Well worth it spending a few hours with Ben on this alternative street art tour. Not only did we get to see some fantastic street art, we also learn about the history and culture behind graffiti and street art in Berlin and across the world.

I had no idea graffiti could be so fascinating and thought-provoking. Ben, our guide, is an artist himself, and he gave us a fascinating insight into the vibrant world of public art — exploring the stories, meanings, and complexities behind the art on the walls. His passion for the subject really comes through, and it’s truly contagious. I loved the tour and highly recommend it!
Tour guide was great! Felt like I walked away with an appreciation and eye for street art and graffiti.
It was fantastic experience with the street Art Tour. Unfortunately I forget the guy‘s name, he was Artist himself, So he made tour very lively. It’s totally worth your time and money
What an amazing tour! The guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional, with fascinating insights directly from within Berlin’s street art scene and beyond. Thank you again for this wonderful tour!
I really enjoyed this tour. Got to see lots of great street art & our guide was awesome & very knowledgeable & informative. We went to places I probably wouldn't have otherwise gone. Really enjoyable 3 hour tour.
It was overall a great experience, the tour guide was very nice, and he made the experience interesting and enjoyable for everyone. The spots we went to were all well connected.
Berlin’s street art came alive from the very first stop thanks to Rob’s incredible guidance. Warm, generous, and deeply knowledgeable, he brought the history and evolution of Berlin’s graffiti and street art into sharp focus with fascinating insights, humour and contagious enthusiasm. What made the experience even better was how attentive he was to the group—on a sweltering day, he made sure we had plenty of chances to cool off and stay comfortable. Rob didn’t just show us Berlin’s street art; he helped us understand and appreciate it.
Really insightful and engaging tour. Rob, the tour guide, had many vignettes and stories to share which kept all members of the tour interested and having fun. Our tour had visitors from five different countries and of three different generations. Everybody had a good time. I especially appreciated that the tour guide was able to answer more sophisticated questions about history of graffiti and street art, cities around the world that also have strong street art histories, art techniques, etc., while also making the material accessible for people with a more beginner understanding. Rob also ensured that the pace/tone was inclusive for guests with different disabilities and that we stood out of direct sunlight on a very hot day. Also, I did not expect to laugh so much!
What a great 3 hours exploring the graffiti and street art culture of Berlin. The guide was fantastic. Informative, knowledgeable and adaptable to his audience and conditions. It was a scorcher of a day, but he made sure we were in the shade as much as possible, had water and stops to cool down. Thanks so much for a great tour!
A wonderful informative insight into the world of Street Art and Graffiti. Rob is super articulate and very funny - highly recommended!
An enjoyable and informative tour of street art! Our guide, Rob, was so knowledgeable and entertaining. I highly recommend as something fun and uplifting that deviates from the devastation and heartache of Hitler's Germany.
Top tour from Rob, went with the view of vandalism came away in awe. I love it when the tour guide has both knowledge and passion. Thank you Rob, keep doing what you do.
The tour guide was fantastic. He was a street artist himself and had a lot of knowledge about the history of both graffiti and street art and was very good at explaining the difference. He gave us a wonderful concept of what it is to be a street artist, the culture, the commitment, the risk and the reward. A beautifully done tour. I also enjoyed that there was a shop at the end of it selling the work of street artists we could bring home.
We really learned about street art techniques, artists. Rob, our guide, was a delightful mix of graffiti knowledge and quirkiness. However, his quirkiness tended to throw him a bit of track at times.
I'd like to thank Rob (our tour guide) for the amazing job he did. A really fun guy! He talked about graffiti and street art (until then, I couldn't tell the difference between the two) in a way that was very engaging. We got to see hidden gems in different parts of Berlin. Lovely pieces of urban art that should be more appreciated. Once again, thank you Rob! You are awesome! Whoever reads this, should definitely take the tour. You won't regret!
