We took the Third Reich tour. The guide's presentation was not very linear; most of the time it was difficult to follow his reasoning due to a lack of clarity in his explanation.

This memorial is located in the place from where the operation Valkyrie was directed and illustrate german resistance to National Socialism. The center's goal is to show how individual persons and groups took action against the National Socialist dictatorship from 1933 to 1945.
A Berlin's monument in memory of about 300,000 victims of the Nazis, people killed because of mental and physical disabilities or with chronic diseases. The Nazi eugenics program was known as T4, from the name of the office in Tiergartenstrasse n.4 from which it was directed. It is considered a precursor to the Holocaust.
It was the biggest European station at the end of 1800, today only the ruins destroyed during the Second World War remain. From the railway station departed many "death trains" from 1942 to 1945.
Otto Weidt also known as the Schindler from Berlin . Weidt hired Jewish workers - including blind and disabled employees - to save them from deportation to Nazi extermination camps. Its history is now remembered in the original location of the factory owned by Mr. Weidt.
The New Synagogue (Neue Synagoge) is one of Berlin's most significant Jewish landmarks. Built in 1866, to seat 3200 people as the largest Jewish place of worship in Germany, the Synagogue was literally a symbol of the thriving Jewish community.
The cemetry in Hamburger Straße was once the resting place of many famous members of Berlin’s Jewish community. It is now the oldest recognisable cemetery in the inner city. Today very little remains of the original place, the cemetery was destroyed during the Nazi period by the Gestapo.

The tour was very interesting and comprehensive. Andrea, our guide, illustrated a decidedly sad and difficult historical period with clarity and charm
Very interesting tour and our guide Andrea was very good and knowledgeable
Very good! An experience not to be missed!
Our guide Sueli was professional, competent, and friendly
Silvio made this trip very interesting, full of historical insights and real life. In a simple and profound way, yet light at the same time. A profound, prepared person, ready to answer. I recommend this historical trip to everyone Simona and Fabrizio (Bologna)
Our guide Céline was very professional and attentive; we felt the horror of that period and better understood what the population lived through during that time. Before that, we had done the "East Berlin" tour with Jean-Charles (I think), this tour was also really interesting. Thanks to these guides for their skills and for sharing their knowledge. I absolutely recommend it.
The Berlin and Third Reich tour with Andrea Tua was informative and interesting. Andrea explained the history and the places in detail with passion and professionalism. Thank you!
My daughter did a tour during her Erasmus in Berlin and recommended Paolo to me, saying he was the best. She was right!! Excellent, engaging, and extremely knowledgeable about both the history and architecture of the city. He is able to explain complex events clearly and with anecdotes that stick in your mind. This is not your typical "textbook" guide. He makes you experience Berlin. Highly recommended if you want to truly understand the city without getting bored for a second. Thank you, Paolo!
Our guide Vita was very professional and precise in telling us all the stages of our tour. Absolutely recommendable!
Good experience of Berlin alternative and east and wall. Terrible one with Silvio Nazi Berlin who lost a lot of time between personal considerations and stops with waste of time. Jewish Quarter .
We participated in the Reich third tour with Andrea who immediately involved us in the narration. I highly recommend this tour to get into the historic spirit of the city and to visit little-known places.
Seeing the invisible, introducing elements of complexity into a story that is often simplified into good and bad... really an illuminating and unprecedented tour.
Very interesting tour, guide who knows his work and history well. The 3 hours pass very quickly, I recommend.
A friend and I went on this tour on August 5. Despite the adverse weather conditions, we had an enriching experience, also thanks to Andrea, our extraordinary guide!
Particular tour, with different points of the city visited (there are several trips on public transport to do), good information received.
Italian tours are always worthwhile to understand the history and events. Our guide Fabio was SUPER!!!
Wonderful visit, well organized, easy to reach the departure friendly guide and not at all boring, has been able to make alive every stone of Berlin, great Sueli!
