I had a wonderful time with Alex as our guide in a small group. He showed us around and taught us the basics of Berlin's history. The tour was chill and allowed to really get a feeling of Berlin's life and its most recent changes.

Walther was a fantastic guide. He had studied history and could tell us all the insights of the cold war. I could recommand this bike tour very much.
A solid 3.5 hour overview of the sites in Berlin. A little over 10 miles of biking on flat land with a mix of roads and bike lanes provides the rider a chance to get their bearings and see the city. Our guide Guy offered meaningful stories about the people and history of Berlin.
Brilliant tour. We were late arriving but they had someone at the end of the street to guide us in. Fray was a great guide, informative but not patronising. Deffo recommend.
Bike was a great way to get around the city and see many iconic spots. Our guide Andy provided an entertaining and inciteful overview of the many sites. A thoroughly enjoyable excursion.
We met Andy ( our guide) at the beautiful meeting point with great old brewery buildings. After a very smooth bike adjustments and safety features we went on our 3.5h journey around Berlin. Andy was very informative and shared many interesting facts with us. We went to places we never heard about and a few we would like to explore more . It’s a great way of exploring Berlin, highly recommended for anyone ( even those who are only occasionally cycling) . Thank you to Andy and all Berlin on bike team
Andy is a great knowledgeable animated and passionate guide. Lots of facts and fun facts on the city's history. Awesome tour. Thanks Andy..
Pete did a great job, very friendly and knowledgeable.
Superb tour with a really well-informed guide (thank you Brendan) who gave an intelligent and nuanced take on the complexities of Berlin history and culture, and put it straight and honest with good explanation on-route. Also a great coffee stop and apple strudel! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this. Also, doing this on our first morning set us up well for understanding Berlin, and how easy it is to tour on a bike.
Pete was pleasant and provided an informative overview of Berlin and its history. He made sure that everyone stayed together when crossing big roads. I would recommend this tour for families- my kids are 9 and 12 and enjoyed the tour.
Absolutely loved the bike tour. The 3.5 hours flew by and I learned so much about the history and culture that makes Berlin what it is today. Our guide Angus was awesome and gave a perfect blend of interesting stories and anecdotes that kept all ages interested. The bikes were in good condition and the ride is for all fitness levels and was very easy. I highly recommend to all.
Great tour. Brendan, our guide, was really interesting and feels like we covered a lot of the Berlin sights. Travelled with teenagers who really enjoyed it. Cycling was easy to do on well maintained bikes. They provided helmets and even little extras like rain ponchos to wear. We would highly recommend
What a wonderful way to see Berlin! It is a mostly flat city that is easy to bike around in. Oleg was so informative and took his time to show us the city. The bikes were in good shape and helmets were provided for free if you chose to use them. We stopped about half way thru for refreshments and a restroom break.
This was a great way to see Berlin. You hit the major highlights but also you get a feel for the neighbourhoods in Berlin. Our guide Alex was great. Lots of local stories as well as the history of Berlin. I would highly recommend this tour.
Loved this tour - great balance of sights and information; fantastic way to get familiar with Berlin! Guide was exceptional!
The bike tour was a great way to see Berlin and learn about the history. Thank you so much! The tour guide was great.
We loved our tour on the first day we arrived in Berlin. Our guide was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Strongly recommended for anyone visiting Berlin. The tour did run a bit long, so if you have something afterwards maybe let your tour guide know.
This tour was so immersive I really felt I learned about the history of Berlin. Our guide (Andy) was entertaining, engaging and full of stories that painted a real clear picture of the area. Thoroughly enjoyed this experience and would recommend it to any visitors to Berlin, I can't imagine our trip without this! Additional note, all the provided gear (bikes, helmets, sunscreen, baskets, etc.) were top notch, really solid outfit!
What a great experience riding around Berlin and learn the history and seeing many different places. The tour guide is very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour.
Super bike tour of Berlin. Great tour guide that we enjoyed very much!!!!! We highly recommend this.
