Full Day Tour 5 Island To Ile Aux Cerfs Incl. Lunch And Transfer

Do not book this excursion with Freshverde holidays. We booked through the Viator app the day before and paid upfront. The reason we booked this excursion was because it included a pick up from the hotel (8am). After 5 mins we contacted the support number provided and it just kept ringing, even though their website states they are open from 8am to 5pm. We continued calling and between 8:30 and 9am they kept on putting the phone down after the first ring. This is so unprofessional! A whole day ruined thanks them.

Excellent experience and a fantastic tour guide named Jeremy. Jeremy was very knowledgeable and made the tour more fun. We enjoyed the speed boat experience, seeing the sea turtles and monkeys in the wild. We saw five islands which were stunning, saw a lighthouse, a waterfall and snorkelling which was amazing. Had a great lunch on the beach and the staff were very friendly and helpful including our driver Nikhail who picked us up and drove us back who was very informative and knowledgeable about Mauritius. I would highly recommend these guys to you if want a memorable trip.

Super program for a one day trip to see the east. Freandly staff, including the hotel transfer. Highly recommend.

We booked an 8-9 hour tour from Blue Bay with snorkelling in Marine Park and a trip to the shipwreck included. We got a 6 hour from a different port with very little snorkelling and didn't even visit the marine park/wreck. We seemed to spend most of the tour chasing dolphins which was not what we wanted at all (boats aggressively rounding them up - it was horrible). It was not a terrible time (hence 2 stars rather than one) but it was not the trip we booked- and they don't reply to emails.

There was an unpleasant experience on one of the islands that was professionally handled; things were not really organised also the driver picked us up as taxi mates to drop other passengers for two good hours. Ricardo our boat driver is excellent keeps to time and very interactive ❤️👌

The experience was horrible. Very limited option for veg. We were made to switch the boat after 1st island visit. The next boat didn’t have cover and our skin literally got burnt. I tried to tell the operator to put on the cover but he refused.

We had a very bad experience on this trip. 1. Our morning driver was late. She reached the hotel at 700 in the morning. As a result we were late in reaching the jetty and missed the speed boat. It took some time to organize a boat boat to take us to our boat at the first island. As a result we missed the first 1 hour of the tour and Ile Cerf Island. There were 15 people on the boat and only 3 life jackets. And the strap of 1 jacket was broken. This is completely unacceptable for us and a big breach to our safety. My wife and I could not snorkel as there were no flippers or life jacket available. The tour was promised to be 8-9 hours but it ended by 1445. Significantly shorter than promised. We definitely did not stop at 5 islands and all the stops seemed very rushed. All in all, definitely not worth the money.

Actual experience only 6 1/4 hours, The experience did not include Blue Bay Marine Park snorkeling as stated on itinerary

Kenny really made this experience unforgettable! It just so happened to be both of our birthdays, yet he made this day feel super special for me! He continued to keep my cup full with delicious rum, my belly full with food he made himself and he even let me drive the boat! Everyone on board was filled with joy and there was non stop laughter all around! We all had a lovely lunch together on one of the islands, the food was great. I even had the chance to try sea urchin! We had the pleasure of listening to music with a very talented guitarist! What a wholesome day, very grateful for this experience!

It was a once in a lifetime experience with amazing views and professional staff. I recommend to book this boat trip if you visit Mauritius. Drinks onboard were included, but unfortunately we did not get enough water which made the experience less pleasant. Just take your own water with you to avoid dehydration.

The best trip to do and a perfect host From beginning to end this was a fab trip and would highly recommend

This is a COMPLETE scam and FALSE advertising that should be illegal. We would like our money back! Please don’t book with them. They sold us a boat with “unlimited alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks” - this is a lie. We requested a beer and was told they don’t stock it on the boat, and we can only get drinks once we have food on the island (even then, the drinks were not unlimited). We explained we paid for unlimited alcohol and they said sorry they don’t supply it. If you are lucky you will get a glass or two of cola or water, and a light snack to keep you going until lunch. That is it. The snorkelling only lasts 30 mins at most and is a farse - there’s no ‘blue water park’…it’s just the middle of the ocean! And their equipment isn’t clean. They washed snorkelling gear in the ocean after someone else used it, without sanitising it. I had to use a wet wipe myself to ensure it was clean. The boat is also a small speedboat with no toilets. They squeeze loads of people into one boat. You can book with a different provider and get a nice catamaran boat. Also our driver insisted on picking us up early, so we skipped breakfast at our hotel and arrived at 7.50 and had to wait around until 8.30AM before we could board a boat they could find for us. It was very disorganised! The food on the island was nice but covered in flies and lacked sanitisation. It’s a massive tourist trap! DONT go with this tour operator. Go with your hotel recommendation who will charge you a fraction of the price. These guys are falsely advertising and selling a service they don’t provide for triple the price. They should be banned!

