The hotel is in a nice part of the city. Clean and modern. The sauna and pool were a nice feature, lovely rooftop views over the city. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. We did not receive robes or slippers in our room upon check-in and had to ask reception to provide. We also had to ask for more body wash because housekeeping did not refill. Apart from that - we enjoyed our stay!
We enjoyed the stay in SANA. It is conveniently located, very close to subway. We got excellent rooms, spacious and very quiet, looking at the back court. The only issue was that the mattress was too firm for me. It was promptly resolved with additional topper.
I generally had a good stay. The room is big with decent amenities, and the service is good. However, I felt that both the rooms and the spa area didn't quite live up to the photos. The pool is very narrow (maybe 1m wide), so it's only enough for one person. The room was also more basic than I was expecting, given that it is billed as luxury. Nonetheless, I would recommend the hotel.
I stayed at SANA for two nights on my trip to Berlin and had an excellent experience. The room itself is large and clean with a comfortable bed, nice touches and a great shower. The staff are great - friendly, and helpful with any queries I had such as getting something printed, or bringing something I asked for to my room, always greeting you as you pass by, it makes a nice atmosphere. The breakfast has a wide selection of food and is definitely worth it. I also had lunch one day and the food was very tasty. The hotel itself has a lovely bar area with soft seating and an outdoor patio area. They have a pool and spa which I didn’t end up using but it’s great to have the option. The hotel is close to several u bahn stations and a 15 minute walk from the zoo, it was very easy to get around. As a solo female traveller attending concerts in the evening coming back to the area alone at night I felt safe. Overall I’m really happy with my experience here and would definitely stay again!
The stay was very good, and we can recommend the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel looked nice and tidy. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection, however, I would add some more savoury options, the majority of options were sweet, which is not great if you don't want to eat sugar for breakfast. More egg and meat options would be appreciated. The only concern was the spa/swimming pool area. I chose the hotel mainly because the swimming pool was available, which is a difficult find; however, the swimming pool experience was disappointing. The spa & swimming pool rules were clearly displayed and visible but most of the people did not follow them. Understandably, you may be naked in sauna but the rules clearly said no nudity around the pool and no naked swimming - sadly, many people did not respect it and it was very uncomfortable to swim surrounded by all the nudity. Also, some guests were drinking alcohol around the pool which was not allowed neither. I believe more monitoring should be dedicated to the spa area as it was left alone and people did what they wanted. I mentioned the above at the end of our stay to one of the staff member who was very apologetic for the experience, but it could not change what actually happened. Overall, the hotel experience was very good, with just the spa/swimming pool concern.
