A great intro to the city of east Berlin and an excellent history refresher of the Cold War, World War One and WW II. Our Tour guide Beny was warm, personable, interested and interesting! The day went by quickly with laughter, intelligence, interaction and introspection. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to get to know the highlights of the city and hit the ground running .

Reuben was a fantastic host, personable and full of knowledge. Thoroughly recoommend
It is informative and takes in most of the important sites with lots of information and recommendations to come back to - Dylan was excellent as a guide
Our guide Julia was very knowledgeable and friendly. It was excellent introduction to city.
Very informative tour from a very knowledgeable and humorous guide. Kept everyone engaged, happily answered questions, also gave great recommendations. Would highly recommend. Thanks very much Tobi! Brendan - team Ireland spokesperson - had a great day!
Excellent way to begin a visit to Berlin to understand the brutal history and the magic of the current city
This is an easy-paced walk. Covers about 30 stops in 3.5 hours. A great introduction to Central Berlin. Our guide Tobi was very friendly, informative and helpful in explaining the history and culture of the city area. He also explained how the city’s development linked into the history of the whole country. Quite suitable for all ages.
Benny was amazing! Knowledgable and engaging
Our English guide, Michael was extremely knowledgeable on historical events , was anecdotal and courteous made the 4 hour tour a complete pleasure.
This was everything I wanted in a walking tour of Berlin. It was robust in interesting knowledge, well delivered so it was digestible and accessible, it was well-paced - so that even though it was 3-4 hour tour, it did not feel like it. Phillippe was our guide and he was well spoken, informed, and genuinely seemed passionate about the subject matter. All that combined with the affordable price tag, it was perfect for me and my husband!
The tour involves a lot of walking so comfortable shoes however it is so worth it. Brilliant tour, and fantastic tour host Michael… he was so informative and talks about a lot of history and background of each stop and attraction. The tour itself was really good and I would recommend to anyone visiting Berlin that is interested in architecture and history. 10/10
We were escorted by Micheal. we felt like we were escorted by a professor than a tour guide. His knowledge on Germany history was quite impressive. As we walked through the city for close to 4 hours, he explained how the region was transformed in the past few hundred years. It was quite informative. We enjoyed the tour very much
This was an excellent tour, very informative - our tour guide Beni was great; very personable and knowledgeable. Our 10 year old was the only kid doing the walking tour and was very engaged throughout. Would highly recommend
Nick was second to none. Amazing tour. Learned a lot!
Michael was superb, the pace, content, tone and delivery were exceptional! My husband and I were captivated and our 2 teenagers were engaged throughout, just make sure you have comfortable shoes on. Great value for money.
What a fantastic experience! Our walking tour with Philip lasted around four hours, and every minute was absolutely worth it. Philip was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about Berlin’s history. He brought the city’s fascinating stories to life with interesting details, great explanations, and a wonderful sense of humour. Despite the length of the tour, the time flew by thanks to Philip’s enthusiasm and excellent storytelling. It was the perfect combination of history, culture, and discovering Berlin’s most iconic landmarks. A huge thank you to Philip for making this such a memorable experience. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Berlin!
The tour was very good. Anika, our guide, was great. She took us on a comprehensive tour of Berlin, this really helped with the rest of our stay as we could orientate ourselves based on where we had been. It was a large group but we could clearly hear her. She gave an overall history of Berlin and its buildings. Being a younger guide, she spoke a lot about the reunification of Berlin and it was really great to hear this history from someone who had grown up during that time. The pace of the tour was fine, no one in the group struggled to keep up. I would definitely recommend taking this tour.
Julia was amazing! She was extremely knowledgeable about Berlin and Berlin/European history. Each stop she gave us what the location was built for and then what it became in later years. Great pace and overall wonderful day! I would highly recommend Julia and this half day your.
This was a wonderful and informative tour. The guide was amazing!!
Simply a fantastic tour and I am glad that I took it. Our guide Beny was wonderful and explained everything so well. And he also answered all our questions to our complete satisfaction. I learned a lot about Berlin's history.
Excellent tour guide, Phillip knows pretty much everything about the area and the history of Berlin. Was a great way to get our bearings in a city we had not visited before.
Recommended way of learning more about the city. Our guide Amanda was able to take us through past events which have shaped Berlin - much more informative than reading a guide book.
Nick our guide was brilliant. Informative friendly & funny. As a family we had a fabulous few hours walking Berlin with Nick providing us with all the history. Would highly reckoned this tour.
Very comprehensive and interesting! Beny was a really great guide - he was friendly and entertaining and, most importantly, made everything come alive.
Rohan was very knowledgeable and passionate. I would highly recommend him as a tour guide. He answered all questions.
