Arcotel Velvet Berlin

My fiancé ran the Berlin Marathon & was on tow, this was a great location for public transportation, easy access to top restaurants, the room was quiet impressive, good powerful hot showers & most importantly comfortable bed. I recommend it

I recently stayed at Arcotel Velvet Berlin and had a very good experience overall. The only challenge was arriving by car. The street in front of the hotel is very busy, crowded, and has tram tracks. My navigation brought me to the opposite side of the road, and because of the traffic and road layout, I couldn't simply turn into the hotel. I had to continue, change my route, and come back from the correct direction. However, once I arrived, everything went smoothly. The hotel has its own parking, which was a huge advantage and made the rest of the stay stress-free. The hotel itself is modern and high-tech, and I was really impressed by the room layout, it felt spacious, stylish, and well designed. The highlight of my stay was definitely the view from the room. It was one of the best hotel views I have ever had, overlooking the vibrant city, and it made the experience even more memorable. Overall, I highly recommend Arcotel Velvet Berlin, especially if you're looking for a modern hotel in a great location. Just be prepared for a slightly tricky arrival if you're driving.

Value for money, but you may stay somewhere else at a reduced price! A fair 5-star rating. After staying at both the [Another 4* hotel, cannot name it] and this ARCOTEL Velvet during the exact same week, I wanted to share a direct comparison. Since both properties are officially classified as 4-star hotels, one has to be fair: the other 4* is highly luxurious, and its breakfast buffet is in a completely different league. In comparison, the breakfast here at the Velvet is very plain and simple. The breakfast area is located right by the main entrance. It serves as a cafeteria during the day and is used for breakfast in the morning. However, the ARCOTEL Velvet costs only half the price! When it comes to cleanliness, it easily matches the luxury segment, the room here in Velvet was absolutely spotless. The service at the Velvet was also friendly and attentive. For this price point, the service, the location and the cleanliness, it still deserves a clear 5-star recommendation!

A great hotel. It’s very clean, comfortable and modern. The staff are friendly, the food is good and the location is perfect. I had a great time and cannot recommend this hotel enough if you’re wanting quality on a minimal budget.
