Enjoy a carefree day exploring one of Mauritius’ most beautiful islands while we take care of all the details, including hotel pickup and drop-off, speedboat transfers to Île aux Cerfs, a freshly prepared barbecue lunch, and drinks. Your driver will collect you from your hotel between 7:00am and 8:30am (depending on location) for transfer to the departure point, where you’ll board a speedboat between 9:00am and 9:30am. Cruise across the turquoise lagoon and pass the spectacular Grand River South East (GRSE) waterfall, where you may spot monkeys in the trees and native fruit bats along the riverbanks. After the waterfall visit, continue to nearby Ilot Mangénie, where a delicious BBQ lunch awaits, featuring grilled chicken, fish, fresh salads, and more, along with soft drinks, beer, wine, and rum. Following lunch, take a short boat ride to Île aux Cerfs, where you’ll enjoy 3–4 hours of free time to swim in crystal-clear waters, relax on white-sand beaches, sunbathe, or explore optional island activities at your own pace.
The experience was great. The kids favorite part was feeding the monkeys and waterfall. The water sports were good, very short so mainly swam around plus there is a place for food, ice cream and drinks. Lunch on the beach was well organized, no waiting. The kids loved the sausages and chicken and were well fed. It’s a far drive if you staying west of the island so make sure the kids can handle that.
This tour was a little unorganized. Pick up was smooth but getting on a boat at the dock was chaos. We had to approach the lead who was assigning boats and he wound up saying we would do the itinerary backwards. This gave us less time at the main beach area and more time at lunch. Finishing with the waterfall and monkeys. I feel this lessened the experience - the waterfall is mucky and there isn't anything to do on the very tiny beach area at lunch. I would have much more enjoyed spending several hours at the main beach area with a bar and chairs to relax on. If possible avoid being told you will go backwards. Otherwise this was a good experience. The water is unreal. So teal and so warm. We enjoyed our time on the main beach and sipping through the Indian Ocean on speedboats! Lunch was also good.
Driver pickup was on time 7h45 at hotel he brings us to trou d'eau Douce where we pickup the speed boat to visit the waterfall barbecue was excellent
It was an excellent trip and great suporort from the crew emmanuel and ryan. we did all water activities and night 2 hr sun bath…. kids enjoyed …
Was organised by a company called Tino boats. Overall, this activity is avoidable, they leave you at an island for 2 hours with people trying to hard sell activities to do. The lunch was fantastic, although we weren't served dessert. But the planning and communication from the tour providers side was horrible and we wanted a lot of time.
I could’ve skipped the Ile aux Cerfs tour as it didn’t live up to the hype. The beaches on the main island are so much nicer and the lagoon water isn't great for swimming. We kept getting pushed to try water sports, which got a bit annoying. Lunch was a letdown - just one sausage, a piece of chicken, and a small bit of fish, with no vegetables. I was still hungry afterward. That said, the driver was fantastic, punctual and really friendly.
The day out with Sebastian, our guide was excellent. I gave it 3 stars due to poor organisation. Booking trip pickup time 8am. But what actually happened was we were to be picked up at 06.30. Info didn't specify this. In the end, we got to jetty to pick the boat up at 8.10 But set off till 09.30, so stood out in hot sun. The boat had no cover from sun. Food was awful. Visiting lighthouse was a nightmare, stepped off boat into sea onto bed of seashells which cut into my feet. We weren't asked to bring sea shoes. We saw dolphins, turtles monkeys. So despite hiccups it was an enjoyable day.
Trailfinders organised this trip for us and our speed boat captain was Nelson. What an amazing day. It was fun and suitable for all ages we had a lovely Italian family on our boat and the only thing their little girl did not do was the snorkelling. The lunch bbq was great chicken and fish plus a great coleslaw. Plenty of drinks during the trip and during lunch. With an amazing waterfall to also see and feel. If I am lucky enough to return to the island this will be at the top of my to do list.
I was taken to Trou d’Eau douce to board the boat by taxi driver Avinash, he was very nice and friendly and his driving is nice and smooth, which made me feel safe in the car. As to the boat tour itself it was very pleasant. We arrived on Ile aux Cerfs around 9am, it was very quiet and peaceful and we got plenty of time to enjoy the beach and different activities available on the island. I had a chance to do some snorkelling off a glass bottomed boat which was great, for an extra 1500 rupees as the day trip didn’t include water activities. Giving 4 stars instead of five as there was no vegetarian option for lunch, I was given a curry with big chunks of meat in it (after informing Bonjour Mauritius ahead of time and one of the staff cooking at the barbecue place before lunch that I don’t eat meat.) however, the side dishes of potato salad, garlic bread and rice were very tasty! After lunch I was brought back to the main shore where Avinash was already waiting for me, to bring me back to my hotel, really appreciate the punctuality!
Beautiful places to visit. Enough time at each location . Trip only spoilt slightly by being the only 2 English speaking on board and we're with a VERY roudy crowd, who even brought their own portable speaker with them. Having said that they were lovely people, just a bit ott for us and not understanding them was awkward at times. Enjoyed the trip though
A bit of a long journey for the transfer, but overall we had a great day out. The speed boat trip was fun and we got to see different parts of the island plus the waterfall. The drivers were friendly and informative and the BBQ was great with plenty of good food and drink.
The day was one of the highlights of our trip. Everything was well planned and executed. The driver picked us up on time, was very obliging and friendly. The boat driver was bo different. He made us very comfortable and catered to our needs. The food was excellent. Overall it was a tour well worth the money.
Speedboat transfer, waterfall & lunch provided by Tino tours was excellent with fruit bats and monkeys observed on the way. The 2 hours on Aux Cerfs island was pleasant but marred by the demand for 600 rupees per person for the sunbeds despite not one notice on the beach re:- the cost.
Waterfalls, monkeys , helpful tour guides all helped to make this a day to remember . I would do it again

