Zander K Hotel

The location is unbeatable. Walking distance to the town centre and train and tram stations Service efficient but quite cold and not very forthcoming with information Breakfast buffet is great and varied can be extremely busy however even outside the advertised busy times Room was ok. Strange placement of window which leaves the room quite dark. Little space to put away clothes if you're staying for longer than a few days. No kettle etc, no safe

Very good hotel location, right next to the train station and within easy walking distance of the city center. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from. A nice bonus was the unlimited complimentary coffee, tea, and water available in the lobby bar throughout the day. The hotel also offered a free late check-out, which was greatly appreciated. The rooms were well-equipped, comfortable, and maintained to a high standard. Overall, this was one of the better hotels I have stayed at in Bergen. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

This hotel is close to the Bergen train station, a perfect hotel for those who are planning to go travel in other towns. We stayed here for 5 nights while traveling in Bergen. To begin with, the service and the place were satisfying, quick check-in and check-out procedures. The room might be a bit too small if you're traveling with your family of 3-4. Nevertheless, it was clean. The beds were comfortable, the TV worked, and the Wi-Fi was usable. I like the fact that they also provided chocolate and a letter in our room as welcoming gifts. If you're staying for more than a night and you want them to make up your room, you have to inform the reception on the day before. The hotel has a gym on the second floor for the guests to use. I didn't go have a look there, so I can't say how it was. Furthermore, the hotel has its own restaurant on the first floor where you can have their breakfast buffet or dinner. The breakfast starts at 6:30. We only had their breakfast throughout our stay. They had plenty of food for us to choose, but they are more or less the same on each day. Overall, it was a pleasant stay here at Zander K Hotel.

Stayed at Zander K Hotel a few weeks ago and I'm so happy I chose this hotel, we had a lovely stay. We were here for 4 nights and the staff were all lovely and friendly. Our room was all that we needed, amazing comfortable bed, we had a great sleep!. Room was very clean and bathroom too which does include gorgeous shampoo/conditioner/shower gel and moisturiser full of goodness all which you can purchase from reception, so I did :) it is a little pricey but in my opinion worth it. The restaurant has a lovely ambience and food is great same at breakfast time great selection. We found the restaurant for dinner can fill up very quickly so I would definitely recommend reserving a table. The lobby area is so relaxing we loved hanging out here every night on our return back to the hotel. If I remember correctly the bar is open from 3pm until midnight. There's also free tea/coffee machine 24/7. There's a gym on the second floor which is also open 24/7. The hotel is very centrally located and directly across from the train station with the tram around the corner which takes you to the airport. It's just a 5 minute walk from the harbour and Bryggen Wharf and I would definitely recommend the Fløibanen Funicular which takes you to the top of Mount Fløyen with the most spectacular views of the city!, and of course a stunning cruise along the Fjords!, these were just two of the must see on our itinerary! :) We loved our time in Bergen and we will definitely be back again soon and will definitely be rebooking the Zander K Hotel. I would recommend this hotel for everyone, solo, couples and families. Thanks Zander K for a lovely stay :)
