The cruise is a bit overlong. The last 45 minutes or so take the ship through the industrial/unused shores of the Spree. You will be wanting to get off the boat ASAP by the end. If I was the tour operator I would skip this section of the Spree and just head straight back to the starting point along a reciprocal course.

Reviews
Service was great, food was even better. The city views were amazing, For the first day of the Berlin festival of lights
This was exactly what we needed after my husband ran the Berlin Marathon. It was a beautiful, relaxing evening where we could sit back, enjoy dinner, and simply enjoy being together. I had read reviews saying the boat was difficult to find, but that wasn’t our experience at all. We took an Uber using the provided address, looked over the bridge, saw a boat docked below, and there it was. The address took us right where we needed to be. The boat itself was exceptionally clean, and because they keep the number of passengers small, it never felt crowded. The staff was fantastic. We never had to flag down a waitress or ask for anything. They seemed to think of what we needed before we did. That kind of attentive service really added to the evening. I had also read complaints about not being able to hear the overhead commentary. Could we hear it? Nope. Did it matter? Not one bit. This is where I think expectations matter. If your primary goal is to learn the history of Berlin and get detailed explanations of everything you pass, book a guided sightseeing tour. Quite honestly, a knowledgeable guide is going to give you a much better experience for that purpose anyway. This cruise is about something different. It’s about slowing down, enjoying good food and drinks, taking in the beautiful architecture along the Spree, and having quality time with your spouse, family, or whoever you’re traveling with. And yes, the food is German. It’s not a cheeseburger from McDonald’s! We enjoyed it and thought it fit the experience perfectly. You still get a wonderful taste of Berlin from the water. In fact, seeing the Berlin Cathedral from the boat made such an impression on us that we decided to visit it later in our trip. The architecture along the river is stunning, and seeing it from this perspective was a wonderful introduction. If you want beauty, good food, attentive service, relaxation, quality time, and a great memory, book this cruise. If you want an in-depth sightseeing lesson, book a guided tour. For us, this was exactly what a sunset dinner cruise should be.
This is a good concept but for a guided Tour it is of no value. The staff was very kind and efficient, the food was nice and the drinks were good. But unfortunately for us, and some other people, the guiding along the sailing was missed because 90% og the guests were using this trip for family parties and other for playing cards and drinking with the guys, and young ladies for having a good night out. Noen of these people were interested in listening to the voice of a guided Tour. So consequently the noise were so loud that the few of us that were actually taking this boat Tour as a nice guided Tour, did not hear ANYTHING!!!! The other parties were so loud! So therefore it was a disapointing experience! So I do not think this should be advertised as a guided Tour for tourists. - Or those who were interested should been given AirPods or similar to be able to Get some historical inputs that would have given us 50% more value for money.
10/10 amazing food, amazing views, good people. Felt feeling full and satisfied. Great way to end the day.
A wonderful evening seeing Berlin from the river. Staff was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.
A little tricky to find but it's really just a matter of moving from the street level down to the river. Good food and drink and very accommodating servers.
Loved it!! The boat ride was wonderful!! The pot roast with mashed potatoes main dish was really good!!! The free flowing red wine was good!! Desert, really good! The only downside to this 12 table small dinner cruise is that you can't hear the commentary and get the history because it is played over a loud speaker that is drowned out by the dinners conversations. They really should put a speaker on each table. Do the Berlin historical tours before this one and you will totally enjoy this river cruise!!!
The service was excellent and the views were beautiful. The food was good. The only drawback was the very loud Viking River Boat group that totally overwhelmed the narrative of the sights. Not the operator's fault, but definitely detracted from the experience.
They are various options on other sites but this was definitely the best . Very friendly staff , food was excellent - beef was so tender. Even got a sunset !!
The boat was first class, great views of different landmarks, friendly staff and the food was superb
Easy communication and easy to locate the meeting point. Warm welcome and complimentary drink. Table linen clean and food was excellent. Great braised beef main and lovely bruschetta starter. Very chilled cruise that enjoys the view of Berlin. Would recommend.