Easy and fun! Pete was a great tour guide you could tell he cared about the history. Well worth the day!
We had great time. James, the guide, was wonderful and extremely nice with our kid. We saw berlins highlights and the explanations were precise. Thank you!
Very interesting and thorough. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable to Berlin's history. Being very interested in Berlin's history, good and bad, I was really looking forward to this tour. I appreciated the opportunity to get around easily on the bikes while taking it all in. Did not disappoint.
This was the best bike tour, Andy is exceptional guide. He has the unique ability to share information with humour. He took us to some off yhe beaten track places and gave great insights. It's my second bike tour with them in 4 years and already looking forward to the next one. Thank you very much
Pete was the perfect guide and told us very nice strikes about the places we visites
Absolutely wonderful 3.5 hours cycling around Berlin's iconic sites in the beautiful sunshine. I cannot think of a better way to enjoy seeing Berlin over a week-end away. Berlin on a Bike were such a lovely company to deal with. The instructions in the e-mails they sent were all very clear and on arrival at the starting point, all the people were super friendly and helpful. The guy getting the bikes ready was so helpful with my 13 year old niece , ensuring she got the right size bike etc. Berlin is made for cycling , with beautiful wide cycle ways and dedicated streets. The tour was super well planned and really chilled so you can absorb the culture and sites. There was a lovely little coffee stop too mid way. Brendan our English tour guide was superb. He delivered so much amazing content about the recent history of Berlin. His delivery was key into keeping everyone engaged , including my young niece who loved it and was recounting some of the historical facts on the plane home ! I was gutted that the tour ended and I've already started to plan my next week-end to Berlin with my friend with the goal of doing a couple of cycle tours. Thanks to the entire Berlin on Bike team !
Guide wasn't overly enthusiastic, so the trip itself felt a bit like a bore. They weren't the most knowledgable and I felt that looking things up on wiki while cycling would've been a better experience. It also felt like a large portion of the time we were cycling through pedestrianised (no-cycling) areas. Adding to the woes, one of our party lost a pedal 3/4 through the tour, and as the guide was unable to fix it, they needed to have a rental scooter for the remainder, which subsequently had issues due to mobile phone data. In all, the tour took us on an interesting route to see interesting things, but our party of 4 would've preferred to just find that route and cycle it ourselves.
This was a great way to see Berlin, we had an excellent very informative guide and I was pleasently surprised by the courteous drivers in the centre of Berlin. We felt very safe (little traffic for a large city) and I would definately recommend this excursion.
This was an exceptionally well done 3.5 hour bike tour. Our guide Pete did a great job keeping us safe and gave great history lessons. I highly recommend! I saw things I didn’t see on my guided tour.
We had such an amazing time and Anna was such a wealth of knowledge.
Really enjoyed the tour. Informative to the history of the city, saw many major sights and things I may not have given the time. A great start to your city exploration. Only downside was there wasn’t heaps of time to get photos, but that would also slow down and restrict the number of sights you see. It gave us some thing to come back to with more time. Easy for novice riders to go and keep up. Our guide James was amazing, thank you.
Had a brilliant bike ride today with a great group of people led by our guide Angus. What Angus doesn’t know about German history, nevermind Berlin history, probably isn’t worth knowing!! And he obviously loves continuing to study and pass his knowledge on with a wonderful Aussie sense of humour. Promote this man he’s a keeper!! 😀
Our guide, Anna, did a fantastic job showing us around the city. She provided terrific historical context to all of the sites in Berlin. 10/10.
Fantastic overview of the city and a fun way to see the city. Fantastic guide made the experience even more enjoyable
We had a lovely cycle through the city wit Anna our guide she was a great guide and very animated and talked all through the cycle. She gave us a great insiteto the city of Berlin.
