Catamaran To Ile Aux Cerf With Parasailing, Tube Riding & Lunch

Too expensive for the poor experience. The boat is small for the number they accepted, VERY CROWDED & NO PLACE. There was NO SHED from the sun or the rain, we burnt under the sun and soaked when it rained! The next day some of our group were sick and all of us had muscle aches from hanging to the deck, very inconvenient and we saw other boats that are bigger and are having more fun under the big shed! When we landed, the activities were NOT INCLUDED which is a SCAM they mentioned it was included! We had to pay cause we went all the way. The family hosting were nice and served us well. But unfortunately it was not enough.

AVOID! They take your money & then distance themselves from any decent customer service. On board, they promote water activities once you reach Ile Aux Cerfs. 1 of the young lads came over and showed us the brochures, & in particular, paragliding, once we arrived, a speed boat took us to the platform. We were offered an extra, to be filmed while in the air on a GoPro. We supplied phone numbers, as was told the pictures/videos would be whatsapped. The same person from the boat crew took us to the pay booth on the beach to pay, which we duly did & paid on card - Sea & Charter Ltd. Guess what? No WhatsApp. Emailed them, & they deny it ever happened! Told us to sort ourselves? When we say we will leave a review, they threaten legal & Police action against us. £ lost isn't much, but it's a matter of principle. No stage did they show empathy, had our ££££££££,couldn't be bothered. Boat was small for a catamaran. Toilets stank. no music the entire day, like a library. Scuba diving was in the open ocean, no spot of interest. Not enough snorkels. No life vests for non comfortable swimmers. Dropped us off at the island, never told us if we walked through the woods, a picturesque lagoon, found it by chance.

Great day sailing in the morning and activities in the afternoon. Para sailing and tube ride were awesome. The underwater walk was little disappointing. Lunch on the catamaran was delicious, music gave good vibes and we would have joined in if we were not so hungover from day before 😀

A lots of thing started on a bad base! the operator on site tryed to make our experience conform but we loose more than 2 hours... we couldn't do all what we paid for.... ask for refund and had a non answer I will definitely not recommand your service and again less Freshverde.

Snorkelling was never offered. Lunch and bananas not a 3 course meal. Music was so loud on the catamaran my ears were actually hurting.

Really enjoyed this trip. Food was fantastic and good experience. Enjoyed the waterfall . The crew was really helpful. What a wonderful experience

we organized our bachelor tip in mauritius and we choose to do it in a catamaran. everything was well organized. kesh is a great guy. the food was amazing. we had a great time snorkeling, exploring the island. cheers!!

Didn't really follow the itinerary, no water provided on arrival so spent the entire morning thirsty! Activities were fun, parasailing was the highlight! All felt a bit disorganised, we spent thr day just going with the flow as we weren't sure what was happening! Lunch was a bit of disappointment but the catamaran cruise was enjoyable. Maybe a bit overpriced for what you actually get.

Total scam – DO NOT trust them. First the driver was 30 mins late and we were initially told we have missed our catamaran and the local operator told us to just get on a random catamaran. After we got onto the random catamaran, we found out this crew does not offer most of the activities we have PAID for. We DID NOT get to do the parasailing activity, undersea walking activity and tube riding activity. The snorkel equipment’s they have provided were broken and very unclean. After we got back on the land, we spoke to the crew members, the local operator who promised us that we would get a full refund. We then contacted the customer service from the viator website hoping to get the full refund as promised. Of course, it was a lie. The customer service said because we had participated SOME activities so no refund but my point was we did NOT get to do MOST of the activities we have paid for and we were falsely promised we would get a refund. We were sent onto a WRONG catamaran and no way it was luxurious as we have paid for. This is a total scam.

Sea Walk was unique and amazing. Parasailing and Tuberide was as expected and good. The catamaran ride was average with trip from the Island to a small waterfall

Our Taxi Driver, Kumlesh was great, The team at the water activities were lovely… The Catamaran was the worst experience I have ever had. It was supposed to be max 12 people, we were at least 24, no place to sit, cramped up like sardines. Then the food was not enough. We were then stuck on the boat & the captain didn’t want to take us to the beach saying he was on his lunch break!! Our group of 7, ended up begging a smaller boat to take us to the island. Definitely felt ripped off… wouldn’t recommend this particular ride & team

We had a perfect time tor our honeymoon.. again aniket took us on time. The activities was great. Catamaran was lively and great time with the crew. Food was amazing. Overall great experience!!!

At the time for pick up I called them cuz nobody contact me so they told me we r sorry it’s fully booked, and now for one week I haven’t received my money back.

