Stayed here with family for three nights to celebrate a special birthday and loved our time here - the rooms were beautiful, spacious, and full of character with brand new shower rooms. Beds were very comfy and it's so quiet, so we slept very well. Breakfast was delicious every day and we enjoyed the complimentary sauna in the evenings. Perfect location for visiting Sanssouci, but also easy to get into the city centre of Potsdam (walking distance) and even Berlin by public transport. The hotel provided free public transport tickets for the duration of our stay. We'll definitely be back.
My husband and I had a wonderful weekend getaway at Hotel Villa Monte Vino in the "Turmzimmer". We particularly enjoyed the sauna, breakfast and views from the viewing platform in the tower. Great location for old town and Sans souci.
The room I stayed in was perfectly arranged, with windows that offer a beautiful view of the courtyard. The coffee and pastries in the restaurant were phenomenal, and breakfast offered plenty of fresh and tasty options. The staff were attentive and always ready to help. The villa is quiet and ideal for escaping the hustle and bustle of the city.
The hotel is very nice and staff is so kindly. The breakfast was very good, so menu variation vegetables, bread, little sausage and fruits. The hotel bar is also nice and serving was perfect and nice. The City center is near and bus goes to Potsam Hautbanhof very easily. It's also easy to go by train to Potsdan Hautbanhof to Berlin Flughaven. If I go next time to Potsdam I visit The Hotel Monte Villa.
Nice place overall, but the service was disappointing. We accepted their request to have the room cleaned every second day instead of every day, but then they only cleaned once in a week.
I called asking them to please clean the room, and then they brought toilet paper and towels but still didn’t clean. The guy on the phone didn’t care, and the women at check out didn’t care. Not what you expect from “four stars.”