The only reason it was not a 5 out of 5 is due to the other diners. My wife and I are not from Germany and we were really interested in hearing about Berlin’s history. The other diners spoke very loudly making it very difficult to hear the guide. Other than that it was excellent. Staff was very kind and the service was great. The food was awesome as was the atmosphere. We highly recommend this cruise.
Excellent boat trip. Money well spent. Food was really good and you could get drinks (beer/wine) refilled when needed. Staff was friendly. Only minus was the starting point which was a bit dark in the evening.
Simple straightforward food but done to a very good standard, loved the commentarys for the buildings which were not intrusive, very good value for money, our trip was early December and it was cold outside, however boat was nice and warm
Got a taxi from hotel to boat mooring as wasn’t sure of location. A bit dark getting from the road onto the boat. Needed to use torches on phone. We were a party of 6. Welcomed on board. Service was good. Food and drinks included were all OK. Hard to hear some of the recorded commentary due to conversations on other tables. Never the less a pleasant evening and pleased we booked the trip.
Fantastic food and the staff were friendly and efficient. Boat very clean. Great guide information. Lovely trip
The amazing people on this trip so graciously let us attend the cruise after mistakenly booking the wrong day, I can't thank them enough. Tour was great as was the food.
Food was good and tasty, not over the top but was a nice mix. Beverages like sparkling, wine and beer was included and staff handled refills and attention to the passengers.
The food was delicious with a friendly staff. Very interesting sights and great information. We had a great time.
Meh…. If you’ve never done a dinner cruise it might be worth doing but our family found it mediocre. Service was good but not spectacular and the food was pretty good but not delightful. Overall, not worth the money especially in Nov when the darkness of the night didn’t lend itself to sightseeing. We booked this because of all the great reviews and walked away disappointed. We didn’t see much of the city and could have had a nicer dinner in the city for half the price. So if you’re looking for a great tourist experience, this is not it.
The instructions were very clear. We arrived there without any problem. The four courses food was okay. The view of the river cruise was really not good at all. There’s no live guide at the boat, they just played a recorded version. The worst part was that we couldn’t see much along the river, the view was too dark, maybe something to do with saving electricity, only a few buildings were lighted. We didn’t enjoy the cruise at all and do not recommend this expensive cruise to anyone.
Food is really good as is the service. Plentiful supply of wine. My only criticism is the commentary could have been a bit louder
The staff were so polite and asked to refill our beverages regularly. The food was delicious and served hot.
Calm, relaxing, good food. Service was great and the ladies were nice. Captain did a good job of smooth driving.
We had a good experience. The boat was really nice and the staff was as well. The food was pretty good. We were greeted with a glass of prosecco upon arrival. The only thing we were confused about is that the email we got said that we were supposed to pick our entree upon booking and we never saw any option for that. We mentioned it to the staff and they said that if we didn’t, we automatically are given beef for the entrée. The beef was good. Views of city were good.
Beautiful sunset boat ride. When booking it was not clear on how to request a vegetarian or non-meat dinner. Otherwise overall experience was lovely.
Good experience and scenery commentary sound and content could do with a review to enhance the experience. Service and food both good.
The cruise was the highlight of my vacation in Berlin. I felt very pampered as my every need was seen to. The food was beyond delicious 😋. The trip was like floating on glass! It was a perfect experience 🥰
This was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. Amazing service, food, and drinks! The tour had unforgettable sights and wonderful information about the history of the areas. Highly recommend!
A really lovely evening to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. The food and service were excellent and the scenery was wonderful. Highly recommended.
Its a scam. We paid, went exactly where we were supposed to be. No.boat. please people do not get taken like we did. Do not book this.
We had seen Berlin from the land on a bus and we had seen it from the air at the top of the TV Tower, so what better way to finish our 4-day trip than by seeing Berlin go by from a river boat on a beautiful, sunny Sunday evening. Our boat floated serenely up the river towards the centre of Berlin while our glasses were kept full and a delicious 4-course meal was served. We started with bruschetta, followed by a delicious yogurt, cucumber and dill refresher before the main course of beef cooked in beer with potatoes and vegetables. The whole meal was rounded off with a coffee parfait. All the time we were eating there was a bilingual German/English commentary to accompany the trip but, unfortunately, it tended to be drowned out by a boisterous group of a dozen Australians at the front of the cabin. They did quieten down when asked but the noise level soon ratcheted up again and I gave up listening, which was a shame. However, this did not detract from a lovely experience which I can thoroughly recommend. The icing on the cake: I had forgotten my backpack on the boat, but the lovely lady who had been serving the food and drink (I’m sorry I did not catch her name) came to look for me on the bank where we were waiting for our taxi. Fantastic service all round!
