Very underwhelming, especially as a Titanium member. I paid £260 for a flexible room-only rate. The room on the fifth floor smelled strongly of old carpet, so I had to keep the window open. Basic amenities were missing: no vanity kit, nothing for cleaning shoes, and slippers and a bathrobe had to be requested separately. The Book of Mormon was simply placed on the floor next to the bed, underneath the drawer rather than inside it. I found that rather odd and unnecessary. There was apparently a room upgrade, but otherwise no Titanium recognition: no welcome gift, no food-and-beverage voucher, no points discussion and nothing mentioned at reception on arrival. The Executive Lounge was also disappointing, making the overall elite experience feel rather poor. Overall, not what I expect from a Marriott at this price. If you want to stay in the area, I would choose the Sheraton. If you want to stay with Marriott, Hotel Luc is another option. I have had good experiences at both.

Great location, nice and comfortable rooms. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the room well maintained. Service in the lounge non-existent and weak f&b offerings. No elite breakfast option at main restaurant. Overall, a comfortable and decent business hotel.
This is a really nice hotel part of the Marriot group The location is excellent close to public transport and most of the main sites that you might want to see. It's 15 mins transport to Alexandra Platz and 35 mins to the airport. Train station is a few mins walk away but mostly everything on your doorstep. We took the lounge access which I think is great. You get unlimited food and drinks from 5.30pm to 8.30pm which is a lot more than other lounges I have been to. There is also breakfast served. The food choices are limited and not a great deal of option but if your not a big eater than it's defo worth it. Drinks during the evening is wine and beers no spirits. The pool was a bit cold for my liking but ok size. I feel it could defo do with a jacuzzi aswell and access for robes. The room has most amenities but you need to request for slippers and a robe. It has 2 main restaurant hot dog place and a steak place. We tried the hot dog for lunch and it was ok. We didn't get the chance to try the steak place tho. The hotel is kids friendly also which is a bonus Overall I would defo stay here again
Hospitality is measured not by how a hotel handles extraordinary requests, but by how it responds to the simplest ones. My experience at the Berlin Marriott was overshadowed by an interaction with a restaurant employee named Danilo. I politely requested two glasses of milk for my 4-year-old daughter, expecting the level of courtesy and professionalism that one associates with the Marriott brand. Instead, I was met with an unnecessarily rude, dismissive, and confrontational attitude that was both surprising and disappointing. To make matters worse, I was charged $12 for two glasses of milk for my child. While hotels are certainly entitled to establish pricing policies, charging that amount for such a basic item—especially for a young child—is difficult to justify. It was also Sunday, when nearby grocery stores were closed, leaving us with virtually no alternative. Rather than showing understanding toward a family traveling with a small child, the situation was handled with a complete lack of empathy. Exceptional hospitality is defined by judgment, kindness, and common sense. Small acts of consideration toward families create lasting positive impressions, while unnecessary rigidity and poor service leave equally lasting negative ones. One unpleasant interaction may seem insignificant, but it has the power to undermine an otherwise positive stay. Marriott has built its reputation on service excellence, and experiences like this fall well below the standard that guests reasonably expect. I sincerely hope management addresses both the service culture demonstrated by this employee and the policy surrounding such basic requests. A world-class hotel should never leave a family feeling unwelcome over something as simple as milk for a child.
It is a nice hotel, great location , friendly staff. Having said that , it is not a 5 star hotel by any means . No coffee machines in each room in a 5 star hotel ? Drinking water was provided once during 3 nights stay , asked housekeeping for bottled water and never received it. The spa is ok but not great for a 5 star hotel . There was a fridge in the room , which is convenient rather but no minim bar, again , no mini bar in a 5 star hotel ? The hotel is nice overall , except it is a 4 star hotel at the most . At breakfast, the waiter Dimitros - very friendly and attentive .