All was well organised. We have been picked up on time. At each part the "handing over" to the next service was without any delays and problems. We enjoyed very much the special attention and individual service. Thank you for a wonderful day!
Wonderful day with a great captain, Jerry, who showed us great places and timed it to avoid crowds. He also gave us an interesting history of Mauritius. Nice lunch on the beach, Highly recommended
Snorkelling is not included in the price but an add on. So without the snorkelling included, definitely a waste of money. Ile Cerf is ok - not a fan of the lagoon water so not a proper beach. Lunch was on a very sad looking piece of land with once again lagoon water and not sea/beach and to spend 2 hours there was a waste. For the price, I expected more.
This place is paradise. We spent my partner's birthday on a day trip here and were extremely well looked after by driver Keni, who gave us a mini tour on the long drive from our Bel Ombre hotel, and the crew aboard the boats. We paid to go on a short snorkeling trip in the lagoon at Ile Aux Cerfs and were able to wander along stretches of stunning white sand without seeing a soul. Our lunch was a superb medley of fresh seafood and chicken, and our skilled boat captain was able to manoeuvre us right under the GRSE waterfall, where we also saw monkeys playing in the trees.

Dreaming of this little island now that I'm all cooped up with shelter in place. Probably our best day in Mauritius with tons of beach time, lunch and drinks provided and seamless pickup at our hotel.
We arrive by Cruise Ship Norwegian Spirit in Port Louis on 31st March 2020 at 08.00 and depart Port Louis at 17.00 (Ship 16.30) Are you able to pick up and ddrop off at Port Louis Cruise Terminal in time for departure? We are two people so far .
Ile aux Cerfs was a wonderful day! The tour went off without a hitch, from the private transfer to the boating adventure, island lounging, and lovely lunch. I'd highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get out to the islands without having to worry about details.

This place is really a perfect water sport destination. Also u can visit a water falls on the way to the island. Indian food is also available in the island. Can book a private speed boat for the whole day. Cost around 8000 mur. Share speed boats are also available along with full day package including lunch and water sports activities
Ile aux cerf island and the cascade was just amazing beach , sunset , You can as well to a lot activities and the water is clear blue
First of all, we would like to point out that the hotel pickup was on time and the taxi driver was a very polite man. The speedboat tour was okay, but nobody told us anything. We did not know how long our stay would be at the boat or if we have to follow any instructions. At the island Ile aux Cerfs we got off the speedboat and we went for a walk. The sea was knee-high but clear, it was not possible to go swimming at the one side of the island. The other side was too windy, the waves were too high. So we decided to relax at the beach at the sunbeds - but the use of these had to get paid. A part of the island is private, so you are not allowed to enter this area. The other part is full of attractions like banana boat etc., which got promoted very loud and vehement. To sum up, if you don't want to do some touristic attractions but you want to have some peace and quiet, this is definitely the wrong island. Although June is not the peak holiday season, there are lots of people. The lunch (BBQ) was okay too. The drinks were included as well. At the island where we had lunch there was no toilet, electricity or flowing water. Anyway, we were full up - the taste of the meat was not overwhelming. For us, this trip was disappointing. We do not recommend it.