Firstly I would like to say how wonderful the hosts were on the cruise. The issues we had were due to location of the pick up and drop off point. We arrived early to be faced with a park with no signs and in complete darkness, we spotted a bar and went for a drink and then returned to the pick up point. At this time the boat could be seen by the river bank, but the walk down to it was very dark with unlevel steps. At the end of the cruise we had the same issues with the darkness and now no idea where to get a taxi from. The cruise itself was fine but with only 10 people there wasn't a great atmosphere particularly compared to some of the larger party boats we saw on the journey. The food was fine and served at appropriate intervals during the journey and you could ask for drinks when ever you wanted one. It was a good experience and a way to see Berlin from a different view point, but don't expect a party atmosphere.
Excellent food and service! Excellent facilities and crew was friendly and very eager to please. Highly recommend for an additional activity in Berlin!
Not impressed with the food or the service which was abrupt and catered in a much more friendly manner to German guests. The food was basic at best and when we asked for another glass of wine the lady server was very aggressive and unfriendly before she eventually agreed to serve us but she was very attentive around German guests. The commentary might have been good but you couldn’t hear a thing and at night we could see virtually anything anyway. It sounds great to cruise the river and have dinner , and it is if your in Paris but in Berlin sadly it wasn’t the same. If we all had to rate this it was a 4/10. This isn’t worth the money folks and they certainly need to improve their customer skills.
It was a lovely evening with a good dinner and excellent service from the wait staff. The sights we saw along the way were enlightening.
Nice staff, friendly and helpful! Food was lovely, nice wine. Commentary however was impossible to hear so disappointed from that point of view
Sunset Dinner Cruise WARNING – I just lost $213.98 USD because of VERY poor meet-up instructions. Tried to find this location for 1 ½ hours and ask numerous locals and did not find meet-up location. Tried to contact, left message and ask them to call me….. they replied via Viator and did not get until after the cruise left…… VERY difficult to would with in my option….. there are a ton of other dinner cruises out there and I would highly recommend choosing another….Viator was no help in resolving this issue……. BUYER BEWARE……………..

The food was amazing and the service was excellent!! Tour was beautiful. We will definitely come back
Good food and wine. Comfortable but the dinner is loud. Not a lot to see like other cities but still enjoyable
Beautiful sights. The food was mediocre, the staff were friendly but understaffed. Overall, I would not recommend for the price. Save the $250+ fir a couple and go to dinner elsewhere in Berlin.
Middling experience. The food was sub par, the sights were mostly office buildings, limited drink options if you don’t drink alcohol. The service was very good and it was well run just not worth $100 a ticket.
My wife and I had a great evening on the cruise. The crew were very friendly and were quick to respond with requests. The food was good and the portions plentiful. There are restrooms towards back of boat near the bar area which are easily accessible.
It was very relaxing, great atmosphere. The food was excellent; fabulous to see the city lit up, lots of the buildings have beautiful lights on at night. Shame we couldn't hear the English commentary because of people talking very loudly. It was a great night😃
We couldn’t hear the audio tour because people were drunk and coughing the entire tour. Kind of a bummer with the loud talker. It rained and the windows fogged up about half way through.
It was lovely evening food was delicious 😋 server's were very nice and look after us well, with it going from light to dark it was pleasant
The boat ride was a good experience, enjoy the site's. The dinner was good , also the service. The boat is not centre Berlin, we need to take a taxi which add to our cost.
Servers were fantastic! Food was great! Difficult to hear the recorded voice giving tourist information, possibly due to lively conversations of patrons. Scenery beautiful! Cruise relaxing and enjoyable. Definitely recommend.
