Leonardo Hotel Berlin Mitte

great service. everyday i would walk into my room and feel like i was just checking in. everything clean, folded, fresh crisp towels and linens. bathroom spotless. free apple each day was much appreciated. lots of free coffee(instant in the room, fresh drip.in the.lobby. location was great.

This is my 3rd visit to the Leonardo Mitte and it's the only hotel I choose in Berlin and that's because of its fantastic location. One of Berlins main train stations is across the river Spree, Friedrichstraße, so you can easily access most parts of Berlin via the S & U lines. Museum Island, Reichstag and most of the historical sights are all within walking distance. Bars, restaurants and Theatres right on your doorstep, the location is simply brilliant. The hotel itself is nice and good quality with excellent staff, although this time around we did have issues. As an Advantage Club member you should be able to access a free room upgrade, subject to availability of course, this didn't happen on this occasion. We also opt not have the room cleaned during our stay, you know, save the environment etc etc... However, this leaves you with no tea and coffee in the room, granted I could have asked for some, but there should be a facility where we can request additions from the rooms electronic tablet, but that's just a small gripe. The major issue this time and has been for my previous visits in 2024 and 2025, there is always maintenance on the lifts, making getting around the floors challenging. Obviously, this isn't entirely the hotels fault and luckily we are both pretty fit and the stairs work well. Those were small annoyances and in general the rooms are nice and the beds comfy with a great shower, pretty much all you need after a long day sightseeing. Check-out is late at 12 noon, which is fantastic and the hotel has a baggage storage facility, which is great if you have a later departure or you want to squeeze some more sightseeing in. That wraps up another absolutely fantastic stay in this amazing City and the Leonardo Mitte location is key to our enjoyment. Auf Wiedersehen and we will be back :)

The hotel's location is commendable, situated in a quiet and safe area that offers convenient access to the train station and various tourist attractions. I found the staff to be exceptionally attentive and responsive to my needs. The breakfast provided was outstanding, and I was pleased with the high level of cleanliness in my room. The location of this hotel is slap bang in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Berlin - right on the river with bars and restaurants on the doorstep. You also have the train station, tram stop, subway, bus stop and water taxis all within a minute's walk. If you are happy to walk, you have access to all of Berlin's attractions within a 30 minute walk along the side of the river or down one of the main roads that are lined with shops, cafes and restaurants. We flew into Berlin Brandenburg airport and the public transport was easy to navigate to the hotel. We bought a Berlin Welcome Card (zone ABC) which covered the use of public transport for the length of our stay, plus some attractions offer discounts with this. The hotel is modern with an easy check in and check out process. Our flight home was 10pm and the hotel were happy to look after our bags after check out at 12pm. The only issue we had with the hotel is the lifts - there was always one out of order and there was a lengthy wait every time we used them. We couldn't find the stairs to use as an alternative. We were asked before arrival if we wanted to bid for a room upgrade - we bid €6 per night and won this bid so we were upgraded on arrival. I will recommend for anyone visiting Berlin to stay at this hotel. We have absolutely loved Berlin and our stay at the Leonardo Hotel.
