The sites were great, the company and guide were professional and the cost was reasonable, but our guide was very hard to understand. We have had many tours in the past, but if your guide does not speak loud and has a difficult accent to understand the tour is a bust.

We were very, very impressed by the quality of our guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable, I believe a PHD. The route was well designed to give us an overview of many top historical sites in Berlin. It moves right along so best for those who can walk at a pretty swift pace. My husband has a bad knee and was a bit challenged by the walking as there are not places to stop and sit while the guide is speaking. If we were to do it again he'd bring one of those light folding stools.
Maggie was knowledgeable, engaging, sensitive to the subject matter, and easy to hear and keep up with (important on a walking tour)
Excellent guide. Very knowledgeable. Provided a great overview of the history of Berlin.
Excellent guide with very good knowledge of the history of the city. Lots of stories and pictures to keep us entertained along the way!
Steve was an awesome guide. Knowledge, funny, and personable, he was able to convey so much about Germany during the Third Reich and the Cold War in a two-hour leisurely walk. I’d consider myself a WWII history buff but I definitely learned some things from Steve that I didn’t know before. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking to take in some sights and knowledge in a morning or afternoon in Berlin.
Daniel shared his vast knowledge of German history, architecture, and people that shaped the stories of Berlin. He had a great pace, which allowed for a few quick questions, helped with photos, and even made a short WC break. His bag full of maps and pictures helped me understand how Berlin and Germany have developed.
Ben was terrific. He was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about German history from the 19th century to the present. I would highly recommend the tour.
We did the Third Reich and Cold War tour with Tina which was excellent. So good that we also booked the Cold War tour (with Maria - also great) and opted to join a group for Sachsenhausen (with Daniel - great) rather than go on our own. Book direct - cheaper, and more money goes to the company not a middle man
nickolai was the best! so funny and informative great tour all around showed us everything and explained in great detail how it was all connected made it easy to understand
Amazing experience, our guide "Campbell " was very well informed, educated and clear with his stories and information. He helped us to make a connection with what we saw and understand the experience better. PS, the tour company is lucky to have Campbell working for them and we we're lucky to have him as our guide.
Xavier was a really interested, knowledegable and enthusiastic historian. He was personable and keen to answer any questions. He supplemented the tour with some very good visuals on a tablet. The tour is very manageable for all levels.
AMAZING!! Artie was such a great Tour guide. He was very knowledgeable, answered all of our questions. All of the groups questions. He knew dates. He knew times of events that happened. We saw the wall, we saw checkpoint. Charlie, we saw monuments. I cannot say enough about Artie. You must take this tour!
Great tour. Very informative for it only being 2 hours and was able to ask a few questions without running short of time. The guide was very enthusiastic and actually reminded me a bit of a professor ive had
Wonderful wonderful tour with the amazing Eran as our guide! He was so informative and we learned so much about the history and "context" behind all of the sites we visited. Plus, Eran recommended an amazing Israeli restaurant that we enjoyed the next day. We highly recommend!
We really enjoyed this walking tour. It was very interesting. Our guide was Klaus and he was really knowledgeable. Berlin is a fantastic city to visit and this walk added so much more to it. Thank you x
Very informative and very interactive. Campbell was a great guide and packs a lot of history and humour into a short 2 hours.
Campbell did a great job. Informative, funny at times but great information in general and we learned a lot. He is a keeper for your company. Well done.
Very informative tour. The guide Paul was extremely knowledgeable. Very friendly as well. Highly recommend to anyone.
Fantastic experience. We came for 3 day city break and this covered all the main sites worth visiting. Xavier was ver knowledgeable and covered everything. Even though it was 2 hours listed it was more like 2.5 but that didn’t matter as you were so engrossed. Definitely do this tour if you want to cover main sites!
Our guide was (Candian) Chris and he was brilliant. Really knowledgeable, personable, and funny. The tour was the perfect amount of time and the walking was at a good pace.
A really informative tour. We were a family group with a mixture of adults who knew the city well and children visiting for the first time. Our guide, Tina, pitched her talk for everyone. Wed highly recommend.
Excellent guide and a wonderful way to see the city
This was fantastic! Our guide was knowledgable and engaging. We had a great time learning about the history.
We had a brilliant tour guide Chris ( from Toronto) Our 14 and 16 year old really enjoyed it too. Chris has been working as a tour guide in Berlin for 10 years and it shows. His level of knowledge, stories, and anecdotes and ability to portray the very human stories behind the facts & figures was so interesting. Highly recommend this tour. We didn't want it to end!
I had a wonderful 2-hour Berlin city tour with Emma! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the tour fun and interesting. We learned a lot about Berlin’s history and the best facts. Highly recommended!
