Great location and a lovely stay. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, and the bar downstairs makes excellent cocktails. The Amaretto Sour and the margaritas are especially good. The reception staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful.

Great, artsy, hotel. Wonderful and friendly staff, with a great breakfast service (a la carte and buffet). The rooms were spacious and well designed, nothing felt cheap or out of place. Location was epic, around the corner of the Brandenburg Tor.

Many thanks to Victor J.H. Tinguely and the team at Château Royal Berlin for the wonderful welcome during my visit two weeks ago. The rooms, luxuriously furnished with high ceilings, are very reminiscent of 1920s Berlin. Every room, every piece in it, is unique. Art comes alive in this hotel—modern works within a traditional structure come together to create a timeless combination. I couldn’t pass up the chance to try the lunch menu at the Château Royal restaurant. Suffice it to say: I’ve rarely eaten better, not even at my grandmother’s (even the bread and butter were unbelievably good). And when the kitchen manages to conjure up a delicious sorbet from sorrel, it becomes clear: only culinary artistry and the finest quality are served here. The non-alcoholic house beer (a craft beer) was also fantastic—cold and refreshing. The staff was attentive, helpful, polite, and yet always ready for a little joke. Just as you’d expect from a boutique hotel of this caliber. There’s even a music room with freely accessible instruments, records, and a record player. A dream come true for music lovers. A fantastic hotel, with service and food of the very highest caliber.

A perfect choice for anyone who appreciates great design, outstanding food, and impeccable hospitality.