A taxi picked us up to take us to the starting point. The speedboat ride is just great but not much to do on Deer Island. A small accessible beach and the other large is not recommended because many sea urchins. We made the trip by flat bottom boat to see the coral reef (bof). Then the boat and returned to pick us up towards the waterfall with stop towards the monkeys then very good meal on the beach before leaving. The organization was top and all the people we met very friendly.
After canvassing on the beach of the Shandrani Hotel, we met Marcus who offered us a boat trip. We had planned to visit the big market in Mahebourg on Monday, Marcus had no problem taking us there on his traditional boat. To enhance the ride, he made us discover the whole coast from the hotel to Mahébourg with a stop at Ile des Aigrettes for a snorkelling session, On the way back , we walked along the coral reef. We warmly thank Marcus for his knowledge of the island and its history.

Very pleasant day with the transfer included which makes traveling and parking easier. Magnificent landscapes, unique activities, all in a friendly atmosphere. The organization could nevertheless be revised by scheduling an activity in the morning and an activity in the afternoon. This would probably give us a little more time to enjoy lunch.
Picked up on time at the hotel, snorkeling equipment (old fashioned 😊) was provided and we were off pretty quickly. Jordan and Johannes, the guys from the crew, were very attentive and explained everything well in English and French. And what can I say, the speedboats are fast. Seaworthiness is an advantage. First to a small waterfall (traffic jam before, there were quite a few boats), then across the lagoon (surprised that we saw dolphins) to the lighthouse island. Since you can also walk around there, it takes a while, depending on the interests of the other passengers, until everyone is back in the boat. Past a historic prison island (no stopping) to the next landing point, the bird island. There you can snorkel in the crystal clear water and there are some fish to see. If you are expecting something spectacular, you won't get your money's worth. We still found it very nice. When we started again there, we were at a beautiful beach on Ile le Cerfs at around 1:45 p.m., where we had a plentiful lunch of salad, grilled chicken thighs and fried banana. Also delicious. Even those who liked to drink were served with restraint. As we were going to swim, sunbathe or go for a walk afterwards, we didn't head to the fun beach at Cerfs until 2:30 p.m. and as we were supposed to be back at the mooring point by around 3:30 p.m., we were short on time (10 minutes). All in all, though, it was a beautiful day. When we got back, however, the two taxis had already left. And there were still three of us couples. It took three quarters of an hour before another taxi came after we had called twice. That's why we only got four stars.
Great excursion in a private group of four. Pickup and excursion worked great. Whether taxi driver or skipper, everyone is super friendly and have explained a lot to us. Highlights were the wild monkeys at the waterfall and the BBQ on the beach with super delicious food. There was hardly anything going on on on the island when we arrived. So definitely worth going there first thing in the morning. There is really a lot to Enterprise on the island. Whether water sports, walking or just lying in the sun.
Early arrival at the deer island, where we could enjoy pdt 2h...small visit of the waterfall very pleasant, followed by lunch in a paradise, in the shade, provided by a super team.
The weather wasn't so good, but the organizer can't help it! Speedboating was great, the waterfall and the monkeys an experience. Also the BBQ was good.
Nous avons eu un très bon chauffeur Kessaven, par contre très mitigé sur excursion Car l’Ile aux Cerfs est totalement vide, sans intérêt depuis le covid. Nous avons pris l’option Snorkeling et comme nous restons devant la barrière de corail poissons proches de zéro ! Par contre très belles cascades et BBQ avec une équipe sympathique. Je ne conseillerai pas de faire cette excursion pour l’instant
Paradise location, the staff is very welcoming, the boat ride with the waterfall was particularly pleasant, the meal was good, not too many tourists on the island, we were able to enjoy the beach quietly. The only problem we did not have the right to dance Sega which was however in the description of the excursion.
Bonjour, Je tenais à vous informer de mon mécontentement ! Excursion médiocre ! Je suis vraiment dégoûté ! Nous n’avons pas profité de l’île aux cerfs correctement. Déjeuner tardif, le barbecue n’était pas satisfaisant, nous avons encore faim ! Pas de danse saga comme le dit le descriptif . Mais bonjour Mauritius toujours aussi performant, chauffeur qualifié, à l’heure et sympa !
We spent a very nice day at deer island. Beautiful landscape! We had time to do towed buoy and enjoy the lagoon after taking the fast boat back to the waterfall and the beard! Day at the top!!
