Bergen Half Day Fjord Cruise To Mostraumen

The boat was an electric super quiet luxury. Very clean bathrooms,good snacks and drinks. The fjord Was just unbelievable.

We had a lovely ride up a beautiful fjord with excellent commentary on the areas we were seeing and its history and legends. All of the staff were lovely and there was a comfortable and very clean handicap bathroom. I use a small foldup walker and it was an easy on and off with a ramp.We saw such gorgeous scenery and wonderful waterfalls. Snacks and drinks were reasonable aboard. We recommend the Skillingsbolle.... delicious!

Awesome! describes this experience. Seated on top of the boat, could not stop taking pictures of the most amazing scenery while exploring the Fjords. Every turn brought a new delight, atmospheric, imposing, formiddable rock formations, cascading waterfalls as passengers ran to capture Nature at it's finest.

The cruise was comfortable and took us all the way to the end of the fjord. We saw cliffs and waterfalls and adorable little villages. The onboard narration was well done as well.

Great tour! The views were spectacular. We were lucky that the weather was sunny and clear.

A very senic ride through the fjords, where you see multiple sites from the water including the historic bergen harbor, huge rock clifs, and the surprisingly small man made paaaage between a fjord and a lake, with a guide giving some relevent information during the ride. There is ample seating inside but get there early if you want a window, otherwise just go up to the observation deck for most of the trip like we did (weather dependent, we were lucky that it was just cool and windy when the boat was moving, but bring rain/wind gear regardless.) Only downside was the boarding location was almost hidden by construction and we went to the clearly marked location nearby with the rest of the boats at first before we found it.

Captain maximized the views by announcing highlights, slowing the boat and driving up to the best waterfalls

A good half day boat trip, well worth the effort and views. Left enough time to come back and walk around the town center before hopping back on ship.

Great half-day fjord cruise. We were lucky with the weather and although the boat was almost sold out, there was enough room on the top deck to see the sights. We were lucky to have only brief showers so the outside locations provided the means to enjoy the trip, but if there would have been heavy rain, there were not many window seats inside to see the views.

Good value. Great fjord tour out of Bergen. Big twin hull boat provided a smooth ride. Lots of photos along the way.

We decided to go on this cruise as had been unable to see any of the coastline in arrival in bergen due to weather. The cruise did not disappoint. The boat was really busy and the open deck space became packed. Interal seating quite comfortable but limited visibility. Especially compared to some of the fjord cruise boats in other locations. I would not recommend if you have arrived via the fjords east of bergen as they are much more dramatic.

This is the Spirit Airlines of fjord tours. There were not enough seats for everyone, and the cabin was LOUD. This was not made any better by people watching videos on their phones at full volume.

Even though it was raining most of the time, we had an amazing experience! The ferry slowed at important points and the guide spoke about them - adding some humor in as well! The length of time is perfect for an afternoon or a morning in the fjords. Be prepared for rains and colder weather!

The activity timing/duration is good, and the panorama is good from the open deck From the closed deck, where there are the seats, the panorama is poor in the vast of the seats.

Nice large catamaran takes you to the fjords. At various points, the ship slows down to allow pictures and people on the bow area. Knowledgeable crew gave interesting information about the fjords and small towns along the shore.

A wonderful cruise. Everything was well organised with many seats. Many comments and the boat sometimes stop and let us enjoy and take picture. You can really see many waterfall, views was beautiful.

Upper deck is very windy so it is better to occupy a seat by the window and have a chance to come back any time On a rainy day there is very little fun

Beautiful sites. Worth taking trip.

This is not an inexpensive trip but it is a wonderful way to see the Norwegian fjords when you are short of time. The staff were very pleasant and friendly , the locations we visited were spectacular and we appreciated the choice of background classical music - Peer Gynt Suite of course - to admire the scenery. The whole trip is peaceful with pre recorded interesting information along the route. We really enjoyed the trip and felt it was worth the cost for our brief stay in Bergen .

The tour was beautiful!! Just enough information from the boat but much time that was quiet to enjoy the view. We spent most of our time outside and loved it!

Three hours of nonstop stunning scenery. The informative audio guide for the sights is just the right amount of detail. My top tip? Get there early to grab a seat by a window. Yes it is expensive but probably reasonable by Norway’s standards. Overall, definitely worth it.

A great experience. Super convenient boarding in history Bergen. The cabin seats are super comfortable, and there's plenty of room on the sundeck. The captain went fast when there was little to see and slowed down for the best scenery, then did a couple of 360s with the boat at the end of the fjord to make sure we all got a good look at the waterfall.

Excellent tour of the Fjord! Boat was comfortable and clean. There was a taped recording in English that pointed out various sights, but the captain would also come on the PA system to point out sights in real time. Got to see the majestic fjords up close. Highlight was seeing Minke whales breaching. Definitely recommend!

Nice cruise destination, where the landscape was beautiful. Would like to have had fewer people or more deck viewing area, as it was crowded to get a good outside view.

Nice boat, good narration, great trip. The fjords were beautiful, as well as other scenery. Pretty high cliffs!

Excellent and relatively inexpensive way of seeing the fjords. The route includes amazing landscapes, waterfalls possibly better when there had been more rain, beautiful secluded villages and breathtaking cliffs . I couldn’t hear all of the narration due to wind noise. But that was okay and better than a loud narration. On board facilities, food and drink were okay, but no vegan options sadly.

Beautiful scenery, however the upper deck is standing only, so your seating is indoors downstairs. You do have an opportunity to go onto the top deck for pictures, and you can go onto the bow when they open it during slow sections. It’s pretty but it may not be for everyone.

I accidentally booked out of Stavanger instead of Bergen. Stavanger is 4 hours away and Viator helped me rebook from Bergen even though I was past the 24 hour no-refund period so I was very grateful. This was a great 3 hour trip. The Electric catamara is very stable and quiet. The boat did stop at certain spots so people could get out on deck and take pictures. They also provided narration in english as we navigated the fjords. Seating indoors was very comfortable and featured ample restrooms and a snack bar. Despite the short trip, saw sone awesome remote villages deep in the fjord. I would highly recommend this trip!

The scenery was so beautiful. The captain made announcements for historical sites and other points of interest. We were enjoying the view so much that we never went inside for anything, except to escape the downpour of rain in the last 5 minutes. The inside looked very nice, and perhaps next time we would get a hot drink for the ride, but we were very content on the sun deck.

We lucked out with the weather and the scenery was stunningly beautiful! We are so glad we decided to do this very last minute!

The boat was unexpectedly comfortable and well appointed and staff were friendly and informative. Despite some dreary weather this was a trip highlight! We loved every minute of this excursion! Highly recommend!

Fast boat. Smooth ride. The great scenery is mostly at the end of the fjord. Views may be diminished during rain.