Staff was great, driver was helpful, food was ok! They really try and go the extra mile! Will definitely recommend this company.

pick up at 6:45 as we lived in west coast which is a bit far away, drive around 1 hour to do undersea walk, interesting but the helm really heavy. then drive to board the catamaran with a group of people, bit snorkling and a bbq lunch, take a small boat to see waterfall and a family of monkeys there. then have parasailing, excited and fun. finally landed on the island and went to have the tube riding. Full day with a lot of fun. friendly and helpful crew, happy tourists dancing all the time. very relaxing.

Bought the excursion, but were only told upon arrival that our kids (5 & 7) could not participate in any of the water sport activities. Escorted to Ile aux Cerfs by underpowered boat, with no life jackets or shade cover. Travelled 40 minutes in the blistering sun around midday. Left on Ile aux Cerfs without any guidance what to do or where to go. Repeatedly tried calling and messaging freshverde the tour operator, but could not reach anyone. Waited for catamaran to pick us up where we had been dropped off from 12 - 3pm. Nobody tried to contact us or look for us. No communication whatsoever. Stuck with 2 hungry and tired small children. Eventually bought our own overpriced lunch on the island and found a different tour operator, who made contact with the catamaran driver. Were told to wait where we had been dropped off & that they were sending a speedboat to fetch us. This didn’t happen either, so second operater kindly escorted us to the catamaran with their boat. Upon getting on catamaran at 3pm we were met with unfriendly staff who implied we had inconvenienced them, by making them wait for us! We’re offered leftovers for lunch, which we declined. Stopped for a 5min swim, no snorkelling opportunities. When finally disembarking the catamaran, one of the staff half-heartedly apologised offering all sorts of excuses. Overall misadvertised, disorganised, terrible communication. Dreadful experience.

Disclaimer: save your money and time do not use this tour!! Terrible experience and terrible planning from the agency. We got picked up so early to only understand that they were taking us for parasailing, and all the activities at 7:30am after we just had breakfast. We finally were able to to get in touch with the owner and he refused to refund us knowing we were told the activities will happen throughout the day. We then sucked it up declined the activities and went for the catamaran tour not knowing that it will get worse than before. We arrive at 9 and we only leave at 10:30 they started packing us like sardines on the boat (we were promised that the boat will only take 15) but we were more than 25 in a small space. Honestly, we had the worst experience with this tour. First what’s advertised isn’t true, we didn’t get any of the activities mentioned and we were expecting more of a catamaran cruise that is more focused on the beautiful sea, nature, island, waterfalls but sadly, the boat was focused more on loud music, drinking (with drunk people), not considering the other guests and on top of that the boat was overcrowded, they packed us like sardines. It was not the trip that we expected and we could not wait to get off the boat in all honesty.

The people running the operation are very nice and interested in you having a good time. You ride around on a Catamaran boat with about 20 people plus the crew of 4. The food and drinks were good and plentiful. The sites on the boat are nice. The activities like parasailing are cool, but it last for 4 minutes start to end. The parasailing should have been at least 10 min if not 20min. They cancelled the tube riding and instead dropped us off on an island bar that was not included. The undersea walk was amazing. We got great video of from the experience. Overall it was a nice day.

the overall day was good, it felt a little disjointed as we were taken somewhere to do the undersea walk then taken for the catamaran, I did the tube riding, which was quite short but still fun, i was the only one doing the parasailing so the rest were taken to the island whilst i did this. the view was amazing and the crew of all were good. the trip up GRSE to the waterfall was eventful as the little boat we were on broke down so had to be rescued but this gave us something to laugh about. the underwater walk was great and something very different to experience, the team working that were lovely and talked you through everything and made sure you were ok. I would recommend this trip as you get to see a lot as well as doing some relaxing on a lovely beech. there were a lot of people on the Catamaran though, so space was a little cramped.

Overall the experience was great! We had amazing views, good service on the catamaran and very nice food. Only problem we had was the start of the trip, we were taken somewhere where we dis all the activities (under sea walk, tube riding, parasailing) following this we were taken by taxi and dropped on a beach where we were told to wait, we proceeded to wait here 1 hour before we had any further communication and the catamaran finally came to pick us up. Upon pick-up we were told we were late and due to this we would only get 30min on the island. From the island however it was smooth sailing.

