Ukrainian restaurant and Turkish Kunefe, which apparently I can get just down the road at home, but discovered it here :)
Great tour to see sights and hear stories of Berlin that wouldn’t be encountered on other walking tours - plus the really tasty food in spots I’d never have thought to go to/found were brilliant and a warm and welcome sit-down for a few mins helps to break up all the walking! Not much street art on the tour but would still recommend once you aren’t looking for a lot of art info - we had seen the Easy Side Gallery by ourselves prior to the tour and so that would probably have been a big part of the street art section we skipped to be fair. Our guide, Benjamin, was very knowledgable and friendly and took the tour at our pace and adjusted the plan for what we wanted so was brilliant. All in all a highlight of our short stay in Berlin and definitely would recommend anyone to do it!
Had Tiago as a guide and he was brilliant in adjusting to the group, delicious food and great info about Berlin. Would highly recommend!
Simon was super informative and interesting to listen to about both food and history. It was a wonderful afternoon with wonderful food and history to experience. Can’t recommend enough!
Lee was out tour guide and did a wonderful job taking us to unexpected places for a variety of tastings. We had tons of questions on the history and vibe of the city that were answered knowledgeably. Come hungry!
Definitely worth the price! Ate a wide variety of different foods. Our guide, Tiago, was knowledgeable and lots of fun. Would highly recommend.
Lee our guide was very knowledgeable. He did a great job. He took us to some good places with great food and gave us a bit of history along the way
We had a wonderful time with lots of delicious food from a variety of different restaurants. Lee was the best guide with inspiring and informative stories about Berlin and the many types of ethnic foods available. Would absolutely recommend this for the food, fun and enjoyment
Dimitrios was a great guide with lots of interesting stories to tell. We had a really nice walk from Friedrichshain to Kreuzberg with a variety of food and drinks along the way. Highly recommended.
My fifteen year old daughter and I did the East Meets West tour and had a fantastic time. Our guide, Tiago, was outstanding--very personable and full of interesting details both about the food and the neighborhoods. The tour was a great way to go beyond the more touristy parts of Berlin and to get a sense of the ways that the city has grown in recent years. We were in Berlin for a week, and my daughter called the food tour one of her favorite parts of the trip!
We enjoyed our food tour with Simon! Our family of 5 were the only participants, so we really were able to get a lot out of the experience. A highlight was visiting the East Side Gallery, too. Simon did a great job of ensuring there were vegetarian options available for me. One of our favorite stops was the Turkish desserts and coffee at the last stop. Overall, I'd recommend this tour to see some Berlin neighborhoods you might otherwise miss and to try foods away from the tourist centers.
Learned so much about Berlin and these neighborhoods! Delicious food - and a lot of it. Elena was knowledgeable, engaging and an all around delight.
Elena clearly loves showing her guests the city she loves. The tour was about much more than food: art, Berlin and cold war history, and pop culture. (For example: Why are the trams only in the former Eastast? Now I know. Where did David Bowie hang out when he lived in Berlin? A few doors down from where we had a Turkish dessert.) But the food was fantastic as well! We enjoyed schnitzel and then headed off to sample multiple Ukrainian dishes at one restaurant and multiple Turkish dishes at another, then a Turkish dessert in the neighborhoods of Neukölln and Kreuzberg.
Fantastic 4 hour tour with Tiago today. We saw lots of places and ate in places we just would have never found. Tiago was very knowledgeable and it was great to do a tour with our teenagers that they found interesting. Loads of food and great to take our doughnuts away with us. Thank you Tiago.
Great tour with Elena. She told a lot about Berlin, culture, people and the areas we passed. The food was great and we had plenty of time. I am glad I skipped breakfast that day. We had some traditional german food, ukranien, turkisb and a special chinese tasting. All was really good. If you want to hear about Berlin as it is today - and try some good food - this is a great oppertunity. We also had to skip dinner - so the portions sizes are good
Tour was great. Thiago was an awesome guide. All of the places we ate at were great. Nice variety of food and the walk through the neighborhoods and historical facts were just as enjoyable as the all of the delicious food
We had a fantastic tour! Our guide Lee was very friendly and informative. We tasted so many delicious foods while walking and leaning about Berlin history. Highly recommend for those who like great food and history combined!!
We had a great day out, trying lots of different foods, exploring districts we otherwise wouldn't have and learning about German history and what it's like to live in Berlin today. The food we sampled was varied, and again, it was from places that we wouldn't have naturally chosen ourselves. Our guide Elena was fun, friendly and offered lots of information along the way. She was also more than happy to take questions and get involved with the group at each stop. Would definitely recommend for people looking to sample a slightly different version of food available in Berlin!
Great experience today with Lee. He was knowledgeable and catered to what we wanted education on. As traveling Chefs, we wanted to know a lot about the food preparation and the history behind it. Lee was knowledgeable in these areas and made sure we didn’t freeze. With cold temperatures and pouring rain, he made every effort to find warm drinks and dry places to have conversations and didn’t make us stand in the elements for 4 hours. Highly recommend.
