We visited the hotel as a family of 4 in our way from Hannover to Poznan just to split the distance. I was a bid sceptical before booking because of mixed reviews online but the lovely location was too good to miss. Great views to the lake, top breakfast, hanging swing chair in our room had the kids all excited, beatiful walk in nature around the hotel and a lovely indoor pool is what we managed to enjoy within a day. We will be probably visiting for a longer stay in the future.

****Fraud warning**** Booking via booking.com app. There was an automatic reducing room type without notice. The customer found it and have to compare with the picture from the hotel website, then successfully complain. The hotel offered cash in return, without other available room types or better options.
We arrived at the hotel around 7pm and were greeted warmly by the reception staff, which gave a good first impression. Our room was on the first floor and, while very basic, it was clean enough for a short stay. The room itself felt a little dated, with older mattresses and fairly basic bedding and pillows. There were no tea/coffee-making facilities or a fridge, which is a shame. We had a look around the hotel and overall it’s a nice place to relax and spend time. The bowling alley looked fun, although €25 for a basic game felt quite expensive, so we skipped that. We did visit the spa, which was a highlight of the stay. The pool was warm and inviting, and the whole area was clean and well maintained. The steam room and sauna were also nice, and although nudity was allowed there, everyone wore swimwear in the pool area. There are only a few loungers by the pool, which could feel a bit limited if the spa were busy, but it was quiet when we visited in the evening. The changing rooms and showers were clean and well kept. The bar area itself is a really pleasant, relaxed space, great for unwinding. However, service was crazy slow, I think it was understaffed. More attentiveness would have made the experience much better…and I would have bought more drinks if they had been more attentive. Breakfast was very enjoyable. The staff were friendly and efficient, keeping everything well stocked and tidy. There was a good variety of options, with something to suit most tastes. Nothing extra, it was basic, but nice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found the hotel comfortable and relaxing, particularly the spa and breakfast. With some updates to the rooms and a bit more focus on customer service in certain areas, it could be even better. I would consider staying again.
The worst hotel experience ever in Germany! Stay away from this hotel. Extremely disappointing experience. I booked a room for three people, but when I arrived, there was only one bed — absolutely not suitable for three guests. This is clear false advertising. There were no hotel staff at the reception, only a security guard who didn’t know what to do. I couldn’t contact any manager or get any assistance. Even though I canceled the booking within 30 minutes, the hotel charged the full amount and refused to issue a refund. The hotel manager was very arrogant and rude — I have never experienced anything like this before. Honestly, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had in Germany. I strongly believe this property should not be listed on Booking.com until they correct their misleading descriptions and improve their customer service.
I must say that I'm not a hotel snob first and foremost. But they handled our incoming group of 130 people with minimal snags. Everyone on the staff was nice and courteous. I really liked being able to walk a short distance and stand on a nice dock in the sun, literally just out the back door. Breakfast was just fine. Staff there awesome. I recommend it to anyone with large groups of kids because of the location. Close enough to Pottsdam
