Best hotel for me un Berlin.. Awesome staff, rooms, everything Really i am very hard to satisfy on hotels. This one is a slam dunk. Very spacious rooms. Very clean bathrooms. Towels in fresh new state. Two comments however 1) the gym is fairly small and simple 2) air condition in the rooms is not the American one. It reduces the outside temp by 6 degrees. Sometimes the room was too hot at day. I would consider it mid summer Location is near the zoo/park. 10 min walk from central streets. Check the maps Overall, very very recommended. Thanks for a great staff on all teams of the place

We had a very pleasant 3 night stay at Das Stue. The hotel is beautiful and in a quiet location next to the Tiergarten. Our junior suite was very spacious, had lots of natural light and was in excellent condition. The hotel has a nice bar and a really delicious breakfast. Staff are friendly and professional. The swimming pool is very nice and great to have in a city hotel. No private parking facilities, only on-street parking.
We booked "The Stue" in Berlin for two nights, but unfortunately our experience was very mixed. What we liked was the beautiful location in the historic embassy district next to Tiergarten, the character of the building, and the staff, who were consistently polite, friendly and genuinely tried to help. Unfortunately, several issues made our stay disappointing. For a hotel in this price category, it is surprising that there is no on-site parking. With some luck you can find street parking nearby, but it still costs over €40 per day. The biggest problem was the air conditioning. It didn't work in our original suite, so we were moved to another room. Unfortunately, the air conditioning there didn't work either. Even worse, the replacement room had only a tiny floor-level window, so dirty that there was virtually no view at all. The spider webs around suggested the room had either not been occupied for some time or had not been cleaned thoroughly. Despite setting the temperature to 18°C and the system running at full power all night, our room remained around 28°C, making it very difficult to sleep. The following morning we stepped outside and realized it was actually pleasantly cool outdoors, confirming that the cooling system simply wasn't doing its job. When we reported the problem, we were offered yet another room. However, this room also felt warm and was significantly smaller than the suite we had booked. We were told the air conditioning "needed some time after check-in" to cool the room. If that is the case, the hotel should ensure rooms are pre-cooled before guests are asked to move because of a faulty air-conditioning system. At that point we decided we had had enough and cancelled the second night. To the hotel's credit, they allowed us to do so without charging us for the second night. Breakfast was another disappointment. We arrived about an hour before the advertised closing time, yet roughly half of the buffet had already disappeared and was not replenished. In the end, we paid approximately €530 for one night plus €45 for parking, which represents very poor value considering the experience. The location and the staff deserve praise, but the lack of functioning air conditioning, the room issues, parking situation and disappointing breakfast mean that, unfortunately, we cannot recommend The Stue.
The top floor Embassy room with a large balcony was very well designed. Breakfast and lunch at the restaurant and terrace were both very good. Service, especially concierge / guest services recommendations and arrangement, was exceptionally good. Mattia, the head of guest services, provided exception advice for restaurants, walks, and neighborhoods to explore. We’ll be back!
We stayed at Das Stue in Berlin for a weekend and really enjoyed it. The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully curated — ours faced the Tiergarten and even overlooked two donkeys, which was a fun and unexpected touch. Although we didn’t spend much time in the room since we were mostly out exploring the city, it was a very comfortable place to come back to. The common areas, especially the lobby and bar, are beautifully designed and feel relaxed rather than formal. The cocktails at the bar were excellent, and it was a great spot to pause for a drink before heading out in the evening. We also used the spa, which is well done and straightforward, with a nice swimming pool and sauna. The Susanne Kaufmann signature massage was particularly pleasant and relaxing. The bike rentals were a great addition — we ended up cycling into the city every day and night, and riding through the park right next to the hotel was especially enjoyable. The location worked really well for us: quiet, facing the park, and slightly removed from the main tourist areas while still being easy to reach everything. Overall, a fantastic stay and somewhere we would happily return.