Brendan was very informative & great historian so was very interesting!! It was a good ride fairly easy. I do think they should’ve had a sign at tge entrance to say the bikes were there …I walked right past it & nearly late
I had a brilliant time with Sam as our tour guide. So lucky to have a historian as our guide and he made the trip so interesting while enthusiastically answering my many questions. Very comfortable bike and the easiest cycling as so flat and well marked for bicycles. Sunny clear day day, clean air and so much less traffic than other major cities. Thank you, friendly Fat Tyres and Berlin.
We had such a wonderful tour led by Oleg. He brought us to all the major sights and even some places off the beaten track. He was engaging, informative and friendly. Our tour group was small (only 4 people) which made for a comfortable atmosphere to ask questions and gave more of a conversational feel to the whole tour. I’m not much of a confident cycler but I really loved this tour, we covered a lot of ground and learned a lot on the way, I would definitely recommend.
Theoretically wonderful, actually disappointing. 3 hours cycling round such an historic city should be a treat rather than the somewhat hair raising and frustrating experience it was. Our guide was enthusiastic but I’m all the wrong ways; lovely as he was, I was hoping for someone informed about the history of the Berlin rather than having to listen to a patchwork of personal opinions and misinformation. In addition, sending him on a customer recognition course might help him to remember to check on his fellow tour goers rather than hurting off into traffic as they navigated oncoming vehicles and the like. It was nice to be outside on a bike for 3 hours, and a helpful means to orientate ourselves but the real learning came today when we revisited all the sites and read up on facts for ourselves.
Theoretically wonderful, this was a somewhat disappointing trip. The guide was uninformed about the history of Berlin and more concerned with sharing his own opinions rather than facts. In addition, he frequently cycled ahead leaving the rest of the group struggling to navigate fast and heavy traffic and dangerous roads - this is not an excursion for the faint hearted. Luckily, my friend and I revisited sites today so we could read about the whole history of Berlin. To sum up - good for 3 hours exercise in the outdoors, poor if you want to find out any educational details.
Great tour around the city - Alex was great would definitely recommend Checkpoint Charlie, park, parliament, holocaust museum etc
The tour itself was ok to see Berlin. The tourguide was not clear with his stories , not amusing in his words. Afterwords we all feld like " what did he all tell us ? " and still not clear about Berlin itself.
We would Recommend this tour . Andy was brilliant…. Despite the rain he held our attention with facts and information…. We saw many historic sights during this tour.
Our tour guide Andy was brilliant. Very knowledgable and enthusiastic even in the rain! It was a nice touch to supply ponchos in the rain too. Really recommend the tour if it is your first time in Berlin as you get to see all main sights. Really recommend!’
Isabelle was an amazing tour guide and had so much to share about the city! You cover a lot of ground but interesting to see a lot of historical sites in the city!
Loved Niels, our guide. Very thorough and keen not just to show but inform about all the different places we stopped.
Patricia was amazing as our tour guide. I booked with my two girls, age 9 and 7 and felt cared for from the start. She had us at the front so she could keep my daughters safe and go at our pace. I’d been unsure about booking as I wasn’t very confident about whether we’d keep up; Patricia held such a safe inclusive space it was one of my favourite days as a parent. The weather was beautiful and cycling through the music filled squares feeling totally included and supported was incredible. Thank you so much.
Thoroughly enjoyable despite the light rain. Brendan was charming, humourous and an excellent guide. Highly recommended as a great way to see Berlin, learn some of its history and have fun.
Brendan was an excellent guide, giving us a really helpful overview of some of the main sights in central Berlin. We did this cycle tour on the first morning of our 6 day visit and it really helped to orientate ourselves to the city. The pictures used during the tour really helped explain the history, especially of the Cold War, and we were able to use Brendan’s recommendations to shape the rest of our week- for example the festival of lights which kicked off while we were visiting. The bikes were good, route mostly flat, helmets provided, even for huge heads like mine. Definitely recommend!
We loved our tour with Anthony. We learned so much that we wouldn't have if we had just gone to the sites by ourselves. Loved his local perspective with the historical information. Always love doing a bike tour since you can cover so much more than by a walking tour. Bikes were comfortable. Berlin was a great city for biking!