Five stars are not enough to do justice to the professionalism, passion and organizational excellence of Vive Berlin Tours. Special thanks go to Fabio and Paolo, who did not just guide us through the beauties of Berlin, but transformed our three-day trip into an intense, engaging and deeply meaningful cultural experience. With their impeccable preparation, ability to tell the story with empathy and sensitivity in creating authentic connections with places, they have far exceeded what is expected of a tour guide. They were able to intertwine historical facts, reflections and personal perspectives, making each stage not only interesting, but also emotionally and intellectually stimulating. Moreover, with great availability and attention, they provided us with valuable information on the place and practical advice, as well as useful documentation to independently deepen the topics covered: a commitment that clearly goes far beyond the duties of a guide. Without them, Berlin would have been just a city to visit; with them, it became a city to understand. Many thanks to Fabio, Paolo and all the Vive Berlin Tours staff. Cristina and Maurizio
We did the tour with Lorenzo, very good at presenting and explaining everything. I highly recommend it to everyone
Made this tour in conjunction with the visit to the memorial. Similar themes but pleasant to integrate with the visit of the highlights in Berlin on Jewish themes and the Nazi period. Lorenzo always drives impeccable even here.
Excellent work of the Guide, knowledge in the subject and spectacular places times and everything excellent, we really liked
Great Experience, we were a group of 8 people, with 2 teenagers, we chose the tour “Berlin indispensable” and it was very interesting to discover places, curiosities and events that allowed us to get to know this city a little better! Many thanks to our talented guide Vita, helpful, prepared and very nice! Recommended!
Thanks to the guide Lorenzo I was able to see what I knew about Nazism and I was able to confront a person much more experienced than me. Great tour!
Lorenzo wonderful man, educational and very explanatory. Very kind and very nice, he managed to involve us to such an extent that we were almost excited during some stages of the tour. He's basically the teacher we all deserved at school. Wonderful tour and wonderful person who guided us.
Highly recommended tour thanks to the guide Lorenzo, very kind and very prepared guy who kept us glued to the last. Three hours flying.
Spectacular visit, Lorenzo is a magnificent guide that shows parts of Berlin that make you better understand a city difficult to understand at first glance with an external eye and more objective, on some aspects, than what a German guide might have. I recommend to anyone visiting Berlin
A tour that you will not forget and that is really necessary. Nothing sensationalist or rhetorical. Rather, a journey through time and space to discover testimonies that without Silvio’s wise guidance, would fade into a distracted walk. Above all, it is a question of testimonies of people and their actions, in order to be able to know individual facts and gradually succeed in composing a first picture of this period that marked the history and destiny of the twentieth century, and of all of us.
We did this private tour with Silvio (Top for passion and preparation). It was very interesting, engaging..We discovered facts and situations of the historical period that we did not know
We visited and lived with Paolo the period from the end of the Second World War to the fall of the wall: he was great at making us understand how hard it was for people
During our trip to Berlin we took a tour with Vive Berlin Tours, we are great history buffs and we took advantage of the tour in Italian that tells about Nazi Germany. The tour was really very interesting, the very knowledgeable and pleasant Guide told us the story in its lesser known details, a great way to learn about the history of the German capital in this sad period that Europe has experienced. Absolutely not to be missed, organized tour very well never boring and affordable for everyone, even the youngest.
Federica , highly trained guide , very professional . Very interesting tour , we were with my 10 and 17-year-old sons who will surely, along with me , have a memory and an understanding of Nazism that you cannot have from books . I recommend it to everyone. Da non perdere !
Great tour, times and breaks well calibrated. Very prepared and professional Guide. Fair price also because we were a group.
A Passionate Guide who introduced us to history as you would never imagine, taking us to places full of events
We took a private tour of Nazi Berlin in Italian. Our Guide, Vita, was superb. Good, prepared, passionate, able to involve us and keep our attention high. Considering that we are talking about a difficult period of modern history she managed to approach the subject in an absolutely adequate way and without ever falling into easy rhetoric. She arrived early and finished after the scheduled time. At the end of the tour, he gave us tips to move around the city and especially showed us an "alternative" place to eat that we really enjoyed. Excellent Management of the Tour Reservation Phase.