The whole experience was nice. The parasailing and the tube were really really short, maximum 2-3 minutes. The underwater walk was nice but best if you bring earplugs with you as the sound of the bubbles leaving the helmet was very loud and took away a big part of the joy. The boat trip to the waterfall in the trou d’eau douce was very nice and we have almost nothing to complain about, very nice. The catamaran trip; the crew on the boat were very nice, kind and helpful. The friendly crew really ensured that every one had good time. The bbq buffet was very simple, grilled chicken, grilled fish and grilled sausage with some side dishes served on the boat. It felt very cheap but was actually quite tasty. The boat standard was a bit low in terms of quality of the boat. Once we were at the island, isle aux cerf, we were dropped there and the crew told us that we will be picked up in 2 hours. The island is small yet crowded with people as well as sellers of all kinds, activities, souvenirs and restaurants. After 2 hours of swimming, we went back to the boat and after about 30-45 minutes we were back on shore and once again the crew went around to ask if anyone needed anything and that everyonehaving a good time.

The boat crew were great! Had a fun day on the water with beautiful weather, swimming, snorkeling, parasailing, and of course lots of "Mauritian coffee" 😉😜. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to experience Il aux Cerf and have some fun

When we booked this trip the description painted a lovely day with a boat trip and various activities of an underwater walk, parasailing & tube riding. It read as all of this happened throughout the day and after arriving at the island later on in the trip and we booked it on this basis. The reality was that we were picked up from the hotel at 7am and taken to do these 3 activities at 8am, and we was on our own, not even as a group. I had barely woken up and was not expecting this at all! It certainly was not as described. My wife opted not to do the underwater walk or the tubing and the parasailing was cancelled. I was advised that the tour organiser would contact me to arrange a payment adjustment but this never happened. I was contacted by them to ask how the trip was and I let them know the above. The person became very argumentative even when I sent screenshots of how the day was described (which I can see has now been altered to not describe when the activities will take place). No refund on the missing parasailing was ever offered! Customer service was extremely poor. On the up side the boat trip was great (the tour operator does not run either the activities or the boat trip aspects) and the crew on board were a real good laugh. The driver that picked us up and dropped us off was friendly and professional. The company that puts this all together and takes your money should take a leaf out of these peoples books. If you are happy being dropped off first thing in the morning to do all the activities in one go before being taken to the boat then fine, if not then this is not for you. Personally I would now have just opted for the boat trip after this experience.

Amazing, it was the best day in Mauritius. And the food and BBQ were delicious. Also, The song choices were great. A must do tour!!

Water sports were so much fun as was the catamaran on the return journey. The downside was there was a lot of waiting around

Tripadvisor picked up and dropped at proper place and time. The catamaran trip was fabulous with welcoming cruise operator. Food was okay, with unlimited drink servings. Enjoyed thoroughly with all free dances by warm co-passengers to the rhythm of country music. Tuberiding was truly a fantastic experience. The operator denied parasailing for windy weather. Luckily, we did have that activity with other agency on spot at higher cost. However, Viator has made a refund against parasailing with a little follow-up. Overall, a great trip to Ile aux Cerf in real aquamarine blue ocean and silvery sand. Will recommend to all visitors.

We had a very long drive from the south upto the east cost (2hrs) so pick up time was 6.15am. Our driver was very nice, when we arrived at the water sport activity centre, everything was explained to us clearly (we initially thought all water sports would take place whilst on the catermaran but they dont.) We were drove out into the sea on a speed boat and all the activities were amazing especially the undersea was that was magical. The down side to the parasaililg and tube ride was its states 15min each one but was only 5minutes. We were then rushed to the catermaran which is in a different port that had already set sail without us! On board the catermaran all the captains and people were so friendly. We had the most amazing day and a chance to do parasaililg again at a cost. The down side to that were: on the catermaran, the other people had started eating their BBQ food, so when we got back, people were already helping themselves to seconds even before myself, my fiance, and six others had the chance to get outs. Which I though was a little rude! We had enough food to go around just greed of some. The full experience is well worth it. Thankyou to everyone on this trip.

We were late being picked up so spent a lot of the morning playing catch up. We were taken straight to the beach to do the activities where we met the rest of the group. Aquacity did a good job with the activities being well organised and coordinated. Once we were onboard the Catamaran it felt like trip had begun in earnest with drinks and good food being served by the engaging and entertaining crew. Overall, a good day out despite appearing somewhat disjointed at first.

This is our second time in Mauritius, we booked this excursion with freshverde. We had a nice time with our family on the catamaran. The crew membrs were very friendly. The food was delicious and they made great drinks for us 😃. Our children had a blasts and they enjoy the 3 activities which was thrilling and fun.. but it was a bit windy. I certainly recommend this excursion..

