Beautiful hotel, stayed 3 nights in a superior room, room was large, very comfortable, quiet, and beautifully designed. Good location, close to Potsdamer Platz, several u-bahn stations in east walking distance, easy connections to Hbf, ZOB, or airport. Lot’s of restaurants and food options nearby. Staff friendly, polite and effective. Would definitely stay here again.

We booked a twin room because the hotel seemed not too far from the city center, but what we saw when we arrived was really disappointing. The first thing we noticed was a huge painting hanging above the bed. We honestly could not even tell if it was supposed to be a panda or a sea urchin, but it looked so dark and creepy, like something from a horror movie. The way it stared at us gave us chills. Seeing that picture at night was genuinely uncomfortable and even a bit scary. Then we noticed that the curtains were torn and full of visible holes. The sofa also had large dirty stains on it, which made the room feel very neglected and unclean. Another thing that made us uncomfortable was the enormous mirror covering almost half of the room. It honestly gave us the feeling that someone could be watching us through it, which was very unsettling. The bathroom was also disappointing because the floors were dirty, as if they had not been cleaned properly for a long time. The only thing we actually liked was the coffee machine in the room — the coffee was surprisingly good, so at least there was one positive thing during our stay. Our stay was wonderful! We only stayed for one night, but definitely not for the last time. Everything was perfect from the very beginning, the reception staff were kind, polite and very helpful. A special thank you for allowing us to check in a couple of hours earlier than 3 pm. The rooms were clean, well-maintained and the design and renovation were very pleasant and tasteful. Highly recommend!