The boatdriver (Kenny) was skilled, funny, informative, entertaining and overall a nice guy. It happened to be his birthday. He was congratulated by other oassing boat(drivers) what created an extra atmosphere. Pickup by car was a bit late, but that seems to be an island thing

The speed boat was amazing offering drinks all day was really good as it was a beautiful hot day. Well organised loved spending time on all the island. It’s a must do trip. Lunch was delicious 👌🏼. Thanks for a lovely day.

This crew has many different activities you will like. Walking under the water ; was best experience😊😊😊 it’s safe and guid will be there for you, they brief me how to communicate with the guide under the water. I experienced to see different kind of fish I feed them(bread) and the best part was they take pictures for memories😘😘😘. Parasailing ; was amazing I experienced to see the beautiful environment from up it’s feels breathtaking, felt like I was flying🤣🤣🤣. Tube ride; yoo was so so good sitting while moving felt like paradise😘😘😘 the speed boat made it so much better and 😄. After that I visited three island with speed boat and had some lunch & waterfall this was something else because the waterfalls into the ocean some monkeys and birds surrounded by mountains 🥳🥳🥳.

Brilliant Trip! We were picked up from one of the kindest people we have genuinely ever met (Anup) who made us feel so welcome and was clear with his communication on where he would drop us off and pick us up pre/post our trip. He also stopped by his house on our way home and picked up some freshly cooked Diwali treats from his family. Such a lovely touch! The trip itself was so much fun from start to finish. We were fortunate to have a really fun group of people and the captain was creating a great atmosphere. We stopped off at all five islands, had rum, music, snacks and a delicious bbq lunch cooked by the locals. We were fortunate enough to see some Dolphins and Turtles!! And feeding the monkeys whilst heading towards the waterfall was lovely. A great trip and excellent value for money.

Tony boats are the best We got late to reach the place however they were kind enough to give us options so that our money was not wasted. We took the catamaran tour which was very good. The entire day was well spent. The staff ensured to look after us very well. We had alot to eat n drinks were on a roll.

Amazing boat trip with breathtaking scenery and the most turquoise sea we've ever seen! Our captain was great fun and knew all the best spots to stop to see dolphins and giant sea turtles. All of the island stops were great and the bbq lunch on Ile aux cerfs was well organised, delicious and served by super friendly staff. Would highly recommend!

Take with you a pair of water shoes or similar as you will need them. Be prepared to talk with your fellow travellers as it makes the day even more enjoyable.

We had a great day with our guide and boat driver Nelson! He was very friendly, outgoing and informative. He was able to get us a very personal view of the GRSE waterfall. The lunch was delicious and the wait staff even played two guitar songs just for us. The snorkeling was very easy on the "lazy river" and allowed us to simply enjoy the fish and coral. On this adventure we also saw monkeys, a skink and tropicbirds!

If you’re thinking of doing this. Absolutely do!! It’s brilliant. We fed monkeys visited ruined buildings private islands and met some amazing people. We saw turtles and tropical fish. Brilliant day out.

We booked the 5 island speed boat tour by the team of Kamla. She told us about all the things we will visit during the tour and also told us the differences between the tour with the speed boat or the Katamaran. From the start till the end we had a great time and a lot of fun. We got many impressions of Mauritius. Our boat captain and our tour guide Kenny and Georgia were both very friendly and funny. We had so much fun. The tour lasts about 7-8 hours, we were able to see monkeys and also feed them. We also stopped to go snorkeling, it was very interesting and we saw an incredible under water world. On a bay we stopped to drink vanilla rum in the sea with a great view of Mauritius. At the end we also got time to have a bbq on Ile aux Cerfs. The tour only costs 4.000 rps per person (≈ 80€) so it was not expensive at all and every money worth it. We would recommend it 100%. We have nothing bad to say about it except the fact, that at the last stop of the tour (bbq at ile aux cerfs) we had free time of two hours. There was nothing much to do so it would be nice if the stay wasn’t so long. Besides that we have nothing to complain about. Big compliment goes to Kamla for being super friendly and helpful, she answered all our questions and was super nice. Thank you very much for this nice trip.

