My partner I visited from Sep 26 to 29. We were greeted by Santiago; what a wonderful experience. He quickly became our “go to” for recommendations on what to do and see while in town. The rooms are what you’d expect; clean, adequately stocked with amenities. We would have appreciated at the time of booking a notice that the spa was closed; after all it was one of the main reasons we wanted to stay… maybe we’ll be back and have a chance to experience it… As a courtesy to future guests, would be kind to let them know what to expect.

Absolutely loved my time at this hotel. Even tho the sauna and rooftop was out of service during my stay, it was nothing less of amazing! The room was spacious with a massive shower, the gym was adequate and the staff were amazing with great service! Carlos, the guy that checked me in was friendly and recommended me lots of places to go out for drinks and food and they were exceptional! It was located in the ‘gay’ district but was not in walking distance to the attractions. However it was a 20-30 mins bus/underground journey away so not too far! I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m visiting
It’s always very nice to stay at Axel Hotels. This time we were in Berlin Schöneberg. Our very kind and helpful receptionist Santiago, gave us an upgrade to a junior suit. The room was spacious and great. We knew that Axel had some renovations going on, but that didn’t disturb us. The didn’t appreciate the breakfast buffet. That was very basic.
The hotel is in an excellent location, perfect for anyone looking for a great gay travel experience. The reception staff is wonderful. From the very first moment, Kevin was incredibly helpful, patient, caring, and welcoming. Milan was just as great, very professional and friendly. Although the spa is currently closed, the prime location and the staff who truly go above and beyond made my entire stay truly enjoyable. I didn’t try the breakfast, so I can’t comment on that. The rooms are cozy and well-equipped. By default, they come with a shower instead of a bathtub, but the shower is actually very convenient and easy to use. Still, I highly recommend requesting your specific preferences in advance, such as a double bed or a bathtub. A truly enjoyable stay, and I would happily come back again.
Little bit pricey adults only hotel for what it is. Rooms are fairly smart and modern though small. Bed was comfortable enough though could feel a few springs poking through. Shower over spa bath combo, worked ok. Decent pressure and temp shower. Coffee making facilities in room were poor... just a kettle and some instant coffee with old whitener that was too crusty to use. Location is great, 3 min walk to the metro/underground. Gym and spa were being refurbished, so gym was small but useable with decent mix of machines and weights. It's meant to 4 star but I'd say more 3 star.
