⭐ 1/5 – Absolutely unacceptable room temperature for a €300 hotel! I paid €300 for a hotel in central Berlin, and I honestly cannot believe what I experienced. It’s autumn, the temperature outside is 9°C, and yet the temperature inside our room is only 15°C! The hotel refuses to turn on the heating, claiming that it’s simply not possible. I genuinely cannot understand how a hotel charging this much money can consider it acceptable to leave guests freezing in their rooms. At this price, I expect a certain standard of comfort, but above all, I expect not to freeze in my own hotel room! If I wanted to freeze, I would have booked a campsite instead! The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms are lovely, and the location is great. The staff were very friendly and genuinely tried to help us by offering a small portable heater, but it was nowhere near enough to warm up the room. Heating is not a luxury. It is a basic necessity. Please do something about this! Extremely disappointing.

If you like easyJet-style service, hidden fees, no real support, and the lowest possible quality, then you might be satisfied here. Otherwise, be prepared for disappointment. It is honestly hard to believe that this hotel is part of the Radisson group. The room was horribly small, dark, and uncomfortable. There is no proper air conditioning, so you cannot really control the temperature. The system simply blows air from outside, which makes it difficult to get the room to a comfortable temperature. The check-in experience was particularly disappointing. Instead of a smooth and professional welcome, I was asked a huge number of personal questions and for information that I did not feel comfortable sharing. There was also very little willingness to help or provide proper support. The breakfast was another disappointment. There was a big gap between the price/expectations and the quality and choice offered. Everything was very basic, and in my opinion, you are much better off getting breakfast somewhere outside the hotel. Overall, a very disappointing experience. The quality, service, and value for money are far below what I would expect from a hotel associated with Radisson.
The hotel is well located and has high tech facilities (self check in …), a good capacity and spacious common areas. The rooms are comfortable, the deco is a bit basic like an air b&b but the stay quite nice and calm.
Really great hotel - the rooms were exceptionally clean and spacious, even for a small room and the facility had great amenities for guests in the downstairs area. The beds were extremely confortable, too! Very close to public transportation and in a good area with shops and restaurants nearby. The only 2 complaints I have that prevented me from giving a 5 star review is that the in-room entertainment is limited and the cost of breakfast. Their TV settings are locked in hospitality mode, which restricts you from accessing the smart features of the TV, such as other HDMI inputs or screen mirroring. They require you to watch the local german cable channels and block you from enabling SAP or subtitles to listen in any other languages... so it's unfortunate for guests who want to relax in the evenings with movies or shows in their native language and cannot speak Deutsch. At least allow screen mirroring or HDMI inputs for those of us who travel with kids. Another small thing is that they should add blackout curtains for those of us on different sleep schedules. The other minor gripe is the cost of the breakfast, the selection is really nice and the food is fresh - but the price is very high for what is offered. Expect to pay €46 for a basic breakfast for 2 people. Other than that, we enjoyed everything else and the ambiance was warm and welcoming. We'd definitely stay here again, but I really hope they expand their in-room entertainment options in the future.
Nice hotel, bed was comfy and it has a shop in the foyer in case you need any basic essentials. Only downside is the hairdryer in our room was AWFUL. I actually thought it was going to go on fire when I used it because of the sounds/burning smell it was making, and a few times it overheated and then wouldn't work for an hour or so till it cooled down. The rooms could do with blackout curtains or blinds, as in the summer the rooms get very light early.