The 5 island tour was amazing. A driver picked us up from the hotel early in the morning (flic en flac) and drove us to the harbour near il aux cerf. Our tourguide was Joy, a really nice and funny guy who made sure that all of us had fun and felt safe. We then started our speed boat tour. We were the first ones to arrive at il aux cerf, therefore it was really peacefull and quiet. On our way to the other stops we saw a sea turtle, our biggest surprise that day. We had the best music playlist for the whole day - Party Mode was on! Make sure to pack some spare cloths for afterwards, because you will get wet and with the additional wind it will get cold. We would recommend this Tour 100%

It was a pleasant boat trip, and felt almost private since we only shared it with another couple, who stayed at the back of the boat and we barely interacted with them. On the downside, there was quite a long wait at the dock from the moment our taxi transfer dropped us off until the tour actually started. The itinerary includes just three islands—Île aux Phare, Île aux Cerfs, and Île aux Aigrettes for snorkeling—as well as a visit to a shipwreck. Overall, it was a good experience, but the drink refills were limited, and the lunch on the island was very standard (grilled chicken, swordfish, and roasted banana and pineapple). It’s a recommended experience, though perhaps a little pricey for what’s included.

We had a great day out! Our guide (Joy) was knowledgeable, friendly and fun. We were well looked after and we would recommend this trip.

Joey the guide was amazing! He got us all hyped and loving life! Everyone was singing to his music and he was so happy the whole day answering any questions we had. We were all loving the rum too! The snorkelling spot was perfect with lots of fish and crystal clear water. Lunch was amazing and delicious and the karaoke had everyone up singing and dancing in the sunshine.

Our driver Jay, was ahead of pick up time, messaged me and greeted us friendly. He was helpful in every way right till the end when he arranged our drop off at our hotel too. Our family boat trip with skipper Donny was a joyful and fun experience, we got to see some historic sights and beautiful views, spotted some dolphins, a huge turtle, amazing wildlife and snorkelled in the crystal clear reef. Lunch and drinks was delicious made by locals and eaten on the beach. Donny, kept the vibe going and was just overall amazing! Fantastic overall experience

Having got up at 6am with a small child to meet our driver at 6:45am ‘sharp’ we waited in reception for over half an hour. We contacted the driver to ask his location and after 2 messages and a phone call were told that the trip was cancelled due to weather. This in itself is understandable but the tour operator didn’t formally tell us this trip was cancelled until 3 messages from us and over 3 hours later. It is unacceptable to not let people know that the trip is cancelled as soon as they were aware. After contacting the tour operator multiple times they refuse to acknowledge their lack of communication. Not wanting to be left in the same situation again we had no choice but to request a refund and book elsewhere.

Do not Go to Mauritius and not do this trip - it is AMAZING! We booked through trip advisor. Prompt pick up from the hotel by taxi took us to the boat. Our skipper was Kenny. He was just the best. So much fun and made all of us feel really welcome. The activities were packed full. Make sure to snorkel as sealife is incredible. I wont spoil the surprises as so many beautiful sights and not forgetting, if you enjoy rum, it flowed well! Thanks Kenny, you made our holiday and a pleasure it was to meet you and make incredible friendships. Highly recommended!❤️

Great tour, so much fun. Booked via Chris on the beach at Ambre Hotel (Belle Mare) and was great value compared to tour operators. The captain was fun and tailored the experience to all of the passengers on board and took the time to get to know us all, explained where we ere going and history of the islands. Managed to sport green turtles and dolphins as well as feeding the monkeys at the waterfall - not suited for small kids but great experience and value and great memories created - all of us smiled the whole time on the trip.

To our surprise Manav was our driver again, great start to the day. We started 30 minutes late to allow breakfast at the hotel, good local knowledge, nice touch! Nelson was a real relaxed Mauritius skipper. The drinks flowed, we had a fantastic day! 5 Islands, Lunch on the Beach, swimming, relaxing all great!