What a wonderful day of eating, walking and enjoying the multi ethnic neighborhoods of Berlin. Elena was a super guide.. She is very knowledgeable about how migrant culture has influenced Berlin's food culture and imparts this knowledge with great humor. We ate a lot and all was tasty. This should be a must for anyone visiting Berlin
Tiago was awesome!! Very knowledgeable and great at walking us through the history of the area. The food was great too.
This was a very interesting tour. We sampled many delicious foods and Tiago gave us valuable historical context between stops. This is a good tour!
Much more than a food tour. Our guide Tiago gave us an amazing memory of berlin!! Really big portions and vegetarian friendly.
Great tour filled with yummy tastings a lots of history. My guide Tiago was an excellent source of information on the food, culture and history of the area! Would definitely recommend!
Great history lesson as well as foodie tour. Despite the gruelling 35c temps, our small family enjoyed the diversity of food, drinks and Berlin history with Holger. Having extensive ties to the former east side, we learnt even more about the cultural dynamics of Berlin's Kreuzberg district, and east/west borders over the last 100+ years. It was interesting to hear the west Berlin hometown perspective. Too bad a couple of the stops were on siesta due to the heat, but we loved the Späti, currywurst, baked goods and Vietnamese food. Curry 7 beats out Curry 36 - just saying. A highlight for us was the graffiti scenes. Thank you Holger!
Our entire family enjoyed this experience and the food. Our guide Lee was well informed and engaging and shared history of the neighborhoods, placing the food we were eating in context. We enjoyed getting off the beaten path to see the back of a beautiful mosque and the club where David Bowie played. Our favorite bites were the kimchi fries (a perfect dish) and the flammkuche pizzas. Highly recommend!
The food tour was a highlight of our trip to Berlin. Our tour guide, Will, was most informative, indulged our interests, and did his absolute best to satisfy the groups wants and needs. The laughs, tastes and views will last a lifetime!
It was a great tour ,Holger was full of information about the neighbourhood! We learnt a lot about the history of Berlin but also what makes Berlin so unique
This is not your average walking tour. Our guide, Holger, took us on a personal journey through his city. He used it's food and drink to tell it's story. From the initial meeting (and doughnut) Holger made this tour fun & insightful. His knowledge is excellent and was always happy to answer any questions. For such a diverse city, this tour managed to capture the finer details of what makes Berlin, Berlin. Come with healthy appetite, a good pair of shoes and an inquisitive more and you will have a wonderful time.
It was a nice tour of Berlin with good food stops. The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly and kept the tour on a good pace.
Our tour guide, Alex, was very knowledgeable about the history of Berlin and the neighborhoods we walked. The foods we sampled were out of the ordinary and ones we would not have tasted on our own. We got a comprehensive view of issues currently facing these neighborhoods with waves in new immigrants. The small group nature made it an intimate experience. The range of food choices were well selected. It was a great tour.
We have had such a fantastic day with our guide Violeta. She is extremely knowledgeable about Berlin, and the history that has shaped the city. She took us to some amazing eateries where we tried a huge range of foods and beers. By the end we had become friends and really enjoyed her company. Thanks so much for such a fantastic day!
Enjoyed new and exciting tastes of Berlin amd German food and also many samples from the many cultures living in the city. Will, our tour guide, was perfect and super knowledgeable on history and Berlin.
I can't explain what I expected, but what I got was ten times better. Will is a warm, friendly, well-informed guide who throughout the tour put our preferences first. Delicious food, great commentary on the history and hidden details of the buildings we encountered, and always ready to give answers to any questions we might have had. I have literally not a single word of criticism, this was everything you could ask for, and more!
This is an excellent way to chat to a local, find out what it’s like to live in Berlin, experience some unusual neighbourhoods and sample some food that you’d never find by yourself - off the beaten track! Tiago was an interesting, informative and warm guide.
We had an absolute amazing time enjoying the fusion of street art, history, conversation, and of course, incredible food. Tiago was simply excellent, full of knowledge, and guided us to numerous tastes and sites we would never have found on our own. We highly recommend this tour.
We had a great time with Holger, a knowledgeable and entertaining guide, who showed us a side of Berlin’s food culture that we might not have discovered ourselves.
We did the tour with Tiago and it was fantastic! He gave great insights into different neighborhoods and street art and brought us to delicious food stops. Highly recommend!
Elena was excellent. We had a taste of many different German and Turkish foods. We would highly recommend her. Seeing neighborhoods of Berlin that most tourists would have missed was a plus.
We had a great time with Holger. He was an excellent guide and we learned a ton about history and food from him. Highly recommend!
Fantastic food tour with Tiago. Loved the combination of art, history, and food. Come hungry as the food is delicious and plentiful. Fantastic way to get acquainted with the food scene in Berlin.