The undersea walk and parasailing were special and first-time activities for us - we loved them. The tubing was fine - but we're used to much rougher tubing. UNFORTUNATELY, after paying Aquacity extra for photos (which is fine), Anoush forgot to download the photos of the parasailing - and we're really so sad about that. Our driver, Samad, man - that dude won't be late for anything. Even though I felt nauseous after the morning drive (and I never get motion sickness), I have to add that he delivered us safely to all our destinations for the day. The catamaran cruise was nice. If I had known it was going to be that crowded, I would have had another think... I don't like being packed tightly into a small space with lots of strangers (especially drunk-ish strangers). Ten fewer people would have made quite a difference - and would probably have made a difference to the state of the one and only WC... It became a bit yucky. We enjoyed the snorkelling and the speed boat trip up to the waterfall. The barbeque lunch was enjoyable too. (Unfortunately, they didn't serve sparkling water.) I have to commend the crew for doing a really difficult job seamlessly - with a constant smile and loads of humour. The stop at Ile Aux Cerfs was special and I wouldn't have missed that for the world! There were also clean bathrooms - and a place I could get COFFEE AND sparkling water. The catamaran trip is a bit of a booze cruise. If that's not your thing, I'd recommend you find another way of doing the activities and going out at sea without subjecting yourself to sharing a small space with lots of (drunk-ish) strangers.

The Trip was nice, the bbq delicious. Unfortunately, the weather was not - at least in the beginning of the Katamaran Tour. We have started with the watersports Events. The underwater walk was very nice. The tube ride was fun as well (duration: 3min). Anyway, the Timing was very bad planned. There was no time for parasailing at all. Even if everything went perfect, it would be still impossible. At least, We received a Voucher for the next day but against the announcement, it took only 4min and not 10 to 15min. Our driver tried his best to bring us to the Katamaran on time - and it worked. The remaining Trip was nice. We were only disappointed of the snorkelling Part. There was just a little sea Grass - no reef, just a few corals - and three types of fishes. That was not worth it.

The order of events were not as advertised. It was a separate catamaran trip and a separate water sports event. Had we known this, we would not have booked this trip. Initially, we were taken for the water sports which were good but parasailing was cancelled due to weather. Unfortunately, they were then late taking us to the catamaran trip. This meant we missed our boat. A Mauritian man took us on his speed boat to a different catamaran where people only spoke French. We were stuck on this catamaran for around 2 hours, not knowing what was going on. We were then approached by another speedboat which took us to a catamaran which claimed to be our original. However there was only one other couple who spoke English so we aren’t convinced this was even the catamaran we were meant to be on. Due to the switching between boats, we were not taken to the waterfall which was one of the main reasons we booked the trip. We mentioned this to the catamaran crew who told us there was nothing they could do. The crew were friendly however the whole experience was stressful and unnerving. Very disappointing and falsely advertised. We would not recommend this trip and will be asking Viator to refund us the money.

Good Organizer, punctual and very friendly driver. Had some beautiful moments :) Seen much fishes while the underwater tour. Seen beautiful places and had really fun on the boat. All in all a perfect day!

Service was fantastic start to finish. Our driver, Samad Lagan, was on the ball and very friendly. Undersea walk, parasailing & tube ride is a definite must. Catamaran crew were amazing and such fun! They interacted with all the guests and entertained us with dancing and music. The meal & drinks on board was a nice experience. Would definitely recommend them.

Samad was absolutely wonderful! He is punctual and a good driver and very patient. Our tour experience was great and more than we could have asked for. We are grateful we found Samad and we’re very happy with his services. The entire tour was breathtaking and a wonderful experience. These water activities are things my husband and I had never done before so it was great to experience this for the first time on our honeymoon. Next time we are in Mauritius and need car services or tour experiences we will contact Samad and this company. Absolutely stellar service and experience!

