5 stars are not enough. We felt wrapped in a cocoon. Thoughtful and professional staff. Nothing compares to this level of service. Delicious meals, delightful cocktails. Enjoyed the spa and sauna. Great location to enjoy on foot, by uber/taxi, or via the Ubahn. We were there during a very busy and tumultuous time for the city and we felt immensely safe at Hotel Adlon.

Reviews
This is a long review, but it is worth reading if you want to know more about the hotel before booking. I live in hotels around the world for months at a time for work, so I travel quite often and have a good basis for comparison. When it comes to true five-star hotels, each major city has its iconic properties. In Paris, you think of the Ritz or the Crillon. In London, you have the Savoy and the Dorchester. In New York, you have the Plaza and the Palace. Without question, I would say that Berlin’s iconic hotel is the Hotel Adlon. As you would expect from any five-star hotel, it offers top-level rooms, suites, food, and some of the best spa and pool facilities. Definitely take advantage of the pool and spa after work or before dinner. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is the service. I sincerely hope the hotel’s management and owners read this review because they should continue fostering a culture of helping guests and embracing a true hospitality mindset. It is extremely rare to find a hotel where every member of the staff genuinely wants to please guests, whether through welcome drinks, making reasonable exceptions for requests, being readily available to help, or going above and beyond in a friendly way. The culture of 5 star hospitality is all about the staff actually trying to outdo each other in wanting to help. In today’s inflationary environment, maintaining this type of service culture is very difficult. For example, the once-magical culture of hospitality in Las Vegas created by the likes of steve wynn and sheldon adelson are largely destroyed, even at many five-star hotels as inflation destroyed the spirit of hospitality . I would encourage the Hotel Adlon’s management and owners to continue appreciating and supporting their staff so that this rare culture can continue. Overall, I would highly recommend staying at the Adlon for its exceptional service and overall quality. Combined with its world-class five-star lobby and atmosphere, this is the place to stay if you want to impress your partner or are visiting Berlin for an important business deal. Great work. The entire staff should be proud.
Great value for money. Almost unbelievable price at Australian standards but true. Services are great and doorman both arriving and departure have been very helpful. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable (compared to boppard and without air conditioning. A disastrous experience compared to you)!
My daughter and I stopped by the outdoor restaurant on premises to have some lunch. We were asked to wait 5 minutes which is no big deal at all. We got sat within the 5 minutes which was great. By the way, there are approximately 80%of the tables open, if not more, so not busy. I'm a very chill person... We were not given menus or even approached at all once we were sat. I looked at my watch and waited until over 12 minutes had passed and then asked if it would be possible to see a menu. One (1) was brought over, for two people to look at, but at this point I'm not very impressed. After another 10 minutes, a server with a full tray of drinks tries to serve me a coffee drink, to which I say, I'm sorry, but that isn't mine. At this point, to no fault if her own, she proceeds to spill the coffee on me and anther series of drinks on the guy next to me. It was warm at best, so no big deal, but the absolute lack of concern by that entire staff was just plain outstanding. They were not happy about the drinks being dropped, but couldn't care less about whether I had anything spilled on me. I finally asked a woman that was standing by me for a napkin and she gave it to me, but that's it. And still, can't get anyone to even acknowledge that we are there or ask if we would like something to drink. I was there for about 30 minutes, and really didn't want to write this, but when I got back to my hotel (which is the Grand Hyatt and way awesome BTW... PROMPT service too😉) I felt I had to, as there are just so many places that have great service here in Berlin, and one rated this high needs to hear about stuff like this
We came from adlon Kempinski desden and from there to this one in Berlin. Big fans. This one is very nice and front desk lady was so friendly. Good cigar bar called elephant bar. Bar area super relaxing with piano player. The rooms were spacious and great. Very good location. Would highly recommended.