A great, interesting and inspiring tour through the graffiti and streetart scene of Berlin with the brilliant guide Ben. He changed our mind and opinion about graffiti, street art and stickers. He always looked at both sides and was not preaching. Excellent 👍
What a fascinating tour. Our guide Rob was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and opened up the world of street art/graffiti to us. A true highlight of our Berlin trip!
Rob was a fantastic host. He is so knowledgeable and has been doing this tour a good while. We learnt so much in such a short space of time. The group was a good size and we had a break for a coffee. Rob made sure he interacted with every member of the group too so we all felt very welcome.
Really awesome knowledge shared from Rob, and now throughout our travels in europe we feel we are on an easter egg hunt catching pieces by some of the artists he introduced us to
You will see things you otherwise would have paid no attention to, and gain an awareness of your surroundings….as I walked around today….in Berlin…I kept thinking of those who left there mark….I AM HERE
This was a great tour. Rob who led the tour was so knowledgeable this subject. He shared so much detail and insight about public art, paring with the history of Berlin. So it was like getting an art history lesson that's actually fun. 3 hour tour on foot and public transit at a leisurely pace - but I wouldn't mind if it would go longer. I recommend this tour, totally worth the price.
Loved this tour. Rob our guide was fantastic! He really knew what he was talking about and his passion for the topic was engaging and infectious - it really makes a difference having a guide who is genuinely enthusiastic about what they are sharing. Won’t deny being able to share some cultural references as an Australian solo traveller was nice. I appreciated the chance to grab a hot choc and a snack midway through! Thoroughly recommend this tour.
We got a really interesting, personal, fun and inspiring tour through the graffiti and streetart scene of Berlin with the guide Ben. He made the experience fun, playful and filled with stories and reflections. We loved it and found it to be a perfect activity for a group of friends, a couple like us and for anyone either an interest in art or in just experiencing the city through a different lens. Highly recommended!
Rob was so knowledgeable, passionate and a brilliant communicator. Would recommend to anyone interested in art or seeing Berlin through a different perspective!
This is a great tour. It sounds like a lot of walking, but it really isn’t. You do a lot of stopping and discussing the artwork being shown to you. There’s also a little time to wander so you can take pictures and there was a stop at a café where you can get a coffee or use the restroom. You will need to have a train ticket which we had luckily, but I don’t think I was aware of that when we first signed up the tour guide Rob was really great on making sure anyone who didn’t have a ticket was able to get one and shown everyone how to use the machine. I would highly recommend this. It’s a great way to see Berlin and understand the artwork that you’re looking at.
This tour is fun! It was a spritzy, cold November day but everyone, including Rob our tour guide, were in excellent spirits. Rob had encyclopedic knowledge of the street art and graffiti scene in Berlin and the history of the art form itself. He showed us a variety of techniques used by the artists and interjected the best anecdotal stories into the educational bits. My 15 year-old daughter, who loves art but is very “15”, absolutely adored the tour. This was, of course, an added bonus. We also got the best cup of coffee I’ve had in Berlin. 100% recommend.
If you’re looking to go past the typical tourist experience, do this tour. Street art is the heart of Berlin’s art culture, and Rob does an amazing job combining history, culture, and personal connection. Even though it was cold outside, I was so enthralled by Rob that it flew by. 100% recommend this tour and Rob!
Informative tour showcasing some of Berlin’s street art and graffiti, explaining the techniques, history, impact and legal context of the movement. Rob was engaging and funny! The next day I went to the “Love letters to the city” exhibition at Urban Nation gallery which is also about street art in Berlin, and kept learning more. Would highly recommend this combo.
My children and I thougherly enjoyed the tour. It was fabulous to hear Rob's emmense passion of the subject, we loved him . Plus we just happen fall upon a great group of people. Thanks bundles Rob x
Absolutely amazing, so fun. Hilarious time, educational time, fun time, much respect for street art and graffiti. Rob, thank you for a terrific tour. Highlight of our trip to Berlin. I learned so much about this art form.
