Full Day Private Tour To Flam With Pick Up

Be ready for a FULL DAY itinerary of clear lakes, massive fjords, and too many waterfall to count! We loved the three modes of transportation - van, fjord cruise, and railways. The on-line tickets made it easy to follow the schedule for the cruise and railways. Kudos to our great Tour Guide Roald who gave great instructions for meeting times and location as well as interesting commentary along the way.

Our private guided tour from Bergen to Flåm and back was truly unforgettable, and Roald made the entire day exceptional from start to finish. He was warm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insight about the region while making sure every part of the journey was relaxing and seamlessly executed. The day began with a spectacular drive through some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen. Roald knew exactly where to take us for incredible views and memorable stops and traveling by car with him allowed us to enjoy places we never would have found on our own. The fjord cruise to Flåm was breathtaking. The scenery was awe-inspiring, dramatic, and peaceful all at the same time, it was the most memorable experience of our two-weeks in Norway. Once in Flåm, we had time to walk around and enjoy the village before boarding the famous Flåm Railway, which was every bit as scenic and impressive as we had hoped. After another beautiful train ride to Voss, Roald was there waiting to pick us up and bring us comfortably back to our hotel. Every connection was perfect, and the entire day flowed effortlessly. We cannot recommend Roald highly enough—his knowledge, planning, and personal touch turned an already stunning route into a truly outstanding experience.

The tour is an effective way of combining the fjord cruise and train ride with private driver covering the other parts of the tour. You don’t need to worry about getting the tickets or rushing to catch the train or cruise. Everything is arranged well and our driver guide Tony is very friendly and gives us a lot local knowledge. While it’s more expensive but worth it.

This all day tour was awesome! We were met right on time at our hotel in a very clean Mercedes by Roald. Because he was born and raised in Norway, Roald was able to share some myths, tales (Trolls and Helga) and share some personal stories of growing up in Norway. He also showed us secret scenic spots along the way to Gudvangen (including best cinnamon rolls). Yes, the Fjord cruise and Railway to Flam was beautiful, but the secret spots were breathtaking! Scenery with snow and clouds reflected in calm clear water was spectacular! This was the highlight of our trip! Roald repeated many times the navigational part of the cruise to the Flam Railway and next railway to Voss. (I was afraid we would not make the connections) But it turned out to be very easy, thanks to him! Roald was informative and at times quite funny. He went above and beyond. (Even made our dinner reservations, etc) What a great tour and we hope to be back in Norway one day!

Very comprehensive tour including private guide/driver, trains and boat. Beautiful views from train to Flam and a gorgeous boat ride on fjords. Boat was medium sized, very nicely-designed with great indoor and outdoor spaces and access. Guide was great - informative, friendly, accommodating.

Highly professional staff, who kept us well informed. Our tour guide Roald was amazing, so knowledgeable and extremely patient with so many of our toilet breaks and a toddler melt down. Our Flam Real Experience AS Tour provided the highlight of our two-week trip to Scandinavia. We visited beautiful valleys and waterfalls away from the usual tourist spots with our guide Roald. He shared his knowledge about the Norwegian fjords and the area around Bergen. And Roald answered all our questions about Norwegian culture, history and industry. My husband, son and I wished the day could have been a bit sunnier. But our experiences driving the mountain roads with Roald, gliding along the Naeroyfjord on the ferry, and riding the Flam Railway were invaluable. I thank Sonia for arranging our tour; and I am grateful to Roald for giving us such an extraordinary day. I highly recommend this exceptional tour.

Roald was kind and well rounded in knowledge of early composers and popular musicians of Bergen. We were a little late from our flight but he waited for us to arrive and started our tour promptly when we were ready. It was a nice start to our adventure! He even sang at one point! Very enjoyable thank you!

Leading up to the trip…. Sonia was so easy to communicate with. She was absolutely fantastic. She promptly answered all my questions and addressed all concerns and was able to customize our itinerary due to the weather. Once the day arrived - We had a wonderful trip. Roald was very professional, punctual and charming. He made sure we had the best experience and got the most out of this unfortunate experience. He waited with us to board the ferry and while our train was delayed in freezing temperatures. He even went out of his way to go buy us an authentic drink while we were on the ferry. We would highly recommend this trip with this wonderful company.

Sonia from Team TRE communicated well in advance and checked with us if we needed baby seats for the kids and then sent us the necessary tickets for the cruise and the train. Our guide Roald was great and his attention to detail deserves a lot of praise. He went above and beyond on making sure we were comfortable and made all the sights on time. He even came to Flam railway station to check if we were okay even though he didn’t need to. Will definitely recommend him and the team TRE

We did a full day tour to Flam and the Sognefjord and a half day in Bergen with TRE. The care and attention in pulling our day and half of touring together was exceptional, especially as we booked very late, travelled in high season and had a specific time frame. The team at TRE answered every question promptly (and there were many!) and provided great advice and suggestions. Our guides, Farid and Sabella were excellent- knowledgeable, professional and engaging. Nothing was too much trouble and, not only did we learn lots, but we enjoyed their company and appreciated their local insights. It was enjoyable and stress free way to see this beautiful region with knowledgeable, local guides.
