A Top-Tier Berlin Stay! We recently completed a 4 night stay at this outstanding hotel, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The rooms were wonderfully spacious, complemented by a top-notch modern bathroom. Its location couldn't be better, an ideal base for exploring everything Berlin has to offer. What truly sets this hotel apart is its exceptional service and hospitality. Every team member, from the dedicated housekeeping staff to the management, was genuinely warm and welcoming. The luxury breakfasts were a daily highlight, serving quality and variety far beyond what we anticipated. A special shoutout goes to the fantastic bar team: the brilliant local German bartender and the equally fantastic bartender originally from India. Their charm, skill, and hospitality perfectly capture the warm ethos of the hotel and made our evenings truly memorable. Thank you all for an unforgettable stay. We cannot recommend this place highly enough!

This was our first time staying at this chain. We booked 3 rooms. Check in was easy. Each room had issues. Neither room had enough towels, one room had a filthy toilet and the other room had not been cleaned at all. We had dirty coffee cups, empty water bottles, full trash cans and dirty towels. I complained to the front desk and was told they would take care of it. We returned hours later, at around 9pm and the only thing they did, was empty the trash cans. The front desk apologized but room service was no longer around, so a manager came to clean up the dirty dishes and gave us towels. When something like that happens, it doesn’t matter how everything else in that hotel was.

My husband and I stayed for six nights on a TUI package in “junior suite” 4049. Our experience was good, though there were some lapses of detail which were disappointing in a four-star rated hotel. The central location is excellent for sightseeing in Berlin, with Mendelssohn-Bartholdy-Park metro station (line U2) next door. The bed was comfortable. I found the radiused (curved) corners to the furniture gimmicky and unfunctional, demanding attention to avoid dropping small items off the edges onto the floor. The air conditioning generally coped well with very hot weather, though a couple of degrees cooler would have been nice in the very hottest phase. We chose the “alternate days” option for room servicing, so this should have been done on days 2 and 4. The suite was not serviced at all during our stay. Cleanliness was impeccable when we arrived. Breakfast options were generally good, though on one morning the hash brown potatoes were an unappetising mush rather than crisp and separate. Personally I find juicing machines pretentious and time-consuming. The ready-squeezed juice had a slightly synthetic taste. The breakfast sparkling wine was rather flat, even from a fresh bottle. There was a spurious incident on check-out. The staffer alleged that “two credit card transactions had been declined”. This was impossible, as at no time did we tender a credit card at the hotel. Fortunately a manager immediately over-ruled the allegation, but this was a moment of unnecessary stress. Aesthetics are of course a matter of personal taste, but I find the beige/magnolia/cream/off-white scheme dreary and not very durable. The corridor carpets have a bizarre pattern, apparently designed to conceal all dirt! Overall, staff were courteous and pleasant. I would recommend the hotel, but attention to these matters of detail would boost it to a truly four-star experience.

The hotel offered a very pleasant stay with a fantastic location, within walking distance of many must-see Berlin landmarks. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The hotel is also dog-friendly, which was a great bonus — my dog even had treats waiting for him in the room. Breakfast was a delicious buffet with a great variety of options. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.