Our tour guide, Rob was interesting and well-informed, very enthusiastic about his subject. We learned about Berlin street art in a way we would never have done without a guide. Just one point, he has been doing this job for 13 years and we felt there was a lack of spontenaety. Nevertheless, this was an interesting three hours.
Rob was so funny and passionate about street art. I not only had a blast but I will never look at graffiti or street art the same way again!
I loved our tour of the street art in Berlin. Our tour guide Rob was incredibly knowledgeable, and, he was a street artist himself! As an added bonus? Rob had a wonderful and wicked sense of humor! I highly recommend it!
I was really impressed by our guide, Susana’s, knowledge of street art. She asked a lot of thoughtful questions and made the experience very participatory. I came away with a better understanding of the sociopolitical and cultural movements underlying a lot of the art we saw. I’m so glad I booked this tour during my short stay in Berlin.
Exceptional tour from a real street artist, very knowledgeable and is passionate about Berlin, its history, culture and art
Marnie was just terrific! So knowledgeable and friendly and enthusiastic. I am so excited to look for CMYK dots everywhere we travel now.
Marni is a wonderful guide with a true love of street art. I've always sought out Street Art on our travels but I learnt a great deal more from her. The fact that she is a street artist herself adds an extra dimension to the tour She not only showed us great art but had a wealth of knowledge to share. A 10 out of 10 tour
I am not an artsy person. I have very little interest. However my 15 year old daughter is and I want to support her. So went on the street art tour with Marni today and she's fantastic. I now understand what I'm looking at,can talk about techniques and more importantly can interact with my daughter on this topic. Thank you. An absolute gem 💎
The guide Rob was so knowledgeable and friendly. The tour was fluid on time allowing you to take plenty of photos. I would highly recommend this to anyone who likes art or would like to get an alternative view of the city.
This is a really fun way to see the city and learn about an art form that is covering Berlin. Additionally, I learned a ton about Street Art and Graffiti. And Rob, the tour guide, was the John Oliver of Street Art Tour Guides.
Cool insights into the Berlin street art scene! Very informative tour covering the history of graffiti and street art as well as the current culture and practices.
Fascinating and illuminating tour which gave us a new perspective into the Berlin scene. Delivered authentically and with passion by Ben, we (even in our 60s!) and our daughter, thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would recommend to people of all ages without hesitation
Our guide Rob was fun to listen. He is himself an artist as well, for that reason he had too much to explain. He was attended some of the creations of the street art that he showes to us. He explained street art and graffiti in many aspects, like the technique, who did it and the story/purpose behind it. It was so much excitement to listen to him. Even my 12 y o daughter enjoyed the tour so much. Thank you Rob, you and the tour was great.
Rob's knowledge gave excellent insight into the development and evolution of the graffiti and street art in Berlin. His sense of humour engaged the group and I highly recommend the tour
Ben is not only a tour guide; he is also a graffiti artist with a keen understanding and pulse on the topic for which he has chosen to guide others. The 3-hour journey went by quickly (even with high heat) because it was extremely informative, eye opening, and gave me and my wife an understanding of Berlin’s rich graffiti scene.
Thank you Rob for an amazing tour! 3 hours flew by and we learnt so much. It was so interesting, I could easily have continued listening for several more hours.
It was really interesting and wacky, and the street art spoke for itself! Why does my review have yo be more than 100 characters?
What an incredible way to explore Berlin! Our guide, Rob, gave us a really fun introduction to street art and graffiti (I didn’t know these were two different things) and made us appreciate techniques and nuances that would have been completely lost on me. The fact that he is an artist himself made the experience really memorable. Strongly recommended (bring a hat and sunscreen in summer!).
This tour was funny, well researched and overall a great time. I would highly recommend!! I did get lost getting to the starting point (bad sense of direction) but was supported by TripAdvisor who could inform the tour guide and was received graciously once I finally did find them (even though I was a bit late).
