Good location, next to train and tram station. Had a standard room. However, rooms and room servicing are at a bare minimum. Has a nespresso machine in the room, but need to ask the reception each day to get refill pods, apparently room service doesnt refill when the room is cleaned. No hot water kettle provided in the room. Breakfast was included, but basic with limited hot food options.
Have stayed twice & enjoyed our time there. Fab views from room. Useful location right by TV Tower. Staff are professional, helpful & friendly. Has convenience shelves & fridges down by Reception but bit expensive. There is Netto Supermarket in Shopping centre across the square cheaper. Right close to Alex Restaurant and opposite Beast Restaurant, Train Station. Shopping Centre on Ground floor is bit odd but useful. Spa Massage was fab. There's a roof swing! We stayed on floor 31. Was sad to leave though I found the frosted glass of bathroom odd! Gave me more pillows I requested. Was a lovely stay.
The hotel is located in Alexanderplatz in Berlin. Easy access to everywhere. Train station within walking distance to anywhere in the city and also to the central station from which you can get anywhere in Germany. The rooms are large and spacious, well equipped. Very comfortable bed, air conditioning and even a coffee machine. Breakfast has many types of cheeses, sausages, meats, pastries and cereals.. A great option is the check inn in from home. You arrive at the hotel, and at the self-service machine you receive the entrance card to the room. Check-out can be done by placing the card in a box, without having to spend time in line
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area and access nearby attractions. The breakfast selection was also very good, with plenty of tasty options to choose from each morning. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The only area that could be improved is the cleanliness of the room. While it was generally acceptable, paying more attention to cleaning details would make the stay even better.
This hotel is very large and corporate but is in a great location (near Alexanderplatz station for both S-bahn and U-bahn). Within 500m of this hotel there are a huge selection of shopping and dining options, some, literally 10yds away. So, for a weekend trip this is super for convenience. The service for the price paid is, at best, lacklustre. As with many hotels now, you have to 'book' to have your room serviced, and even then in our experience, that is carried out a day late. They did not refresh the water or the coffee in our room, even when it was serviced and when we reported our fridge as not working, the reception response was "we were very lucky to have a fridge". In all fairness, it was fixed the following day, only to fail again the subsequent day. The shower fluctuates between cool and extremely hot, irrespective of fiddling with the controls. The towels are a very long way from being fluffy and luxurious. More abrasive and threadbare tbh. I expected to pay a premium due to the location and the generous room size, however, I really didn't feel the service matched the price tag. In summary, great central location, comfortable rooms and a reasonably priced bar. This hotel definitely lacks top notch service throughout - at best it's simply functional.