Sarah was amazing! She shared lots of historical information in a fun, relatable and approachable manner! Truly amazing tour! Highly recommend for anyone visiting Berlin!
Absolutely incredible tour. So insightful and value for money. Not some tour guide taking you around 10 minutes here and 5 minutes there following an itinerary, no. Joel made it personal. Gave us all the information, we explored, asked questions and it was great. It said 2:30 for the tour, he allowed for 4:30. You could go if you wanted but he took a few of us off further, didn’t ask for anything extra he just wanted people to know the history around this city. If you’re lucky to get the New York hero Joel who’s a local now in Berlin, you’ll have an incredible tour.
One of the best city walking tours I’ve ever been on! Knowledgeable guide with an easy manner and a very interesting itinerary.
Excellent and informative tour of Berlin. Our guide, Lewis, was engaging, friendly and knowledgable.
Alex was a fantastic tour guide - very knowledgeable, friendly, and his love of history really shone through. We definitely found out more than we ever would have on our own, and given it was a small group it was easy to ask questions and get detailed answers. It was a great overview of Berlin and cannot recommend it more highly to others.
We have booked a 3,5h walking tour through Berlin. It was very interesting. One can learn a lot and see the places where history happend. Our guide Anika was great. She was very friendly and answered all our question. Definitly worth the money.
Lewis was great! He was very knowledgeable on German/Berlin history and clearly loved the city. He was the perfect mix of history, fun, funny, and personable.
Travelers be a aware that your tour guide may be a FAST walker, fast talker (good stories but barely time To comprehend), who rushes past all the sites without enough time to snap photos,’grab a snack, take any break or sit down. Be prepared to stand for literally 2.5 hours if your tour guide is originally from Bangladesh, recently from London and name starts with a W, not able to recall his name. It felt like the faster he was done the faster he could end and go home. Honest review!
An outstanding walking tour of Berlin, well paced, covering many of the important aspects of the historically significant city, thorough and laid out in an efficient course. Finding the tour meeting place was easy, Steve was an amazing tour guide, and took the time to answer questions and explain the questions the group had. I highly recommend this tour if you want a more comprehensive exposure of the amazing city of Berlin.
We did the tour with Sarah and it was such a great experience! She's very funny and upbeat, truly a great guide. We experienced the city through the lens of Berlin's colorful history told by a local and we absolutely loved it
Simply brilliant. Sarah our guide was exceptional - excellent knowledge delivered with passion meant that the tour was both informative and enjoyable. Would highly recommend.
If you are new to Berlin and with limited time or on a short break this tour ticks all the boxes and will help you enjoy the rest of your stay. Jimmy W is fabulous if you happen to get him as your guide. Very interactive and knowledgeable with a friendly and approachable nature. Many thanks!
This was the best guided walking tour I’ve ever been on. The amount of information was a LOT, but the guide (Jorge) was a wizard with words. He had a brilliant way of adding context to complicated histories. I learned more than I expected, had an amazing time learning, and felt the tour was paced really well. We covered a LOT of German/Berlin history without being overwhelming. In fact, we both felt energized to continue learning and hit two museums after!
Excellent overview of Berlin and German history! Covered more than just WW II, although that was a main focus. Highly informative and excellent guide. Definitely recommend.
Good content. The guide was walking too fast to enjoy any of the sites. The microphone he had was toy quality like. As we did not have any audio devices ourselves, i missed probably half the explanation. The interaction was also limited due to the rhythm of the visit.
Great tour , Joel provided great insight into the areas visited .
It was interesting and informative. It was entertaining and enjoyable. It was well tailored to a person who had never visited Berlin before.
Absolutely a worthwhile walking tour. Nearly 4 hours but it went by fast, which is testament to our guide Julia, who we could not fault. She started the day in old Berlin giving us a quick understanding of Berlins origins. The insights and info given made the day. Much better understanding of the start of WW2 and Hitler impact. But this was not just about the Nazi era, also touched on the Cold War. The memorial to the murdered Jews was moving. Highly recommend this tour, and if you go, hope you get Julia as she was outstanding.
Jake is a great guide. Adds a touch of humor, along with a knowledge of the history of the city and the country.
Very interesting tour full of historical facts. Rather longer than we expected (nearly 5 hours including a coffee stop) but good value for money. Joel was full of knowledge.
great Julia, you are fantastic.
Thank you so much! Today was just incredible. We would have walked through Berlin loving the views without understanding the significance. Our guide was just so knowledgeable and genuinely keen to answer any questions we had.
Fantastic guide. Outstanding knowledge and history. Very informative and great presentation.
Excellent tour. Very clear and well presented history of the city.
Very informative tour. Jake was an excellent guide; lots of good historical knowledge with a nice amount of humour.