We had an amazing time on this full-day trip! The skipper and guide were absolutely fantastic – professional, friendly, and fun. The music on board kept the energy up all day, and the lunch and drinks were delicious and well-organized. It was our first time snorkeling, and the experience exceeded all our expectations. Everything was smooth, safe, and full of good vibes. Definitely worth it – highly recommended!

Every thing about this trip was fantastic. The transfer from the hotel was long as we were in Flic en Flac and the bay is on the east side, our driver was great company and we talked all the way there and back which made the journey of nearly 3hrs combined there and back fly by, traffic is crazy in the morning in Mauritius. The speedboat trip was superb, our captain was a super cool guy and very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs, the beers and rum kept flowing. The much was also very nice, you have to experience the way they do this as it’s a perfect fit for the different boat trips, in our group which consisted of another 2 couples all from the UK we managed to polish off a whole bottle of rum at lunch and they offered us another!! We could not snorkel due to rough sea, but as a bonus on the way back we slowed down to have dolphins swimming with the boat and the. We also got to sea sea turtles swimming and coming up for air. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who loves the sea and fast boats and drinking (that’s optional you will still enjoy without the Rum!)

Overall this trip was a very enjoyable way to spend the day… our pickup and drop off went smoothly, the staff on the speed boat were very friendly and helpful too… however the experience didn’t match the itinerary/description exactly. For example my wife was looking forward to an hour on the glass bottom boat but as nobody wanted to snorkel in the Blue Bay, this part of the trip was cut short by about half an hour, as we got taken to our speed boat instead. We don’t remember anything about a shipwreck or prison either! Didn’t see much of Ile aux Cerfs either other than having lunch on a small but very beautiful beach.. so just be aware this trip may not meet exact expectations BUT we still were well looked after and had a really lovely time… just go with the flow!!! Also remember this is mainly on a speedboat which may not be suitable for all as quite bumpy in parts.

Nice boat - trip on a sunny day in Mauritius... - We had this trip in May 2025 and have to say, that it was fantastic... - The pick up at our hotel was without any problems... - when you book, trough tripadvisor.com then your driver vil cantact you the day before and give som informations... - When we arrived the meeting point, the driver handed us over to our boat Crew... - they was pretty friendly and professionel... Then we finaly drove out by boat and explored the first to islands the shipwrack and the old lighthouse... - after that, we was going further into the Black River and visited the waterfall, there we meet som monkeys and beautiful birds... - after that, we was going to a beautiful coastline and enjoyed our BBQ on the beach... - there was also time enough to swim or snorkeling in the amazing blue shallow water... All in all, this trip is recommendet for everybody... - even for familys with small children or elder people... - the guides are very helpful and make this trip to a sucess for everyone...

Loved the experience. My wife had a wonderful 30th birthday and Manav of the Freshverde company was extremely helpful and friendly. He made sure we were all comfortable and agreed to a drive on fairly short notice to accommodate.

This is probably the best day trip we've ever done. Top marks to Nelson who made sure we had a great day. If you only do one trip in Mauritius - this is the one.

Just a fantastic day out. Both the driver who took us to/from the tour, and our tour guide Nelson were excellent. Fantastic scenery, lovely food and drink. Would give 6 stars if I could!

I booked this trip with Viator and was told pick up was 8am. The day before the trip I got a message to say pick up was now 7am. We waited for our driver and he didn’t turn up until 7.25am!!! He barely spoke to us and was a crazy driver. Driving very fast and dangerously close to cars in front. We got to the boat pick up point near the airport in one piece…somehow! Our boat skipper was Nelson and he was amazing! Our faith in freshverde was restored! He was fun, knowledgeable and friendly. He really cared about the people on the trip and made sure everyone had a great day. All the stops were lovely with Ile aux Cerfs a highlight. Despite a downpour of rain, we had a great day. Nelson made us all laugh and really made the trip great. When we got off the boat everyone else’s driver was waiting for them…ours was not! We had to wait 20 minutes in boiling hot sun for him to turn up. That was after I called asking where he was! A great day on the boat, but the transfer was a nightmare!

The best day out! Absolutely fantastic trip, great captain, every stop was beautiful and we saw so much, from islands to waterfalls and monkeys, turtles and dolphins!
