The location is great. Right across the short street is a Lidl. Many U-Bahn stations, shopping, restaurants and sights close by.
The rooms were very spacious with all the amenities (ironing board/ iron, mini fridge, nespresso machine, hair dryer, robe/ slippers, shower kit). The AC actually got the room cold!! The breakfast was pretty good lots of options! Kind of surprised they didn’t have pretzels.
Checking in and out was a breeze. I booked two rooms and the staff member helping us was very nice and quick.
We had planned to stay at this hotel today. Before our arrival, the communication by email created a very positive impression and explicitly offered the possibility of an early check-in.
Unfortunately, our experience did not match those expectations. Due to what appeared to be a technical issue, we were unable to complete the early check-in booking. We also did not receive a response to our email requesting assistance.
When we arrived at the reception, our concerns were met with little interest, and we found the interaction unhelpful and unfriendly. Fortunately, we were able to cancel our reservation and chose to stay at another hotel instead.
It is disappointing because the hotel’s communication promised a welcoming guest experience, but that was not our experience. Based on this visit, the service did not meet the expectations that had been created beforehand.
Exceptional hotel with very large, well appointed rooms, very friendly and efficient staff, and great breakfast. Much better value for money than large international brands. The room was probably double the size of Hilton DoubleTree.
Our stay at Dorint Kurfürstendamm Berlin was really confortable.
The staff was friendly from the beginning up to the end.
We were on the 6th floor sidely without view from the city.
The hotel from my opinion is well located and accessibly with different public transport.
Breakfast was with large varieties - I enjoyed this moment.
Very aged hotel in need of a renovation/restyling. Creepy dark hallways/squeaky elevators.
The room also didn’t feel inviting in terms of color choices / I felt disgusted by the aged carpets and sofa / the bed wasn’t made properly with the sheet coming off the mattress AND worst of all the dust that was collecting on the bed frame & questionable liquid that wasn’t wiped from the bed frame … (see picture)
2-in-1 shampoo + body wash is also not typical 5* standard.
However, the room and bathroom were sizable & young guy at the reception was friendly. Great location.