We took the tour with our guide Campbell, an excellent, funny and knowledgeable guide. The tour took us through the modern history of Berlin in a constantly interesting manner. Both our older kids enjoyed it a lot, while the 12-year old sometimes had a hard time following the english. Authetic historical photographs was a well embedded part of the tour, which made the history of the historical places more vivid. It was a great tour, the best experience we had in our Berlin-trip. Dont miss it.
Interesting tour, our guide Tina was great.
Very engaging, fun and educational experience. Tour guide is very funny and amazing at his job. Learned a lot and everyone had really fun. All credit to CANADIAN Chris, the GTGIAOB (Greatest Tour Guide In All Of Berlin) 👏👏👏 not to be confused with Chris number 2…
Our tour guide Jimmy was incredible, I cannot sing his praises enough. He was so knowledgeable and so engaging. We never wanted the tour to end! It was worth every penny.
Excellent. Good communication ahead of tour, very knowledgable and sees all the sights. Very impressed
We found this tour to be so very interesting. Our tour guide Rohan was very knowledgeable. He provided many details along the way that I would not have ever known about this time in history and the tour locations we visited. He was considerate to make sure our group could always hear his voice. Time well spent.
Great walking tour of Berlin sites related to WW2 and Cold War. So interesting and worked for all of us (family of four with older children).
A really engaging tour run by a very charismatic man called Jasper. In just over 2 hours we engaged with so much history, which otherwise we may have simply walked past! Great content, but the guide made the experience. Thank you.
Paul was very informative and engaging. This was our first day in Berlin. The tour gave us a good deal of history and views of a few important landmarks.
We were taken by Callum on a 2 hour plus tour of the City landmarks and given an excellent and clear history of Berlin . The tour covered key sites around the city centre with an explanation of the rapid rise of Hitler and the Nazis and the eventual fall of Berlin to the Russians . It also covered the impact of the SS and the Gestapo on the German people and then finished off with a visit to Checkpoint Charlie and explanation of the Cold War. Callum gave us much detail in a clear and effective way and was very open to questions . I couldn’t recommend this tour more , especially to kick off your short break to Berlin.
The content and sites visited were very interesting. Ben the guide was excellent. I felt two hours for the tour was just right
We really enjoyed the tour! Jasper was very out going and knowledgeable. We learned a lot! Highly recommend it!
The worst coordination ever - no one was at the meet up location when I got there 3 minutes before the meet up time. The operator said the guide is a red hair - that’s hilarious - who would use red hair as a sign for meet up and it’s not described in the meet up description in Tripadvisor app. Completely wasting your time and money. I did my own tour with AI tour guide.
We had a fantastic tour with Jasper. His local knowledge & insights made the tour really enjoyable. His enthusiasm for his home city was infectious! The pacing of the tour was just right & he made sure we had time at each stop to ask questions & take photos. Highly recommend Jasper!
This was a fantastic tour led by Jasper. Extremely interesting and varied, Jasper was very knowledgeable and gave us a great insight into the history of Berlin and the experiences of Berliners. Would highly recommend.
Outstanding guide and tour. Perfect pace for a thorough fact filled look at Berlin. One of the best tours we’ve ever taken!
Very knowledgeable guide is Klaus gave excellent information about the history and culture of the time
Klaus was very knowledgeable but at times it was difficult to hear him with the background traffic noise.
Had an amazing experience with Tina! Really enjoyed it and would happily recommend it to other travellers. Thank you, Tina, for such a memorable time!
This walking tour was excellent value for money. The tour took us to all of the places that I wanted to see, along with some others that I simply wouldn’t have discovered on my own. Irish Paul (as he asked to be known), was an excellent tour guide, incredibly knowledgeable, providing a great background and insight into each location, which he kept to the point, making it interesting and informative. I really do recommend booking into this tour, even as a solo traveller like I was, it was simply fantastic.
Had a great experience with the tour guide. The tour lasted 2 hours and we covered all the main spots in the city comfortably. Would definitely recommend!
It was an amazing tour, I had a very limited understanding of the Third Reich and the Cold War but after experiencing this tour I have a much deeper understanding of what happened in the past and making sense of it in Present day. Our tour guide Klaus was exceptionally knowledgeable A must do if visiting Berlin
Joachim was extremely knowledgeable and was able to offer his own insight into the facts and stories he shared. It was cool learning about the impact on current German culture that so many of these things had.
Great walking tour our excellent tour guide Klaus was friendly and engaging sharing his extensive knowledge and encouraging us to ask questions if anything came up. Couldn’t believe when we finished the tour that the 2 hours was over it went by so fast. Definitely recommend.