What a terrible experience!!! After searching for the perfect Catamaran trip for our holiday in Mauritius I choose this one. The blurp states a few key words "luxury' and Max 15 people. Firstly the pick up changed from 7am to 7.30am...with the driver finally arriving at 7.45am. We were thus late for the activities. It was Raining, this is no one's fault. We did the tubing and undersea walk. Both I have done before. Run down equipment. We could not parasail due to rain. There were another 2 couples with us. Then you drive a further 15 mins to the Catamaran. We were wet. When we got there we were told the Catamaran had left already and we would take a speedboat to it. Firstly let's assume it was not raining....that would mean we could of parasailed, correct? That would also mean we would of been an hour later and apparently the Catamaran does not wait...so how on earth would we have the Catamaran that we were told does not Wait!!!! Finally they speedboat us to the Catamaran which does not look anything like the picture. It's old and run down and not Luxury at all. The biggest disappointment was it was packed. There were at least 25 people on it all squashed together. There were 2 other couples with us remember so 6 more to add on a tour that clearly states MAX 15 people. The other couple with us pulled out the reservation ticket and told them this is not what we booked. Long story short all us did not get on....there was no space anyway...and told them to take us back to shore. Back on shore the tour operator Freshverde Holidays acted like we were wrong. All 3 couples booked via Viator. We were not wrong and paid good money for this. The name of the Catamaran we were supposed to get on was Neptune and the staff wore Neptune labeled clothing. I have sent emails to all companies and no response. We were told on shore we would get a partial refund as we did do some of the activities, although dismal and we we did not parasail. DO NOT BOOK. I have done luxury tours to Gabriel Island and they were excellent and not though Viator!!!!

Wish I had read Sidd Ws review before booking sadly we’ve just had an awful experience with Freshverde holidays too!!! We started the morning off with activities, minus parasailing, we literally had 5 minutes on both tube riding cost £29 and under sea walking cost £55!!!! for 2 people. Then we went somewhere else for Catamaran, which apparently we were told had left as we were late ( lie number 1) didn’t make sense as all of us that were meant to be on cruise were at the Port, they then proceed to put us on a speed boat which took us too another catamaran boat (which wasn’t 42ft as advertised) (lie number 2) This boat already had 20 + people on it including crew (lie number 3) when booking it clearly states maximum 15!!!! Sooo? It felt like they tried to just add us onto some random boat as it wasn’t worth their overheads to put us 3 couples on a boat of our own (as we paid for) clearly they didn’t have enough numbers to justify cost so tried to fob us off onto this boat instead of cancelling like the said they would if there weren’t enough people and issuing refund!!! So yes I agree fraudsters!!!!!

The under sea walk and parasailing was an amazing experience the parasailing was just very short. The catamaran was not a great experience at all, the catamaran was overloaded to many people on there everyone didnt even have a seat had to sit on the roof. The toilets was disgusting and very unhygienic and seeing that its still in COVID time this was not on. Once in a lifetime opportunity. Really disappointed.

Loved all the activities. The food could have been better, had no flavour & not many options for drinks. Didn't do any snorkelling as mentioned in the package. Overall was a great experience.

The trip was well organised and we enjoyed it very much. We had a friendly private driver throughout the day who picked us up, drove us from the activities to the boat and brought us home safely. Thank you Irshaad! We did the activities first, which was super fun!! Afterwards we entered a speed boat to see the waterfall. From the speedboat we entered the catamaran to have lunch and to sail to the island. The only thing a little disappointing was that we didn’t have time to stop at a snorkelling spot. Otherwise we had a really great day and would definitely recommend this tour!

We had the most incredible time on this trip for our last day in Mauritius. Our driver was so so lovely- nothing was too much for him. He bought us snacks and water throughout the day as we had to drive quite far from where we were staying for the activities. He also had a great playlist and took photos for us when doing the water activities. The water activities were so much fun and a real adrenaline rush. The leaders were great and made sure we had lots of fun. They also made sure we were very safe. The crew on the catamaran were excellent and made sure we were taken care of all day- drinks topped up, activities explained and vegetarian food provided. Our driver rang ahead to make sure we were well looked after which was so lovely too. We were very lucky and give huge thanks to everyone who made our last day in Mauritius so much fun.

So the thing is , s ema like the whole water activities and the catamaran cruise is offer by a separate company.the driver took us to a shop(company) who dis the whole experience of the day . it was good with lota of activities but i feel the price in here was kept more than the actual. there were other options with lesser price but we thought we were paying for some special/higher quality food and bevies however it was standard. no snorkeling equipment /lifejacket were provided which was not as per the listing. also remember the total time for the catamaran will only be like 2hrs mayb as most of the trips u will have to transit to a smaller speedboat to travel. like going to island, going to grse waterwall, going to the water sports . the experience was good but its overpriced for no apparent reason. if u find cheaper option go for it as its gonna be the same . if u are lazy to do so then go for this one. the driver was good and on time though. overwll good experience but not the value for money

Thanks to our driver Kavish for the on time arrival at our hotel , definitely take the picture option when they ask, you want to enjoy and not be worried about a photo, let someone else do that for you, Thanks to the activity crew , that was on time and pro active in giving us a great experience Thanks to the catamaran crew, driver Rudy and his crew for making it spontaneous with great food.