I would like to recommend the tour organized by this association, which allowed us to retrace the places of the Cold War in depth. Our guide Zuleika was professional, competent, involved us without boring us and was very nice. I recommend comfortable shoes, you walk a lot but it's worth it
We had the pleasure of having Fabio as a guide. Very well prepared, he gave us a lot of interesting information Very helpful with questions and a great experience despite the rain and cold
We visited the city with the help of Paolo who acted as our guide for half a day and thrilled us with his historical knowledge both on the monuments and on the difference between West Berlin and East Berlin, before and after the fall of the Wall. The next day we went with Jacopo to the nearby concentration camp also with the contribution of his historical culture, being very well prepared on every issue, we experienced and learned various aspects of the visit in an in-depth and emotionally touching way. I highly recommend the experience!!!
Tour done well, friendly and knowledgeable guide, I highly recommend the tour!! Excellent organisation..!! Well done
I booked two group guided tours for January 4th and 5th, the essential Berlin tour and the Third Reich tour. Our guide was FEDERICA. What to say? EXCELLENT!! I am also a guide in Rome, I went to Berlin with my husband and my 11 and 13 year old children who were fascinated by the history of the city and by Federica's skill, passionate, engaging, helpful. The two tours were truly memorable, Federica did not spare herself in answering all our questions, even going well beyond the scheduled end time of the tour. The experience was beyond our expectations. Congratulations to Vive Berlin and Federica!
Excellent guide, very interesting, tells you things you wouldn't find in a guide, nice tour!!!!
Very good experience with Jean-Charles as guide. The information given was very interesting, complete, anecdotal and serious. Lots of respect for the questions addressed. Very pleasant guide, attentive to the needs of the group, respectful of the timing. The teenage girls who accompanied me enjoyed this guided tour despite its austere nature. They will remember it.
Both the Third Reich tour and the East Berlin tour are really interesting. They show you corners of Berlin that you would never have visited, highlighting the parts that are most worthy of relevance. Thanks to our guides Fabio and Giulia for showing us an alternative Berlin in a visit that was never boring or predictable. 10 and praise
Last week we were in Berlin, we relied on Vive Berlin and organized two private tours (we were a group of 13 people, half of which were children under 15). On the first day we did the bike tour with Lorenzo, who was very good at taking us to the most characteristic places of the city. His patience, preparation and empathy really impressed us: 3h30 literally flew by, we could have listened to him all day! The next day we met with Giulia for the Third Reich walking tour. Here too we found a very knowledgeable guide, who made us discover places and anecdotes that we would otherwise have missed. Thank you Giulia and Lorenzo for the passion you have conveyed to us and congratulations for your impeccable preparation and friendliness! Highly recommended tours
The tour of the most "hidden" places of Nazism was a very interesting and touching experience. The talented Giulia took us to places that we would otherwise never have noticed. Highly recommended!
Absolutely worth doing to get to know and visit places that are not easily found. Our guide (Giulia) was super thorough and very helpful in knowing how to listen and answer all our questions.
Very nice and well organized tour, we had Lorenzo as our guide, an expert guide, precise, available and attentive to the children's learning, he is absolutely competent in describing the events despite the delicacy of the themes... as soon as the tour was over we wanted to delve into other aspects also immediately booking the Cold War tour (always done with Lorenzo). Both highly recommended. The 3 hours of the tour fly by, despite walking quite a bit and there is always new information to learn about these events. The group was large but we managed to listen well even if the travel was distracting due to the fact that there were so many of us, but with public transport you can get around all the points of interest very well. We will definitely do more tours when we have the chance to return. Thank you very much.
Very interesting tour, both for the guide (Fabio) who, as well as being competent, conveyed to us a passion for the history and life of Berlin, and for the various neighborhoods visited which we would never have discovered without the tour. Thank you very much!
We took a tour in Italian about the Third Reich with Lorenzo, a truly engaging guide. My 11 year old son didn't miss a word! Highly recommended!
Tour led by Lorenzo, very prepared. Very interesting visit. Viveberlin is an excellent organization.
