Great location, within a short walking distance of Alexanderplatz and the main sights. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was good. We stayed in a family room, which was a good size. The only things we didn’t like were the carpet covering the entire floor of the room and the fact that there was only one bathroom, even though the photos showed two.

First mistake - I looked for a hotel near Berlin city and thought that Berlin Mitte as in the hotel name was near by the city center. Second mistake - I accidentally booked the room for one person instead of two, and the hotel kindly upgraded us free of charge from a Comfort-Plus Room to a Junior Suite, as the comfort room was unavailable which I appreciated. But if I knew the standard for room I would have said, thank you, but I'm not interested at all and found another hotel. I don’t understand how a stay that costs over 250 EUR for one night justifies this hotel's 4-star rating. The room furniture and interior are outdated and not modern, it felt rather cold and impersonal, and it did not encourage us to relax and enjoy spending time there. The room had a strange smell, and there was dust and cobwebs in the ceiling, the TV was small and old but at least two of them. The small kitchen, was functional but not very nice - I had just stayed at the Adina Apartment hotel in Nürnberg 200 meter from the old city, where there was a kitchen smaller than this contained washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, induction and oven with pots and pans etc. and had a luxury bathroom, kingsize bed, big tv, spa area, gym, parking etc. for half the price than this - I know this is Berlin, and the lobby and entrance looked very fancy, but if you expect 4 star luxury hotel, I can tell you, this is not…
We stayed in Berlin for five nights on a short family holiday. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is next to the Volkspark, which is a great place for families. Bus 200 goes to lots of popular tourist spots, Tram M4 is a direct route to the Hbf. The neighbourhood is nice and quiet. They were doing work on the balconies, but it didn't bother us because they were only working during the day. Very good value for Money.
Everything about our stay here was excellent. The staff are friendly and very helpful, especially the front desk. They were patient with my Deutsch and kind when needing to use English for me. The room was very nice, clean, comfortable, and maintained well throughout our 7-night stay. The breakfast has a nice variety and the dining room provides a nice atmosphere. Great location. Quick access to public transportation and a dedicated area for cars when we had to use Uber. This hotel is easy to recommend!
We stayed at this 4-star hotel in Berlin and unfortunately our experience did not meet expectations. The first room lacked basic facilities (no thermostat, no proper bathroom ventilation and we did not feel the room was adequately secured). We were offered a second room, but it was in worse condition and the bathroom extractor was not functioning despite being told it was “automatic”. The hotel eventually provided a €100 discount and late check-out, which we appreciate. However, the following morning at breakfast we experienced another uncomfortable situation. We arrived at 10:30 (breakfast closes at 11:00) and were asked to sit in a separate room, supposedly because we might stay longer. Shortly after, another couple arrived and was not given the same instruction. This felt like unequal treatment and left us uncomfortable. Overall, this experience did not reflect 4-star standards, especially considering the price paid (€253 per night). I hope the hotel reviews its service consistency and guest treatment.
