Clipper Boardinghouse – Berlin-gendarmenmarkt

This hotel is fantastic! Great, helpful staff, excellent facilities, and the location can't be beat if you're staying in Mitte. The hotel is quite functional for a couple, and an excellent base from which to travel throughout Berlin.

Amazing central location. Spacious rooms. Service hours are limited but the staff was very helpful overall. I found my room a bit stuffy and kept the windows open much of the time. Not sure how effective the AC was as it was not particularly hot

We love this hotel! We stayed here twice in the last month. The rooms were the most spacious we've seen. Great kitchenette with a refrigerator that's actually cold. A glassed-in balcony with street views. We were here during a severe heat wave and the room was comfortable with the provided oscillating fan.

The front desk staff and housekeeping staff could not have been more accommodating and friendly. The room was spacious and clean, with a small kitchenette and a small enclosed balcony alcove overlooking the quiet street below. Front desk staff are not on duty 24 hours, leaving in late afternoon/evening.
